I've came here on weekday dinner and it's a small place but I never had issues to find a spot to sit. Parking is also pretty easy too as well. This place was owned by a Korean person but sold it to someone else so it's different from before. The people who work there seemed a bit disorganized as there were only two people in front of me but just ordering took about 10 mins to do because they couldn't figure out who's order was what and so I was just standing there waiting... Then when my food is ready, they didn't have it ready all at once yet they called my number which was strange. And when I went up the second time to get it, they didn't know they were missing another item (thank goodness I didn't throw away the receipt) and so they checked and realized my other food was sitting on the side this whole time... Anyways, so the food comes out (had beef bowl, udon, california roll, and shrimp tempura) and it's not really the same as the last time I came where the food is just too sweet now. I was disappointed that the shrimp tempura was a different style and the rest were a bit sweet. I honestly don't know if I could come back here after experiencing the service and the food as well. I've passed by this spot so many times and finally decided to give it a try. Going in, I wasn't expecting top tier cuts and honestly, that's not why you come to a teriyaki joint. It's more about how well they execute within that lane, and for what it is, this place holds its own. I ordered the beef rib bowl (I'm a sucker for beef ribs) and added chicken. The portion came with about three smaller rib pieces, and while the flavor was there, the beef ribs leaned slightly on the dry side. The chicken, though, was the highlight. It was tender, moist, and definitely the better protein choice in my opinion. The overall vibe is pretty laidback. There's a TV playing inside, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice touch. Staff was okay. Nothing standout, but things moved along smoothly. Also worth noting, the restroom requires a digital code, so make sure to grab that if you need it. All in all, it's one of those "good for what it is" kind of spots. Went here on a Saturday morning around opening and the food was soooooo delicious! I got the Beef Plate -- it comes with so much food (beef, rice, salad and some orange slices) for only $12-13. They also had bottles of teriyaki and hot sauce if you wanted to add more sauce to your food too. We waited around 10 minutes for our food, but it wasn't bad since we did come around opening. But the food is lacking. ordered two bowls, large #3 chicken and beef and large #13 chicken and beef with vegetables. First disappointment was the meat portions between the two were nearly double the size in the cheaper #3. Paid $5 dollars more for veggies with less meat... advice is to order the #3.... Hi I work for the city and I been going to this delicious spot for the more than 3 weeks in a row and man I can't get over how good it is ! The place is clean ! The employees are super nice,professional and hard workers ! Every time I go I feel good being greeted by the front people. Feels great to be in an environment where you're nicely greeted every time ! I like how the food feels healthy and taste great! And the team leader Denise is super kind and very professional! Next time will do just the chicken plate and will definitely try the shrimp tempura! The salad is just lettuce, could use a tomato, carrot or cucumber to enhance the plate. Last weekend I went with some friends and saw something strange. I'm not sure, but it seemed like the cooks were acting like they were drunk. They were in the middle of a rush when we came in, it took about 15-20 mins for our food to come out. The spicy tuna roll was basic 7/10, but the actual bowls were good 8.5/10. It's just your classic teriyaki bowls, tasty and satisfying. My boyfriend and I couldn't finish everything so we had a bit of leftovers the next day! I got the large Chicken/Beef Bowl and it was very good and full of flavor. One thing they don't ask you when you order is if you want green onions so if that's your thing (like it is mine), be sure to ask them for a side of green onions. It is what you'd expect from a teriyaki place and I feel the pricing is pretty reasonable. The large bowl definitely filled me up.
