    Prime Rib Loco Moco
    Samantha L.

The ube pancakes are the main reason I keep coming back for breakfast. I always add the extra blueberries because they pair so well with the ube. Even though they look rich and super sweet, they're actually incredibly light and perfectly balanced. They're fluffy, not overly sweet, and I can easily finish the whole stack because they're just that good. I also tried the prime rib loco moco. It was decent, but my prime rib was a little on the tough side. Next time, I'll probably stick with the classic hamburger steak instead. The Denver omelette was amazing, though. It was generously filled, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Definitely something I'd order again. If you're visiting for the first time, the ube pancakes are an absolute must!

We had brunch at YogurStory after seeing their ube pancakes online. Wait times can be long, but you can join the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time. The restaurant is located in a relatively busy plaza and parking was a bit difficult to find. Luckily, we arrived just in time to be seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a casual atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was nice, but we experienced a bit of a delay in getting all of our food. The food was delicious. My favorite dish was the ube pancakes. There is a very generous amount of ube cream smothering the fluffy pancakes. The ube cream was decadent, hearty, and perfectly sweet. You can order extra blueberries, but the standard order will already come with a few. The crab benedicts were also really good as was the loco moco.

Haven't been since they moved to the old like like drive inn location- it's been years and wasn't disappointed in their food. They are super busy so service is ok but don't expect too much attention. They did kept our water glasses filled so we were ok with the service. Kim Chee fried rice - lots of flavor and very filling. A good dish to share! Pork belly oniker - a great dish, loved the dipping sauce that pulled the dish together! The fried rice was a perfect addition Kalbi eggs Benedict- very good the Kalbi is super tender and easy to eat - eggs done perfectly too Overall a good experience and we found parking

Scrolling through my recent trip to see if I missed any reviews to be written. How did I not write one for YogurStory? I first discovered them back in February when I was craving ube pancakes. There's a lot of places claiming to offer the best ube pancakes so I thought to give it a try based on the reviews. There was a bit of a wait the first time, where you can join online. But it was too bad. I am SO glad I did because WOW. Wow wow wow! I was NOT expecting the pancakes to taste this freaking good. Don't let all the sauce deceive you into thinking it's just a box pancake mix with a lot of food dye. Also, it appears to be really sweet with it all coated in purple. But, TRUST ME. It was love at first bite. I nearly finished it all by myself but decide to share with the fam. The coconutty sweet potato taste was legit and natural tasting vs covering your tongue in an artificial taste. Absolutely looooooved this that when I went back home in search of Ube pancakes, there was none. So during this trip back for the 4th, I needed to go back for those pancakes. This time, there was no wait. It was around 1:30 on a random Monday and we were seated right away. I already knew what I wanted (obviously) but Hubs read my mind and ordered the short rib kalbi benny (as they were sold out of their corned beef hash). Boy was I glad he did bc "What do you mean I never tried this dish?" There are some favorite go to breakfast places that have been taken over by tourists and long lines which makes me hesitate no matter how much I crave things. But in addition to these ube pancakes and now this short rib Benny, I will gladly wait for them.

I avoided this place for way too long because I thought it was a frozen yogurt shop. Turns out they serve breakfast, lunch, and more. I was seriously impressed by food and service. Went with a group of 10 and we made a reservation a day prior. The portions are huge and absolutely worth the price. Everything we ordered was excellent. It's definitely the kind of meal that makes you want a nap afterward, but it's so good you'll have no regrets. Just know it's popular and busy inside, so expect to park elsewhere and make a reservation ahead of time if you can. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing!!! The show stopper was definitely the UBE PANCAKES :D we shared that between 4 people! Since we all wanted a savory dish too! The food took about 20-30 min but shortly after the service was fast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating arrangements allow for big groups/families to enjoy a nice brunch together![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved that I was able to put myself on the waist list ahead of time via the YELP app bc the wait upon arriving was upwards of 1.5hr!!!

We decided to go early and there was already a line! The wait was about 20 minutes. We are small people so we ordered Ala cart. We love corned beef so we both ordered it. The serving was two generous portions shaped like burgers. It had a crunchy exterior and while it was very tasty we were disappointed that it wasn't homemade corned beef. Still worth ordering. I asked for my eggs to be cooked medium and they were cooked perfectly. I rounded out my breakfast with a side of pancakes. The server checked on us regularly. I also appreciated that she told me the decaf was instant. Parking is a bit of a challenge although I was lucky to get a spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a diner and hold lots of tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

