Then she told us to stand off to the side because we were trying to sign up for the reward program and then I took a single bite of my bowl while my boyfriend was signing up she called us out and said we had to wait... Meanwhile everyone else in line is taking bites of their bowl before they paid too. Super unfriendly and rude. The mandarin oranges and lychee looked wrinkly and old and the mandarin oranges taste like metal. I will not be returning to this location as long as Monica is working. I love yogurtland but worst experience I've had here. Super disappointed in their management. read more

I come here every week since it's the closest to my house. The staff is always great. The problem is not that they only have 5 or 6 flavors, it's the fact that those same flavors rarely EVER change. Chocolate, vanilla, cheesecake, cookies and creme, strawberry and they did add a brown sugar recently which is just ok. I know, boring flavors. No cookie dough, red velvet, mint cream, peanut butter, white chocolate peppermint, banana foster, strawberry cheesecake or anything very exciting or different. The strawberry and the cheesecake doesn't taste the same as the other Yogurtlands, which I find is odd. The strawberry is a darker color and taste more tart than the other locations. Hopefully they will change the flavors a little more frequently since I'm not the only one that I see that has complained. All the other Yogurt-lands have 10 to 12 choices at all times that constantly change. Hopefully this Yogurtland will get with the program. read more

Who doesn't love Yogurtland??? I usually get Fro-yo when I get tired of getting boba multiple days in a row and thank goodness for this self-service based establishment. This location is smaller compared to other Yogurtlands and thus, the flavor selection is a bit limited, but if you are like me and usually get plain tart, then you should be okay for the most part (unless the machine breaks down lol). One thing I did notice here is that they have these shakes that you can get. You pick a cup size and that's what you pay for. You can pretty much determine how much vanilla or chocolate you want to the put in the cup and the rest can be filled with whatever toppings you want. I tried a sip of the vanilla from my brother's drink and it was okay lol. Personally, I'd rather just stick to their yogurt. Overall, I'd recommend trying out any Yogurtland if you haven't had frozen yogurt yet! If you love having a big selection for flavors, then don't go to this location lol. read more

I've only been to this Yogurtland a few times, but I have to say that it's always clean and inviting (with their bright lights). The location is quite small in comparison to the other ones I've been to, and there aren't chairs and tables inside to enjoy your yogurt. Instead, there are lots of chairs and tables ... outside. Because the store is so small, when I came here for the National Yogurt Day, the line was out the door! It took about an hour and fifteen minutes (in which I could have been studying!) before I could get in and get my free yogurt. They could only let five people in at a time because of how small the store was. But the flavors keep changing which makes me want to come back every couple of weeks and they always manage to make even the weirdest flavors appetizing! You have to ask for them, which is fine except we were in a hurry and the employees were helping a large party pay for their yogurt so they just ignored us when we tried to ask for sample cups. The flavors this visit were fine. The specialty flavors included Madagascar vanilla, which was good and the watermelon sorbet, which was also very good but clear they just added a ton more sugar to make up for the less creamy taste of it being dairy-free. There are not tables to sit inside so be cautious of that. Fortunately for us the weather was very nice out so sitting outside was no problem at all. We will probably be back to this location again since it is in the same complex of a lot of our favorite places to eat. See you there! read more

Being that I pass by this place and glance inside almost every day, it's disappointing that this location is consistently below standard. The inside is usually somewhat dirty (sticky floors, unwiped countertops, unstocked sample cups, etc) and half of the time, there isn't even an employee in sight.. probably hanging out in the back due to the lack of customers they get; understandable, but incredibly unprofessional. As much as I enjoy Yogurtland, the general lack of discipline in this branch definitely doesn't make me want to bring my business here. read more

It's the closest Yogurtland to UC Irvine - so that's always a plus! The flavors are fresh and there's always no issue with any machines being broken down or out of service like other YL places I've gone to. The only downside is that there are eight flavors they rotate through - whereas other locations offer much more. It's possible that this is due to the small footprint of the store. The toppings here are fresh and plentiful as well. Employees are friendly. Lots of outdoor seating around the store as the general area is a food court haven. Not many flavors here. There was no one up front so I had to reach over the counter for a sample cup. I came to try out the new shakes-I got an email about them this month, but was surprised to find out that they started serving them in December?! But only at certain locations. I had a reward for a shake for 99 cents, so I used that, but they are normally $2.49. That's a super good price because you can fill up the entire thing and put toppings, and I think you get more food than if you got a cup of yogurt for the same price. There's only two flavors-vanilla and java-but they are both yummy. I recommend mixing them together. I only ended up drinking from the top of the cup to the lid because it was thick and dense, and started to get too sweet. Also, my stomach started feeling the pains from the dairy. read more

I love this place! I have enjoyed the frozen yogurt from this location in Irvine (Close to UCI) for the past couple of years and have not been disappointed! Following a car accident, I began ordering it by delivery, which worked out so well I often still do! Even by delivery, the staff still takes the time to package it well and ensure the order is correct! In addition to the place itself and its yogurt, the staff is fantastic and very personable!! In fact, from my occasional phone calls asking if a specific flavor is available, I've found that more than one staff member literally knows who it is and greets me by name before I even have a chance to tell them! They even remember my usual order. This kind, personable attitude is something that is far from the norm in this day and age! Their consistent, kind demeanor reminds me of what things must have been like ages ago! Long before, so many acted entitled, too often treating the people serving them as if they were insignificant! Serving the public is a tough job, and when it's performed at this high level, I am incredibly impressed! I have to admit that while I don't have impossible or unrealistic expectations for any establishment, I do have relatively high expectations that need to be met before I feel comfortable writing glowing reviews that others may use when deciding where to go. That said, this place, its yogurt, its flavors, and its amazing staff far surpass those expectations! My sincerest thanks to all of you at the University Center Yogurtland for your hard work and simultaneous positive demeanor that, IMO, goes unrecognized far too often! I came here on National Yogurt Day for the free five ounces haha. We arrived at 3:40pm and the promotion started at 4pm. After waiting in line for 2 hours we got it! The amount of selection is pretty small bc the shop is small but oh well as long as they have strawberry and vanilla! I don't remember the last time I went to a froyo store but their toppings are amazing! Popping boba, cheesecake bites, cookie dough, fruit, Oreos, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and so much more sign me up!!! This is one of the tiniest Yogurtland's (if not THE tiniest!) - It replaced what used to be a gelato place next to Cha for Tea in the University Center of UCI. I came on a random afternoon with my boss and coworkers so it wasn't too crowded, but I can only imagine the madness this place must experience at night. The yogurt selections were far more limited than any other location since they seem to have less machines. There's only one cash register too and the toppings bar was very messy.
