I took my daughter in here today for a special celebration and we were greeted by a tall young man sweeping the floor as we entered. Maybe he was busy or maybe it had been a long day but whatever it was, we didn't feel welcome. Beyond a warm greeting, the employees should really be promoting flavors and ENGAGING WITH THE CUSTOMERS! I guarantee you that if someone had exuberantly greeted me and then made a flavor suggestion or even asked what I like to top my yogurt with, I would have welcomed the conversation. That said, I stumbled upon the Purple Yam on my own and it truly is tasty! I'm not a big toppings person but every time I come in, I always notice the toppings are all filled and tidy. So, someone is bringing their 'A' game in the cleaning department. The one thing I will say I've noticed when I enter an establishment where teens are running the show....they just need more customer service training. I've made a career out of training people in the art of delivering high-caliber customer service but it just seems like what should really be a no-brainer, actually is the quality most lacking in the service industry. It's easy. Smile, be genuine and appreciate the customer. Treat them the way you would want them to treat your grandparents and you can't go wrong. So glad to finally have a Yogurtland in town. If you have been to one, you've been to all. They have the standard flavors and toppings. The seating area seems a little smaller than usual. There were not enough chairs for all the customers to sit. They have the yummy strawberry water (complimentary) at the entrance. I didn't have any but the kids raved about the flavors, peanut butter and salted caramel, Hershey Chocolate milkshake and French Vanilla and Strawberry. The location was very clean and the music they play was upbeat. I will definitely be back when I'm in the mood for something sweet if they carry a non dairy flavor! read more

This was a horrible experience. As we walked in, the "employees" were horsing around. As far as yogurt choices go, half were empty. The independent bottles of nuts were empty and the bottled syrup choices were sticky and almost empty as well. As customers came in, I counted 5 groups of people who said "hello!" as no employees were seen behind the counter. And the clincher? The yogurt was below mediocre. Great flavors. Lots of yummy toppings. I liked how the signs had the flavors posted as well as the ingredients. For example, contains dairy, milk, etc. Hope the signs are still the same. We went to the Grand Opening back in April. Glad we went. You could get all the toppings you wanted. Only problem was that we didn't do the yogurt part right so we couldn't fit all the toppings we wanted because we had got too much yogurt. Keep an eye out for coupons in the mail. It is really beginning to be ridiculous. I have written a review in the past, hoping this place would get their act together and improve. Sadly, they have not. I received an email yesterday saying it was double point day. It's been a while since I have gone, but I figured I would give them another chance. They advertise their opening time as noon. Every time I have gone at that time, they are NEVER open. This time, I waited until 1:45 in the afternoon, and what did I find? They were NOT open. Seriously, what a joke this place is! If you can't open at the time you say you will then shut down your business or fire your incompetent staff and start over with reliable and responsible people. Or better yet, let Blitzers from across the freeway take you over. At least every time I have gone there, it's open business during their posted hours. If your business can operate on the minimal hours you are open, then you are obviously overcharging for your product. It's pretty apparent you do not care about your customer base. read more

Didn't have sample cups, which was a first for me in a yogurt place like this. My wife had to raise her voice to get an employee to assist us since we didn't see anyone when we walked in and were having some confusion over the yogurt machines, etc. Floors were pretty dirty. My daughter needed to use the restroom at some point and the bathroom had a piece of paper over it stating it was an employee bathroom, so we needed to leave to go somewhere else. There were a lot of flavors that weren't available or weren't working correctly. Even though we asked the young lady for help and she did her best, the whole experience was not what we have ever experienced in any yogurt place like this. I also was disappointed with the plain yogurt. It seemed watered down and didn't taste as good as other Yogurtland or similar concept type of stores. I also had a difficult time figuring out what toppings were what because the signage didn't seem correct for some of the options. I ended up putting a topping on that ended up being something I really disliked but I decided not to say anything. The workers there seemed pretty young, and although they were friendly when we needed something, it was actually a little hard to know if someone was an employee because they all had regular clothes on, no name tags, or company T-shirt to know who worked there and not. It seemed like when we arrived that there was only one girl and from what little bit of the conversation I heard she seemed to convey she didn't know what she was doing or was overwhelmed by herself. I understand the guidelines the location has to follow in order to reduce the spread of the covid-19. However, the staff is not knowledgeable in correctly following sanitary procedures. So this employee was wearing gloves and putting the toppings in my yogurt. I was also given gloves at the entrance and handed my cup to me. Which is fine. But this employee also happens to have their phone on the counter and they put it in their back pocket after handling food and still wearing gloves. What's the point of even wearing gloves if their phone is packed with germs and they don't even change their gloves?! How is this going to reduce the spread? Management please! read more

We will be calling speaking to the manager yet again. There is a certain male employee with red hair who every time we have gone has completely ignored customers. Instead he is on his phone. The business is ALWAYS out of hot chocolate syrup and hard shell toppings. This visit was no different. Same male employee no toppings, no lids and refused to open the restroom for paying patrons including a 5 yr old boy who asked to use the restroom we have used it several times. So I came here with my dad and mom last night my dad is diabetic and wanted to eat some sugar free ice cream. The only option they had was strawberry banana. When my dad asked for the ingredients they said they didn't know what it was but directed him to the website to find out. He ended up passing on the yogurt . After he did his research he discovered there was 7 grams of sugar per half cup .. so apparently it's not sugar free. This is false advertisement and they need to be displaying it for those who are diabetic. I wish people were more mindful . Overall, a great froyo shop. Here's the deal with it, though - their prices are reasonable, and their flavors are pretty good, but there's ONE thing that really kills me EVERY time I walk into this place: they put these RIDICULOUS decorative glass panels behind the machines (you can see it in the pictures) so that if you want to do anything to move around near them, you have to walk all the way through the line and around. The ease-of-access is just awful. I get that they're trying to do something with aesthetics, or with flow of traffic, but in practice, it's horrible. If they could get someone from management or ownership on board with realizing how bad it is, maybe they could remove them. It really creates major traffic jams with the physical layout of the location. Honestly, I like the product, but more than once I've thought twice about going here, simply because navigating the inside of the location is a struggle. read more