To try and cut down on wait time, add your name to the waitlist! Like most, I came for the ube pancakes but everything was delicious. You'd think the ube pancakes would be too much, but quite the opposite. My group ate every last bite and still crave these pancakes. The eggs benedict was also fantastic. The size of crabcakes was larger than expected and also packed full of crabmeat, not much filler.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went to YogurStory for breakfast around 8:20 am and shortly after that it got very busy with customers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the simple breakfast which included 2 choices of meat, eggs and a starch I ordered bacon, Portuguese sausage, scrambled eggs and hash browns, I thought it would be fresh hash browns from the grill, not pre-made hash browns like McDonald's, even though it was better then McDonald's and it was nice and crispy. My wife had the classic breakfast with 1 choice of meat, egg, and pancakes or French toast she had the pancakes, which she commented I could have made it better? Everyone else around us were eating Ube pancakes, I guess that is the specialty because their pancakes look fluffy as my wife pancakes was pretty flat. Overall the food was good and the service was terrific. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for the restroom the floor wasn't too clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I haven't been to Yogurstory in years and not at the current location in the former Like Like space. I recently went and there was a half hour wait so went to the look at the new businesses across the street in the old Ross to kill time. There was 3 of us so went shared the ube pancakes, and each got our own dishes of prime rib loco moco, kalua pig eggs benedict, and kalbi kimchi fried rice. I got to sample all and they were all good! I'd get any of those again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did take off a star as the bathroom was not in good condition. The soap dispenser was not on the wall and sitting in the counter, non-functioning so no one could really wash their hands.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant is busy so expect to spend a good amount of time waiting to get in and for the food to arrive.

My first time trying YogurStory! I know, I know, kind of sad this place has been around for a while. I've heard good things about them, but never actually had a chance to try them until recently. We came here for brunch, and ordered the eggs Benedict. One was the classic eggs Benedict with fried rice. The other was the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with hashbrowns. Food was very good. I was surprised at the quality of the egg Benedict. We had also ordered hot coffee and an iced coffee. Service was a bit slow. Iced coffee was brought out, but nobody brought out my hot coffee. Our food then arrived, but we weren't given any utensils in which to eat it and it took a while to flag down our waitress for us to get utensils as we stared hungrily at our food. Atmosphere is a casual diner type feel, but was clean. Note this place gets busy very quickly. They don't take reservations, but you can put yourself on a waitlist on Yelp which helps cut down on the time you actually have to wait at the restaurant. Food 5/5, service 3/5.

We added ourselves to the Yelp waiting list and were seated as soon as we checked in! It took a while for someone to take our order but our drinks came out quickly. We ordered an iced honey coffee and a Blue Hawaiian. Both of us really enjoyed our drinks and drank all of it. I ordered an Ube Aloha French Toast. My boyfriend ordered an Oinker with kimchi fried rice. We shared a crab cakes Eggs Benedict with salad and hash browns. Our food took some time to arrive but we were glad when it did because it was all so good!! We took our leftovers in containers, bagged. We had a new server closer to the end of our meal and she was exceptionally friendly, making sure we could order more before the kitchen closed should we want to and refilling our waters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restrooms were clearly labeled and easy to find.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My boyfriend and I were seated at a roomy table where we shared a bench.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really liked eating here!

Solid place. I got the ube waffle, wife got corned beef hash benedict with kimchi fried rice and asparagus. I don't normally get waffles, so take this with a grain of salt, but they were good. On the light, airy side and tasty. I'd get it again. 8.5/10 The corned beef hash and kimchi fried rice were good, kimchi wasn't too hot. This is closer to my usual breakfast vibes, and the kimchi fried rice gives me Big City nostalgia. Solid 8.5/10. Service was coo but the place can get packed.

Do u guys do phone orders?

We currently do not take phone orders. Please visit us at www.yogur808.com to place your take out order!

Does YogurStory take reservations for dining on a Sunday?

It's first come, first served. Reservations required for 6 or more in your party. Enjoy!

What's the average wait time on a Monday morning (around 8 AM)?

I would go on Yelp join the Waitlist when you're ready to go or know when you'll be there. The Waitlist also tells you how busy they are and how long your wait time is. No reservations but the Waitlist is great. Got there, long line of people, walk…

Are they open on New Year's day?

    Yes, we're open!

Do they still not take reservations?

Nope. You sign up on an iPad when you get there and wait for your name to be called.

    Do they take reservations?

To dine at Yogurstory, they do not accept reservations. However, they have implemented a convenient system through Yelp. To secure a spot, you need to sign into their Yelp waitlist. This innovative feature not only displays the current wait times…

Did they change locations? I don't remember it being at this address

    Yes they moved locations.

Are you open New Year's Day?

    Yes until 3:30pm

Are they open on new year's eve?

I am not sure. However with them only open for breakfast and lunch, I say yes. Just give them a call. They are pretty good at answering their phone.

    Do they take reservations?

I don't think so, but they have Yelp waitlist which helps a lot. Believe we only waited 10 mins for our table.

What does it mean if waitlist is closed?

Just means there's no line. You can go there with out waiting.

Do you have to make reservations?

Get on the Yelp waitlist before you head over.

Do you take reservations for 8 or more people?

    yes, call them

    Do they offer to go?

    Yes

Is this business open or relocated somewhere else?

YogurStory moved across the street from their former location. They are now at 745 Ke'eaumoku Street, in the spot of the old Like Like Drive-Inn.

    Is it dog friendly?

    I'm not sure

Where does the name come from? Or what does it mean?

If you look for "FROM THIS BUSINESS" on their Yelp page , click on "read more", they tell you their story under "history"

Does the coffee come with free refills?

    Yes, they do

Do you do take out ordering?

    Yes, they do!

Are you guys open Easter Sunday?

    Yes
