Yogurt Park is a Berkeley classic and definitely worth a visit if you're craving frozen yogurt. There's usually a long line, but don't let that discourage you--it moves surprisingly fast. The frozen yogurt is delicious, with a variety of flavors that all look tempting. I honestly wanted to try them all! One thing to note is that they don't offer flavor samples, so you'll have to make your best guess when choosing. The toppings are charged at $1 each, which felt a bit pricey--I wish they were a little more affordable. Still, the quality of the yogurt makes up for it. Overall, a fun and tasty spot with great frozen yogurt and plenty of flavor options. Just be prepared to commit to a flavor without a sample!

Seems like a super popular spot in the area. There was a line, but it moved quickly. I got a small with sugar free southern pecan & pralines and thought it was just okay because the sugar free taste is not my favorite. Apparently, they allow for multiple flavors in a small cup because I didn't know. The portion was great.

Staple dessert in Berkeley! Used to come here often during undergrad so it was nice to go down memory lane and try it again. We went on a Saturday in January around 8pm and there was a line to order at the window, but it moved quickly. They don't allow for samples, so we ended up getting a small froyo with Crème Brulee and Fresh Strawberry, and added Cookie Dough for $1 extra. Humongous portion size! I shared a small with a friend and that was still a lot. Froyo was super creamy and tasted almost like ice cream. I like how there was a layer of cookie dough in the middle and not just on top - it was a nice surprise realizing halfway through that there was still more cookie dough :) Overall, definitely recommend Yogurt Park for their tasty froyo and generous portion sizes.

This has been on my list for a while now. I'd say it exceeded my expectations. I got the chocolate and raspberry and it was so big. The yogurt was creamy and we couldn't even tell it was yogurt. It just tasted like custard or soft serve. My only recommendation is to have the menu visible from somewhere in line. I wasn't able to see it until I got to the ordering window and I didn't want to hold up the line.

Looks better than it tasted :/ not totally for me, the froyo tasted a little too artificial for my liking. I did a combo of a rocky road and vanilla. I expected the rocky road to have chunks stuff in it but it was smooth so that was kind of a let down. Went on a Saturday night -- there was a line down the street (it moves quick) so clearly people like it!! There isn't seating in the store (you order from a window outside) but it's right in Berkeley campus so there's plenty of seating on campus within walking distance!

Talk about personality and really tasty yogurt! End my cousin wedding night couple other cousins decided to go foodie tour in Berkeley. Unlike most cities in California most places stay open till 11pm. Main reason University of California is the whole city. Never been so excited to check out college night life. Saturday night school in session. It was crazy amount of people walking about and mention everything on two man streets food and bar/clubs. Yogurt Park right there in all the madness. It almost like drive thru because don't recall much places sit inside. Saturday night there was line but moves really fast. I ended up getting cheesecake with mochi balls and fresh strawberry for toppings. Awesome. It more creamy then typical yogurt TGIF or chain type of yogurt. It been around for while for good reason. If in Berkeley say need stop by Yogurt Park!! Staple in Berkeley!

An absolute staple of Berkeley and, sadly, one of a dying breed of independent food/dessert places around the campus. I have driven an hour just to get an Oreo shake. Service is always prompt, the place clean. It's really about the wonderful ice cream and memories.

waited 25 min, but that's the fun of it right!? got thin mint and vanilla. lemme just say the thin mint was SO GOOD! tried my friends' flavors: fresh strawberry, ghirardelli chocolate, cappuccino.. all delish (make sure u add the oreos) also, i heard zendaya endorsed this place. is it true? anyways, if i came back to berkeley i'd def come again!

Exactly what a sweet treat at night should be like! Even around 10pm, there were a few student waiting in line before me. They have an order and pick up only type of set up, but it makes ordering and receiving the yogurt so much faster. I mixed vanilla and berry together with oreos as toppings. The small was more than enough for me!

