I love frozen yogurt when I'm craving ice cream because it's a semi healthier choice. This was my first time trying this location and although my visit was quick I left satisfied. My friends and I brought our kids and it's in a great add with a place right outside where the kids can enjoy their yogurt and go play. Although the crowds were pretty large, this yogurt handled the mayhem well as they implemented a great system to get us in and out without incident. Its self-serve soft frozen yogurt. They usually have about 10-15 different yogurt flavors (my favorites are cookies & cream, taro, and traditional). There are about 20 or so topping choices, including a decent variety of fruit, cookies, candy, nuts, and syrups. The toppings here were very fresh and well maintained in spite of the mayhem. On a regular day, they charge by the oz and it is pretty reasonable. I'm bummed that prices have increased however, as I remember it costing closer to a quarter per ounce back in the day..... times have changed I guess. read more

Over 10 different types of froyo plus a plethora of toppings. Acourse I chose 5 different types with lychee as the cherry on top. The coconut, caramel pretzeland cheesecake froyo were my three choices. All of them excellent. A hard choice over Cream but sometimes you have venture to this side. Iced milk tea wasn't doing me justice. Walked in and the place is clean, it's hump day in the middle of a work day so there weren't a ton of people. Love Yougurtland! They have the perfect tasting formula for their frozen yogurt. My go to is the Original tart. I also like how you fill it up yourself and can put the toppings on yourself so you can do a combo of different things. They weigh it to charge you and it's not too expensive. I always just get the plain tart frozen yogurt with granola & strawberry boba topping. But one of the days I went in and they had guava pineapple frozen yogurt. OMG I fell in love all over again. I've tried frozen yogurt at malls, and they were either unimpressive or just disgusting... With the great variety of frozen yogurt flavors to choose from, there's definitely something here for everyone. If you're curious about a flavor, be sure to ask for a sample cup (or a few). I prefer frozen yogurt for dessert over ice cream because it feels lighter and is more refreshing (I go for the fruity flavors) but still creamy. The toppings bar is awesome, and they have free water and cups available by the door. There's some indoor and outdoor seating, and parking is a breeze since this location is in a shopping center. So good! I tried this place out FINALLY, I say finally because I can't tell you how many times I've gone by on trips to Target and didn't stop. They will give you tester size paper cups at the asking and when you start testing, it's hard to choose on a flavor because they're all so good. The only drawback for me was trying to get just the right pressure on the lever for the frozen yogurt and getting my dollop into the tester cup, lol. They have plenty of toppings to choose from, so many in fact that I won't list them but I opted for iced animal cookies and fresh strawberries. Per the written newspaper article, Christine Bautista is the owner of this venue. Yogurtland is a welcome addition to Alameda Landing. It is located next door to The Habit Grill and across the street from Spin! Neapolitan Pizza. Sharetea, next to Spin, will be opening in the future. The last time I had a froyo was many years ago when Yummy Yogurt was in the Neptune Plaza on Central Avenue (currently Tea Delight). There weren't too many flavors of froyo back in the days. So coming to Yogurtland is somewhat new to me. Ambiance: Double glass door entrance, wheelchair accessible. Outdoor seating consists of two small round tables, three chairs and large light green patio-type umbrella at each table. Interior on the left side against the wall is a long comfy bench, which seats eight, and four small round tables and four chairs. Rectangular table has two chairs. One wooden booster chair. Large counter is stacked with large and medium size sturdy paper cups. Sign above the cups shows three different sized cups. I did not see any small cups. Middle section has two small tables with two chairs each. Maximum seating: 18 people. Right side has the various frozen yogurt (at least 16 different flavors). Above the line of dispensing yogurt machines are illustrations of the different flavors. About a feet away are the assorted toppings (fresh chopped fruits from Dan's Produce, pop bubbles, gummi worms, cookies, chocolate chips, M&M's, etc.) on display, and candy sprinkles. Scales are in front of the cash registers. Employee gave me four mini paper cups to sample whatever flavor froyo I desired. Strawberry was okay, the mango was very good, strawberry lemonade (gluten free) and taro were yummy. I had a slight brain freeze consuming the froyo samples too quick. Customer service: friendly and very helpful. Cashier mentioned something about an app on smartphone. Cleanliness: Grade B+. Could be a little better, mainly the floor. Minor detail. Eats: A melange of three flavors (mango, strawberry lemonade and taro), topped with strawberry, passion fruit and mango pop bubbles, strawberry and candy sprinkles. Pop bubbles are miniature and similar to boba in shape, but filled with a little sweetness. Cost: 45¢ for an ounce of yumminess. I did not fill my medium size cup to full capacity. I had 9.6 ounces of deliciousness of froyos and toppings - $4.32. Value is great and definitely better than a business in Alameda Southshore that serves gelato on a popsicle stick with toppings. Return trips: Most definitely, as I am eager to try other flavors, especially the green tea matcha. Besides, Alameda Landing and its businesses are not that far from my home. read more

Who doesn't love Yogurtland! Don't come here expecting yogurt. It's frozen yogurt you will get. They have sample cups for you to explore the many options of frozen yogurt flavors. They even have specialized flavors designed for special occasions, like a new movie release (Trolls for instance). Which is great for kids! I love how the incorporate current things into their flavors. Never a dull moment at Yogurtland. Seating at this location is limited. However if you don't mind sitting next to a stranger, just make room for everyone to enjoy their frozen yogurt. The topping options are never ending. From fruit, to cookies and candy, and even cereal! Yes, you can sprinkle some captain crunch on your frozen yogurt! The best place to be a kid again : ) oh and fyi: you pay by weight.
