Honestly, I feel like I got caught in a tourist trap coming to Yogies. It was hot, we were tired and hungry and this was easily placed across the street from the Mayflower II that we had just come from. Not knowing what food options were in the area, and feeling fatigued, we went for the quickest in sight option - enter Yogies, standing cute with its curb appeal. Anyways, we ordered crab cakes, popcorn shrimp and a ginger ale. The portions are massive because everything is served with a half tray of fries. The popcorn shrimp was a hard miss for me. It's most batter and the shrimp looks shriveled up and old when you try to remove some of the hefty batter that's been caked on. The crab cakes were nothing to write home about. It was all fried and this meal left me with food regret. My advice...come here for ice cream, and let them keep their food in the kitchen. read more

There are lots of spots for ice cream in the area, but Yogies Cafe is a solid choice! They have a cute storefront with some outdoor seating, but it's a pretty small spot. Since it's counter service, expect to recieve your food pretty quickly. Although they had other stuff on the menu too, we just went for the ice cream. I've walked by this place so many times and never knew they had an ENTIRE VEGAN MENU!! The menu on the street only has a few of their very basic menu options (none of the vegan ones). It's a shame they don't advertise the vegan menu on the street! Considering it's summer, the food didn't take extremely long. It's a walk-up and order spot with all outdoor, picnic table seating. We ordered the vegan chicken pizza and vegan chicken wrap. Wrap was fresh and good! No dressing on it but you can probably ask for a side of oil and vinegar or balsamic (I didn't so I don't know). Randomly stumbled upon this place when visiting Plymouth Rock and Mayflower II. Very cool looking place on the outside, reminding me of a southern house. None of us were really impressed with Yogies Cafe. I don't know what we were expecting but it was eh. My dad got the lobster roll and was disappointed. The food wasn't overwhelmingly great. Yogies Cafe is basically a glorified concession stand. They offer pizza, chicken strips, hot dogs, etc. They also offer some seafood choices. My kids ordered chicken strips and nachos which were on par with concession stand food. I got the shrimp plate, and the shrimp was actually good. My husband got the lobster roll, which was just okay. First off, the menu has no prices. You have to ask the cashier for a menu that has prices. Food was awful. Had the clam strip sandwich and the clams were chewy. My wife and kids had burgers, which were okay. My daughter had chicken strips that were NOT the chicken breast meat, but the cheap ones. For the price, that's unacceptable. Lastly, The fries were horrible. This place is a tourist trap that Is appealing for the location and the water view. I was trying to find a place with seafood near Plymouth Rock that wasn't a restaurant but was handicap accessible. The best part of this place is their handicap lift albeit tight quarters. The first clue about the establishment should have been their lack of transparency regarding prices. The the lobster rolls were the most expensive we purchased and the worst we ate while travelling the Eastern seaboard. And they were rather rude and unaccommodating. We got a small maple walnut soft serve and a small strawberry frappe. I had never seen maple walnut as a soft serve and I now know why! The taste was extremely artificial and the strawberry frappe was bright pink and tasted like straight-up syrup! Turned our mouthes red. Pricing ended up to be $16. We just went on a field trip to Plymouth Harbor and stopped at Yogies Cafe for lunch. Abdul was so wonderful to all of us. He helped our students with their money and food selections. Our tour group had 2 hours in Plymouth. We thought we could get a quick bite at Yogi's, but after I ordered my meatball sub and my wife ordered her chicken patty sandwich, we ended up waiting 35 minutes! The bread on my sub was awesome--tasty, toasted, warm. But the meatballs, sauce, and cheese were room temperature. Slow service + room-temp food = two strikes. We ate on their patio where we had a great view of the Mayflower park. We didn't hear others complaining about their orders, so maybe we just got unlucky. We lost 1/4 of our once-in-a-lifetime trip to Plymouth waiting for mediocre food. read more

This had to be the best hotdog I've ever eaten. That stuff was straight up fire. The bun was soft crispy and fresh all at the same time with an amazing sausage. The sausage was juicy, hot and soft. It had a great snap to it. It was so good o had to get a second one. IF YOU ARE GOING HERE GET THE HOTDOG. You will thank me. Next for desert I ate the fried dough. It was good but not too special. It was about the quality of fried dough you get at a fair or something. Finally the ice-cream. The ice cream was just good nothing too special just quality ice cream. Overall go to this place if you want great food at reasonable pricing. The one criticism I have for this place are the long wait times, but trust me, it's worth it. read more

I would highly recommend Yogies Cafe. Hadi who was working when we stopped by to get ice-cream after the concert in the park. He simply could not of been nicer and more accommodating to our family. We have a child with a food allergy and he was just so nice about it. When people go out of their way for a customer it truly speaks volumes about them and their business.