This is a must go! Affordable / cheap for a cup of yogurt and mixed in for whatever you like for a dollar an ingredient! Th way do a good job of putting the toppings in the middle and mixing it and on the top! Love the texture of the yogurt which was pretty thick! We got blueberry yogurt mixed with mochi! Delicious!!

cute window serving froyo in berkeley! this place has been around forever and seems consistently popular among students and locals. there can be a line but it moves fast! they have rotating flavors (check ig for the daily list) and toppings that get layered in. i tried their strawberry shortcake and my friend got the pecan praline! the texture is super thick and creamy, almost more like a soft serve than a traditional froyo. the toppings are super yum and the small size is pretty generous honestly. highly recommend for a fun little treat

I'm rarely in the area but I love this frozen yogurt! They have real quality ingredients, and the value is great. It's too bad there's not a dine in space but we found a bench outside a campus building across the street. Service is friendly and though the line can be long if you soak in the experience and are not in a rush it's no problem. I can't imagine enjoying it in a rush anyway because it's meant to be savored and enjoyed as one of the simple pleasures in life. Other frozen yogurt places these days have an artificial, almost corporate feel about them. I also like how pricing is not based on weight like most other places. It's straightforward, they mix it for you, and it's delicious.

Came by a saturday evening and there was no wait time! I ordered the vanilla soft serve with oreo crumbles and cookie dough. Prior to that I had tried the cookie and butterfinger and I think that was a better combo. The ice cream was great, U wanted to try the cheesecake bites as a topping but they were already sold out. Overall great service and great ice cream for a good price!

The only issue is there's no clear menu posted online, so we walked in completely blind. Their website shows a long list of flavors but not what they actually have that day, so it felt like a guessing game. The line moved really slow because there was only one employee handling everything. She was taking orders, giving samples, answering questions, and ringing people up all at once. She was super friendly and doing her best, but it felt like a lot for one person during a rush and the shop could definitely use more help. The space is really small and tight so it was hard to even see the flavors until we got close to the front. When we finally got up there, a lot of the tubs were already empty which was confusing since most ice cream shops restock. Some flavors I wanted weren't available anymore, and if they're out it would make more sense to just remove them from display. The dirty containers didn't make sense to display. I sampled the jasmine green tea and knew right away I wanted it. It was creamy with a smooth tea flavor that wasn't overpowering. I got a small with half jasmine green tea and half avocado. The avocado was surprisingly really good, super creamy and tasted like a fresh avocado smoothie. Both flavors weren't overly sweet which I liked. My husband wanted cookies and cream but it was sold out so he got chocolate chip instead, which was solid and creamy with good texture. Overall the ice cream itself was good, not the best I've had but definitely not bad. I like that the flavors lean more natural and not overly sweet. I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area, but the experience would be a lot better with faster service and more consistency with what's actually available.

We spotted the Gianduja (Hazelnut & Chocolate) later, and it will be on the list for the next visit. * Piedmont Hazelnut (Nocciola del Piemonte): The overall favorite--rich, creamy, and nutty. * Orange Blossom Honey: Our guest's top pick from the regular menu. He exclaimed, beaming, at least three times how good that flavor was! * King Pluot: One of the special flavors of the day, the gelato captured the taste of summer - bright, sweet, and refreshing. * Black Sesame: I was curious how black sesame would taste in gelato, and I was not disappointed - the flavor was deep and earthy, made with Japanese sesame seeds. Last several times in a row, it's been pretty dang bad, (the potato chips always taste fishy!) but today (8/5/26) it was literally garbage. We had 2 egg salad sandwiches and a jalapeno burger, plus two milkshakes. The egg salad sandwiches had to be straight up tossed out. Just not edible. The egg salad was sooo watery, it was like a soup. Just dripping and running down out of the bread. Also, a HEAVY mustard taste, overpowering everything else. The burger had a piece of something (literally) translucent on it, apparently their idea of a slice of cheese? And the accompanying fries were COLD. The toasted almond milkshake was so runny it was like a flavored water. Not at all a creamy consistency, I don't even think they made it with milk, it seemed to be just a tiny bit of ice cream, some water and a lot of ice cubes (still visible in the shake). Just nasty. The other milkshake seemed ok. Of course, with the order being from DoorDash, it's near-impossible to get any real support, so it's just basically a total loss. I don't know if Fenton's just doesn't GAF, since they're always busy anyways, OR if they need to pay their employees more in order to attract the sort of person who's capable of being trained to care to do things correctly, but it's just really a bummer that such a neat, fun, old legacy business is allowing itself to disappoint customers and turn into a big mess like this. Sad.
