Fro-yo and a cold beer on a hot day!
    Alicia R.

The perfect afternoon treat with littles and a beverage! We love coming here and grabbing a beer from Longboard's and then Fro-Yo from Yogurt Beach and sitting out on the patio. Specifically for yogurt beach, the prices are fair, the options are always great, and the place is clean and well staffed every time I've been there.

For some reason, I never realized we had frozen yogurt in the North Valleys. Now that I know, it is going to be a good summer! After a busy day, my partner craved Yogurt Beach. Lo and behold, we saw one close to us! Upon entering, we were greeted by staff. Longboards Pizza is adjacent and their staff greeted us too. There was so many options for toppings and yogurt flavors. I literally mixed a lot together and it still taste amazing. The temperature of the room was comfortable, not too cold or hot. Noise level was expected for the crowd inside Longboards. It was a Thursday lunch hour, so not too bad.

Always fresh and well stocked. Karen is an excellent ambassador for this location. Everything is weighed, so only grab what you like.

Anything you want to add to your frozen yogurt, they've got it!! All item's are sold by the weight of your finished yogurt selection. In the same facility as Longboard's Pizza in Golden Valley, right off the 395 freeway. Karen is over the top friendly & always anxious to help. They are only 5 minutes North of the Spaghetti Bowl. Give them a try

Alllllllll the stuff. I swear this was the healthiest sugar coma ever!

First time here about a week ago and what a great way to end a big pizza binge in the same building. There are many kinds of frozen yogurt to choose from. I went with the classic of chocolate and vanilla swirled together. Then you load up with toppings or go minimalist and don't. Pricing is paid by weight and volume and it's reasonably priced all the same. Need an easy gift for someone? They have gift cards too! The service was easy and friendly and helpful S well. So if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. It's a fun experience all the way around. Seating is shared with Longboards so it's nice and upbeat and fun all around and that beach theme you love. Can't wait to come back soon!

    This is the yogurt bar.

Chloe was so unbelievably kind to me. She was so kind and caring, her commitment to the job is very noticeable. The decorations make me feel like I am at the beach. The yogurt is so tasty I went back for fourths.

Our go-to place after eating pizza next door! They have good flavors and fun toppings! Service is great and it's nice that we can enjoy it outside! Can't wait to go back!!

It seems like you can find a Yogurt Beach in every other suburban strip mall in the Reno area, but this location not only offered amazing frozen yogurt and a full toppings bar, it was also connected to the Longboards pizza parlour, just to go off the same beachy theme! But I came for the froyo, and I was amazed.. the cookies n' cream was delicious, but I especially liked the peach flavor too, which was surprisingly thick, creamy, yet refreshing! The toppings bar was definitely a cut above too--you'll find your typical fruit, nuts, and crushed cookies/candies, but I also got the brownie bites, which were delectably chewy and chocalatey! This had to be some of the best froyo I've had in quite a while!

October 11, 2019 Friday - 8:00 PM for a treat 2 Adults Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 4 stars Background - Sitting on the couch at home and wanted a cold frozen treat. Here we come. Long Board Pizza their business partner is attached and we visit them frequently. Atmosphere - Simple, to the point type of place. They have a bunch of machines that allow you serve yourself. Tiki and surf board themed to go with their name. The blue glass around the machines popped with color. The biggest issue is there seating area is really shared with Long Board Pizza and they are always packed. Food Treat - Frozen yogurt with ten choices, by the blue tiles and another 2 by the cashier. Clearly they rotate their flavors as I had a very seasonable pumpkin. I was not a big fan of that one. But I really enjoyed their Mountain Blackberry and Salted Caramel. Service - Simple, she said hello and offered us samples. Weighed both cups at the sample time which is nice. Future - Sure.

First time here after soooo long!!! We visited Animal Ark and so decided to have lunch next door and dessert here. I can't remember if they used to have different size cups before, but this time it is only one size. I got kona coffee and blackberry side by side with some toppings. My boyfriend got vanilla and kona coffee. He liked the vanilla but not a fan of kona coffee. I would have to say I felt the same as the coffee flavor was subtle for me. Like I took a bite and didn't think "Mmmm coffeeeee". The blackberry was delish. I finished mine but my boyfriend wasted so much of his because he didn't like the kona coffee. I tried to finish his but I was stuffed already.

We had a family trip to Reno and OH MY GOODNESS!!! What a great place to take the family for some frozen yogurt. They had lots of flavors and toppings galore! The customer service was excellent too! We had a party of 8 and the cashier was so patient with our group. He made sure we were completely satisfied with our yogurt experience .. when we visit again, this place is definitely in our agenda. Thank you!!

