    Ham and cheese croissant

Came here this month and got 2 croissants and 1 donut and threw them all away after take my first bite of my croissant there was a literal piece of METAL INSIDE. The back must be kept extremely dirty and unorganized if they're this incompetent. Always see this place and unfortunately decided to try it for the first time and only time because I am never going back and wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. There's a better donut shop near the freeway just down the road and another better donut shop down harbor both 2-4 min away. Go somewhere else and avoid pieces of metal!

    7 dozen assorted donuts!

I called ahead and ordered 7 dozen assorted donuts. When I arrived she put the boxes together so fast! The donuts were a really good selection of assortment and they were so fresh! I got them on a Tuesday and the donuts were still fresh on Thursday. She even included Apple fritters and bear claws! Also, she threw in 5 bags of donut holes. We are so grateful! Always good service when I come here, for donuts or yogurt.

This is now called Donuts and More because they've got some cake, croissants, and frozen yogurt. Regular donuts are mostly 75 cents and up for the fancier ones. They have places to sit so it's a popular hangout for the local Mexican community, and they family that owns and runs this speak Spanish. it's funny when they look at me. Once the mom asked me what I wanted in Spanish, and I spoke back in English, though I know enough Spanish to get into trouble. I like that they have a lottery reading machine since I don't trust convenience store workers telling you if you won or not...not after that 60 Minutes segment on how lots of them habitually lie. Anyway, it's near some of my favorite places to hang out, so I am a regular. And my favorite donut, when they have it...is Red Velvet. It's not as evenly textured as a cake, but delicious anyway. Just watch how many you eat...too many carbs are bad. Just one or two a week typically on a Sunday for me...not too bad he he.

    Old-Fashioned

Basic variety of donuts, done averagely for the most part. Nothing fancy, nothing unique. One that is done well, their Maple Bar -- savory dough meets sweet, extra-mapley glaze, not heavy or oily. Old-Fashioned is too sweet, light on the buttermilk. Ham-Cheese Croissant is flat, greasy, thin on ingredients. They have a regular group of middle-aged clientele that come here for cheap coffee and and scratcher lottery tickets. It's kind of depressing. Service is adequate, but the owners are definitely not chatty folks. Dining room is dimly lit at night, very basic, even a little sketchy looking. It has a lone flat screen with the news on. It's just not the cheery place I prefer go to for froyo. In fact, I've never seen anyone getting froyo here. It's not a bad donut place, if you're in the area. But there are better donut shops not too far away.

When we ordered the cinnamon roll, there was no option to heat it up, so we thought they would have done it already. When it was served, it was rock solid. So, we asked them to heat it up. However, after a few minutes, it still wasn't that gooey and the inner core was still pretty tough. Perhaps they could have warmed it up so that it was evenly softened. Overall, the cinnamon roll was alright. It was a brioche roll so you would think it might be lighter and fluffy, but ours was pretty dry. However, the cream on top was insanely good. It carried the roll. The hazelnut twist was kind of what you would expect. A twisted pastry but with a hefty amount of hazelnut-chocolate spread thru the layers. We sat in a little nook, where there was a magnetic black board, where there were word tiles you could rearrange in any way. It was a nice place to just look around at all the sentences the community wrote. Chess tables were also available as extra seating. Overall, the service was good, but could be better when warming up pastries, so that the customer can enjoy them properly!

I've…read morenever had a bad experience here before, the food has always been great, and the staff has always made us feel welcomed and taken care of. This last visit was unfortunately very different. We came in with a fairly large party, and we completely understood that accommodating a group our size is a lot of work. When we got in line, the employee asked how many people were in our party, which made sense. However, we were then told that we could not all pay separately. This was confusing because payment is taken before you even sit down, so it's not like we were trying to split a bill afterward. Rather than make a fuss, we combined everyone's orders onto one card, totaling around $400. The food and drinks came out fairly quickly, which we appreciated. The reason I felt compelled to write this review, though, was because of how rude one particular employee was during the experience. She was wearing patriotic cat ears and appeared to be one of the baristas. One of my friends ordered a latte with alternative milk, but it seems the order may have been entered incorrectly. I've worked in the coffee industry myself, so I understand mistakes happen all the time, and remaking a drink is usually not a huge issue. Instead of handling it kindly, the employee responded with, "That's how it was put in, the request time has passed, that's our policy," in an incredibly dismissive and rude tone. We were honestly stunned. My friend, visibly uncomfortable, just quietly said "Okay," and the employee walked away. Nothing was offered to make the situation right. This happened after we had already spent hundreds of dollars and tipped before even being served. I'm not someone who enjoys complaining or writing negative reviews, but the interaction completely changed the experience for our entire group. What's most disappointing is that the refusal itself wasn't even the main issue, it was the attitude and apparent enjoyment in being dismissive over a very small and understandable mistake. I'm writing this mostly out of disappointment because I truly loved this place. I also think it's important for larger parties to know ahead of time that there appears to be a policy limiting payment methods, even though I've personally visited before with smaller groups where separate payments were allowed. I genuinely hope this was just an off day, because Eller Bakery has been a place I've loved supporting for a long time.

I went on a Friday night and it was VERY lively! There was a band playing by the bar and it was packed! People were drinking, dancing, hanging out. All of this is happening in a supermarket! Lots of food vendors to check out and all of it looked delicious! I don't remember the names of the places my friend and I ordered food from, but I had a chile relleno burrita, seafood cocktail, and pozole. I've never really had chile relleno, so I decided to just go for it and try something different even though there were other options that were more my preference. It was alright. Good thing it was only $5. The seafood cocktail was delicious! They did not skimp on the seafood and everything in it tasted so fresh. Pozole wasn't terrible, but just like my burrita, it was a bit on the bland side. Maybe my palate skews too heavily towards salty, but I felt like a little salt here and there would've really improved the flavors in everything we ordered. Overall the quality/freshness was there! Regarding the market part, nothing special. Maybe a little more selection than your typical Northgate, especially in the liquor department. Their wall of tequila was impressive. I will definitely be back again to try the other foods! In fact, I may just come all the way out here to do grocery shopping from time to time. I saw a guy doing some shopping with a cocktail in his cart and I want to live that life. Bro definitely had the right idea.

During my recent visit, Wendy at cashier station 5 on 6.13.2026 at around 7:30pm provided extremely disrespectful service and openly stated that she did not care enough to learn the pricing codes while scanning items. Fortunately, the employee assisting with bagging demonstrated far more professionalism and took the initiative to correct the mistakes caused by Wendy's lack of attention and concern. I hope management addresses this issue, as customers deserve courteous service and confidence that they are being charged accurately.
