After having been recommended Hawkins by several locals, I decided to make the drive out to see what it was all about. Safe to say, I was not disappointed at all! The drive-thru line went by fast considering how busy they were. The service was quick and friendly! They have limited seating but it seems like most people do take out or drive-thru. Hawkins has an extensive menu, ranging from burritos to burgers and a many different drinks. It is a bit on the pricey side as two burgers with drinks and fries ended up being over $20. The burgers were delicious! Their fry sauce was great too. I can see what the hype was about and how addicted some of the locals are to Hawkins. All in all, would recommend checking out this place! Can see myself coming back to try out other items on the menu.

Hawkins Pac-Out was unexpectedly one of our favorite meals in Boise! We came as a small group visiting from Houston, TX to go snowboarding at Bogus Basin. After a long day snowboarding, we decided to give these burgers and shakes a shot. It just so happened that this place is directly across the street from where we rented our snowboards. This small little drive thru is right by a gas station so we weren't expecting much, but honestly the burgers, fries/tots, and shakes hit a home run to flavor town! The hot mama burger was my favorite bc the jalapenos gave it a small kick. Pair that burger with perfectly crispy tater tots, and a thiccc (w/ 3 c's) reese's peanut butter shake, and I was in heaven after snowboarding. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, so please go support this local business! Side note: Whoever took our order in the drive thru was hilarious! Her energy was so genuinely happy, and her positivity made our experience that much better. I would come again just bc of her drive thru service. Thank you for strictly following covid precautions as well.

This place has always been pretty good. I got the Morning Slammer breakfast burrito. Everything was cooked good. I could taste all the different ingredients. It wasn't all glopped together. The presentation was good. For the most part everything I've gotten here in the past has been good. Especially the shakes. I'm not sure about the fries though. Last time it seems like the quality wasn't there. Maybe they changed how they do the fries. Other than that, This place is pretty solid.

Checking out local coffee joints is always fun for me so I stopped in today for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. The coffee shop is smaller, more intimate. I love the setting of this place. It looks like a log cabin. There's a few tables to sit at, comfy chairs to chill and enjoy your drink. All it's missing a fireplace. I could sit in front of the fireplace, sipping on my coffee for hours. The most perfect way to enjoy your coffee. There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There was a couple drinks that she was making for guests ahead of me. There was also a gentleman waiting to order and someone was also in the drive thru. I didn't mind waiting, it gave me some time to look over the drink menu and goodies that were available. I appreciate that they have a fun Valentines menu out. They also have quite a few speciality drinks. It's fun to step outside of your normal drink once in a while so I grabbed the Lucky Moose today. Since they have a great variety of sugar free syrups, I was able to get my drink sugar free. The Lucky Moose is a vanilla, caramel and Irish cream breve. I was kinda nervous having all these different flavors in one drink but it was worth a shot! My drink was tasty! The flavors all together are a little different but good. I am happy that I got to try it but it's probably something I won't get again. Maybe I'll do one less flavor next time. The breve was creamy. The flavors were noticeable. The espresso was bitter but balanced. It was a great iced breve. This place would be fun to chill at when the weather is nicer. There's tables and chairs outside with a nice awning. Grab a slice of pizza next door and then grab a goody to snack on as a dessert with an iced coffee. Talk about a good afternoon! I look forward to coming back and grabbing another drink from this joint. Everything about today's visit was great.

Let me start my saying that is such a beautiful shop- they have indoor and outdoor seating, and everything is comfy/cozy, and welcoming. The staff is what really made the experience amazing though. It was our first time and they were so patient and gave local favorites, and I will openly say the coffee was strong, so if you like sweeter coffee, definitely ask for only 1 shot of espresso or extra syrup. My son got a mocha and it was a little strong for his liking, so they offered to remake it. Which was so sweet of them. They were truly concerned and wanted to make sure we enjoyed everything. The banana bread and raspberry scone were delicious too. Everything was fresh, the coffee was delicious, and I would go back just for the incredible service and space. If you're near the area definitely go check them out. Such a sweet find and can't wait to go back.

When we…read morearrived, it was absolutely pouring, and being from the Pacific Northwest, we didn't think twice about waiting in line .As soon as the rain let up, though, the line grew dramatically, so we were glad we had stuck it out. The bakery itself is small, but the display case is anything but. It's packed with beautifully crafted pastries, each one more tempting than the last. Honestly, everything looked worth trying. We settled on the Rose Croissant and the Lox Croissant Sandwich, and both were excellent. The rose croissant was a standout with the rose flavor delicate yet present in every bite, which is rare for floral pastries. It never became overpowering or faded into the background or tasted artificial. The true star of the meal, however, was the lox croissant sandwich. It was absolutely stellar and one of the best savory pastries we've had in a long time. The coffee was just okay, but that was fine because the pastries completely stole the show. The staff worked quickly despite the steady stream of customers. There is a bit of seating both indoors and outdoors, although most people seemed to be taking their orders to go ,perhaps because of the weather. If you're visiting, come for the pastries. They're absolutely worth the wait.

Just a heads up: it gets very crowded and busy, so I'd recommend arriving early or going in with a little patience. Parking on this area is so much more convenient than parking in the heart of downtown. I got myself a front row spot that was nicely shaded. That shaded spot is prime parking! The first thing you notice about the joint is the big windows of this venue. I love all the views you can enjoy while sipping on your drink from inside. And I appreciate the tables they had outside. You can enjoy your drink out in the nice weather like some of their customers were doing. Walking in, this venue is small. I actually love the size of it, it's quite personal. There is a big coffee bar you can sit at by the espresso machine. There were plenty of tables to chill at. And the big windows let in so much natural lighting. I love the simplicity of this space, it's not overwhelming like some shops are downtown. I was greeted by a handsome face behind the counter. I ordered my usual drink, a small iced americano with room for cream with him. I did ask for their sugar free options but none were available. The sweet barista did offer to make a honey syrup for my drink and I took her offer on it! I'll take honey any day. My drink was fabulous. It was perfectly balanced in espresso, water, honey and half and half. I did add my own packet of sweetner for a little extra kick of sweetness. I do like my drinks a little sweeter but I don't want the extra syrup so it's perfect. They made me a great cup of coffee! I wish this joint was a little closer to the salon I work at. I walk to a lot of different coffee spots by us and Pine would totally be one I'd hit up. I will have to leave my house a little earlier so it gives me a couple extra minutes to stop by this place to get my morning drink. I look forward to stopping by for more afternoon pick me ups soon.