My guys and I love Yogurt Beach. In fact, I'd say it's easily our favorite place to stop when we're on a mission for a treat. The wide variety of both yogurt flavors and toppings makes it easy for every to find just the right combination to please their sweet tooth. So it's probably easy to figure out that we were thrilled to see one coming to the North Valleys. We've visited all of the Yogurt Beach locations at least once over the years and have found them to all to be quite consistent in delivering what we've come to expect from the business. Happily, I can say after a few visits to what will from now on be considered "our Yogurt Beach" that the bar continues to be set high. Staff is very friendly and quick to offer samples, as well as the basic run-down to newbies. The place is spotless...spills and drips of toppings are cleaned up so quickly you might think you imagined them. Items are consistently well-stocked and fresh. For me, there is one tiny "not quite 5 stars" issue with this location, and that is seating. They are sharing space with the new Longboards Pizza. Within the Yogurt Beach section, there is just one table. It's bar - height which I personally can't do thanks to a back injury. But more than that, every time we've visited its already been full anyway. I suspect the idea is that folks can grab a table in the pizza side. This has worked fine when we've made a mid-afternoon treat stop, but around meal times we've found it difficult to get a spot over there. They do have an incredible patio that helps solve the issue in nice weather. Overall, that certainly not going to deter us, though. We love this business as a whole and are glad to have them so much closer to home.

As of late, I've been using the shop for me button on the app. I've been pretty happy with the service, I put everything into the cart, pick a time to retrieve my groceries and when I arrive, they bring them out to the car and the service is free if I spend a certain amount. This is my sixth time using this service and I was extremely happy. Today, I ordered about $50 worth of groceries and picked a pick up time at 5 PM. I arrived at 5:35 PM and use the app to notify them. I was there. Came out and told us that they were having an issue and running. It would be another 30 to 45 minutes.... At rush hour, I did not want to go home so I decided to wait. at 6 PM my son went in and complained. Manager explained that they had a new system that was difficult to use and apologized. She gave a $15 store gift card for our inconvenience. About 6:20 PM the order came out to the car and we went home. I saw in the shopping bags was actually pretty abysmal. Most of the vegetables were horrible quality or even damaged. You can look at the pictures. I immediately got in the car and brought the food back to Smith's. the manager acknowledged that quite a few items were poor quality. The roast was probably 50% fat, the squash was obviously frozen, thawed, refrozen as it was squishy and bruised. The manager let me pick out some replacement items, and the produce department was obviously waiting for a new shipment as not only were shelves half empty, but the vegetables on the shelves were really poor quality. The manager popped up with another $15 gift card, and said that I would have to go online to request a refund. The items I could replace, she put in a bag and told me not to worry about. I went through the app and requested a refund for seven items and there was absolutely no issue whatsoever. The automated system even credited five dollars to my account for the inconvenience. I've been shopping at Smith for over 20 years, and they've always had amazing customer service and pretty much no questions Asked refund policy. There's a reason this is my grocery store. Not as well staffed as some of the other grocery stores, but the prices are absolutely meant for people on a budget. Also, it's nice to have a rapport with your baker, butcher, and management. I guess the only thing I could add, is when you do a pick up order, check the quality of items and refused them if they're not up to snuff .

Now as far as their products the produce is always great and the deli counter always has fresh food. The clerks are very friendly. They just need to work on having the shopping carts available for the customers upon entering the store.

The salsa with the chips was 5/5. Super flavorful and seemed home made. My date had the chicken enchilada suiza. I tried some and it was sooooo good. I did have food en y. The creamy green sauce was killer! I had the Mexican taco and Baja fish taco, both of which were fresh and flavorful as well. My only thought here was that the music was a bit too loud. It made talking to my date a little difficult. I'll be back to try all the things. Someone had a bowl of sizzling piled up something that caught my eye. And someone else was celebrating a birthday and they got out the noise crank maker and some sparkler type thing. It was different and Fun!

It came with a small, very small side of rice and beans, but it was plenty of food for me. I even took some home. A picture of margaritas was quite spiny there. I was a little surprised maybe that's what a picture goes for these days beats me, but we couldn't finish it all so that was kind of a bummer. Maybe with a third person we would have. Anyway, the food was tasty. She got a chimichanga and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The waitress was friendly attentive and it was clean.

The cream sauce they used was not a pepper type but so flavourful, but Cholula takes care of everything. The appearance of the fried steak was pretty flat but it was a pounded steak and not ground meat which made it pretty delicious., needless to say the plate was pretty empty after I got done.
