Yogurt Park is a Berkeley classic and definitely worth a visit if you're craving frozen yogurt. There's usually a long line, but don't let that discourage you--it moves surprisingly fast. The frozen yogurt is delicious, with a variety of flavors that all look tempting. I honestly wanted to try them all! One thing to note is that they don't offer flavor samples, so you'll have to make your best guess when choosing. The toppings are charged at $1 each, which felt a bit pricey--I wish they were a little more affordable. Still, the quality of the yogurt makes up for it. Overall, a fun and tasty spot with great frozen yogurt and plenty of flavor options. Just be prepared to commit to a flavor without a sample!
Seems like a super popular spot in the area. There was a line, but it moved quickly. I got a small with sugar free southern pecan & pralines and thought it was just okay because the sugar free taste is not my favorite. Apparently, they allow for multiple flavors in a small cup because I didn't know. The portion was great.
Staple dessert in Berkeley! Used to come here often during undergrad so it was nice to go down memory lane and try it again. We went on a Saturday in January around 8pm and there was a line to order at the window, but it moved quickly. They don't allow for samples, so we ended up getting a small froyo with Crème Brulee and Fresh Strawberry, and added Cookie Dough for $1 extra. Humongous portion size! I shared a small with a friend and that was still a lot. Froyo was super creamy and tasted almost like ice cream. I like how there was a layer of cookie dough in the middle and not just on top - it was a nice surprise realizing halfway through that there was still more cookie dough :) Overall, definitely recommend Yogurt Park for their tasty froyo and generous portion sizes.
This has been on my list for a while now. I'd say it exceeded my expectations. I got the chocolate and raspberry and it was so big. The yogurt was creamy and we couldn't even tell it was yogurt. It just tasted like custard or soft serve. My only recommendation is to have the menu visible from somewhere in line. I wasn't able to see it until I got to the ordering window and I didn't want to hold up the line.

I expected the rocky road to have chunks stuff in it but it was smooth so that was kind of a let down. Went on a Saturday night -- there was a line down the street (it moves quick) so clearly people like it!! There isn't seating in the store (you order from a window outside) but it's right in Berkeley campus so there's plenty of seating on campus within walking distance!
Talk about personality and really tasty yogurt! End my cousin wedding night couple other cousins decided to go foodie tour in Berkeley. Unlike most cities in California most places stay open till 11pm. Main reason University of California is the whole city. Never been so excited to check out college night life. Saturday night school in session. It was crazy amount of people walking about and mention everything on two man streets food and bar/clubs. Yogurt Park right there in all the madness. It almost like drive thru because don't recall much places sit inside. Saturday night there was line but moves really fast. I ended up getting cheesecake with mochi balls and fresh strawberry for toppings. Awesome. It more creamy then typical yogurt TGIF or chain type of yogurt. It been around for while for good reason. If in Berkeley say need stop by Yogurt Park!! Staple in Berkeley!
An absolute staple of Berkeley and, sadly, one of a dying breed of independent food/dessert places around the campus. I have driven an hour just to get an Oreo shake. Service is always prompt, the place clean. It's really about the wonderful ice cream and memories.

They have an order and pick up only type of set up, but it makes ordering and receiving the yogurt so much faster. I mixed vanilla and berry together with oreos as toppings. The small was more than enough for me!
This is a must go! Affordable / cheap for a cup of yogurt and mixed in for whatever you like for a dollar an ingredient! Th way do a good job of putting the toppings in the middle and mixing it and on the top! Love the texture of the yogurt which was pretty thick! We got blueberry yogurt mixed with mochi! Delicious!!
cute window serving froyo in berkeley! this place has been around forever and seems consistently popular among students and locals. there can be a line but it moves fast! they have rotating flavors (check ig for the daily list) and toppings that get layered in. i tried their strawberry shortcake and my friend got the pecan praline! the texture is super thick and creamy, almost more like a soft serve than a traditional froyo. the toppings are super yum and the small size is pretty generous honestly. highly recommend for a fun little treat

Love my Yogurt Park! They were there when my kid was a boy and now he takes his kids there. I usually get the chocolate flavor with the Reese's peanut butter cups topping. I don't know how they do it but after they fill your cup with yogurt they are then able to add toppings to the middle and the top. Magicians lol. Always delicious and they don't disappoint or skimpy. The mini is enough for me. You stand in line at the outside window for your treats. Parking isn't the best but you can find a space on either side of this one-way street if you are patient. Staff aren't really friendly - no hello, smiles or thank you but they are efficient and consistent. Price for a mini with topping was about $6. read more

It's too bad there's not a dine in space but we found a bench outside a campus building across the street. To be concise, there is truly nothing better than yogurt Park on a hot spring day. Standout flavors of the day: mountain berry and cookies and cream with mochi, cheese cake, strawberries, and cookie dough. Exceptional and rapid service. Do not plan to eat nearby as there is very limited seating, walk a few blocks and enjoy on the Berkeley Campus. read more
FROZEN YOGURT BERKELEY STAPLE. AMBIANCE: 4/5 Craving a sweet treat later in the night and decided to try out this place that people have raved about. Located under the bright sign in Berkeley and conveniently off of the college campus. Parking was scarce and the line was quite long that it took over 20 mins just to get to the takeout window, but it sure did not disappoint. SERVICE: 5/5 Staff was very approachable, helpful, and still had good vibes w/ quick service even with the long lines. They were very patient and it was entertaining watching them all make each customized froyo. FOOD: 5/5 This spot offers delicious frozen yogurt w/ different flavors every day and can include any of their wide selection of toppings. The yogurt was quite creamy like soft serve ice cream and was just the perfect level of sweet with my favorite topping of cheesecake bites. The portions are good that serving was more than we thought and well worth the price. OVERALL: 5/5 Completely recommend for your sweet treat needs. We left there so satisfied with our foroyos and can't wait to get some more. This institution definitely lived up to the hype. Come grab a treat! read more
Pros: Quick service! You're able to mix and match the different flavors and toppings at no extra cost! It's always popular and they give you massive portions. Cons: there can be really long lines, especially when the sun goes down. Sometimes you can stop by around 3-6 and there is minimal line. read more
pretty solid yogurt spot, i will definitely be back bc the portions r generous and they definitely know how to include the toppings and have layers for the toppings so you don't run out of any even when you get to the bottom. check this place out! i wish they had more of a variety for their daily rotation but i can't wait to come back and try it soon the workers were nice too read more
We stopped by after lunch since I saw a few people eating their yogurts nearby. I didn't realize that I had this place bookmarked until I looked on Yelp. It's a cute mom and pop shop running since 1977. They've closed the inside, so you have to order at the window. There were a few people waiting in line when we arrived but it moved fairly quickly. We ordered a small with a mix of black berry and vanilla with 3 toppings (mostly nuts) that was an extra $1. I think we could have ordered a mini to share since the size was fairly big and we already had a decent size lunch. The yogurt was very creamy and loved the combo that we picked. I think there were more black berry than vanilla but no complaints here. Love that there's a yogurt spot in Berkeley that inexpensive and delicious. It's open 7 days a week and closes at 11pm most days, and 11:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays, which is great if you're in the area and craving dessert. read more

Solid froyo and changing flavors. Standard flavors are chocolate and vanilla but the other flavors changes all the time, which is disappointing when you find a seasonal flavor you love! Tons of topping choices and prices are solid for the portion size you get. Really creamy and smooth texture. No samples, though. No seating, unfortunately. You order at the counter outside and the line can get pretty long. It does go quickly though. read more
Yogurt Park is a Berkeley staple! Yogurt Park features a rotating menu of unique soft-serve flavors. The flavors are posted daily on their Instagram page: @yogurt_park. There are endless flavor combinations and a boatload of toppings to choose from (my favs are the fresh strawberries and rainbow mochi). Their yogurt is always incredibly smooth and high quality. I especially love that there are many size options because sometimes a "mini" is all you need! Whether it's a warm afternoon or late at night, there will likely be a line spanning the length of Durant Avenue for, what UC Berkeley students call, "YoPo"! It can be quite busy at night as they close at 11:00 pm but the employees always are spirited and quick! Yogurt Park is the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth and hang out with friends! read more
Frozen Yogurt 9.58/10- this was so good and honestly tasted like ice cream! They rotate flavors daily which is pretty cool. I got a size small and it was such a big portion which was awesome. I got the vanilla and cookies and cream and I also tried a little bit of the salted caramel macadamia which was SO good. I'm not a fan of salted caramel but I love macadamia so I had to try it and it was so good - it was so rich in flavor. I also loved the mix of the vanilla and cookies and cream together. The vanilla was really creamy and the cookies and cream flavor was so good. For my topping I got chocolate chips and it was the perfect topping. I loved how they were tiny and they also mixed the chocolate chips right into the frozen yogurt instead of just putting them on top so every bite had chocolate in it. The texture was really good too - so smooth and decadent, not icy like some frozen yogurt places but actually creamy like real ice cream. This place definitely knows what they're doing and I'll definitely be back to try more flavors! This is a frozen yogurt shack which is so cute and convenient for grab and go. Yogurt Park is one of the most iconic food spots in Berkeley. There's always a line at night and they have a great selection of rotating flavors. They have vanilla and chocolate as their permanent flavors, while the other 4 flavors rotate. They oftentimes have one sugar free flavor on their menu and sometimes a low fat flavor too. You can check what their flavors of the day are on their instagram @yogurt_park. Their portion sizes are HUGE - even their smallest size (mini) is very shareable. They also allow you to swirl flavors and to choose any of their toppings you would like to add without extra cost. I find their yogurt to be a little more on the heavy side - a little bit more like rich + creamy soft serve ice cream in opposed to traditional froyo. Because of this, it's not my favorite dessert spot in Berkeley, but that's just my personal preference. I do like how it's in a super convenient location in Southside and even though the lines are long, the line moves fast because it's a quick grab n go. The place is just a takeout window (no indoor shop space or seating), but it has a nice vintage vibe to it. Overall, Yopo remains a staple in Berkeley for a solid reason! Definitely a place to drop by when you're in Berkeley. read more

To be honest, I really do not know what all the hype is about? It tastes basic like any other yogurt shop, and I would not come back here. The ambiance was antique looking, and I am assuming that is what the hype is about?? It was busy, which is probably the norm here, but the student workers handled it well. read more
