a long row of sushi on a black plate
    Holly C.

I'm giving if 5 stars for excellent quality, consistency, and such lovely service. If I could dock it a quart star I would for ambiance. Don't get me wrong, it's a fine restaurant, very clean and well taken care of. I just wish it was a place to go and sit at the bar, sip on sake before and after dinner and have a romantic evening out. It could be! But I guess that's not what they're going for. We love our service. She always remembers us and she is so on point. Food service is timely as well. We eat a lot of sushi. When we moved here we thought we'd have to go to buffalo for sushi but even the biggest names in sushi in buffalo aren't as good (or consistent) as Yokoso. We can't go without ordering the shrimp shumi. Then we just get sushi or Nigiri. I really appreciate their mackerel, which is a hard fish to get right. The salmon melts in your mouth. Very good quality on their fish. Highly recommend.

We were on a ride trip and saw that this restaurant had good reviews. We walked in close to closing time and we were greeted with a friendly smile from the staff. The restaurant was quaint, welcoming and accommodating to my gluten dietary needs. The food and service were excellent and we didn't feel rushed at all. Everyone in our party loved the food they ordered. I would highly recommend if you ever in town.

Not a bad stop, but nothing I would go out of my way for either. My wife and I asked for hibachi and were given a little hassle about it, but they did seat us there. Everything was just ok. The salad, chicken, soup... all of it. Not bad by any stretch, but also not special either.

This is like a 3.5 star for me or weak 4. Hibachi chef was an awesome showman on top of a great chef. The 22min wait for the table to warm and him to finish the other table wasn't awesome. I'm not taking away from them for that because it was later in the evening and he seemed to be the only one. I just feel bad for the teenage date that was there already waiting with empty drinks before we were seated by them, who knows how long they were already there waiting. They have a top notch bartender. They made an awesome drink with a lot of components just right. It could have turned into a sugary mess, but it wasn't at all. YUMMY! Also showmanship on that was grest as well. It comes out in a cool flaming volcano glass that's huge :) it was only like $13 too. I loved and finished the onion soup ,I rarely have more than a spoonful or 2 so that speaks volumes. The broth was very savory and had a slight heat to it. The chicken hibachi was one of my favorites. The chicken, rice, and mixed veggies were cooked perfectly. I loved the mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli in it (I RARELY eat broccoli in Asian food). The waitress wasn't really on her A game. Maybe it's because they were closing in 2hrs or because they just finished a big bday party for little girls. I'm not faulting them too much on that, I understand. I know this isn't classy to say, but the only other con (for me) is that they don't really have a wide selection of things other than hibachi or sushi. I asked for other dipping sauces like hot oil, peanut oil, something like general tsos...ANYTHING to give me some variety in flavor and was met with blank stares. I'm not into the white hibachi sauce or ginger. So the down side was a lot of the same flavor for me. None of the appetizers looked good to me either and the salad they gave was HEAVY ginger. No thanks on that, my friend ate it for me. He's crazy about ginger and even ate my ginger dipping sauce after he plowed through his so we are polar opposites on that. This was my 2nd visit, my first visit was maybe a 3 star due to lack of variety and me not getting anything from the bar. Will I race back? No. Will I avoid it? No. Will I recommend the hibachi show and flavor ? Yes. Will I recommend their bar? YES!

Really big drink for two. We each got one lol

They say you only need two people to get hibachi but that's not really true. They will sit you there and stall waiting around for others to come in and get hibachi too. Chef was great, show could have been better, probably wasn't because there were only 4 of us. Food was very good

We went to Yokoso recently and just tried the sushi. I will review again when I try the hibachi as well. This place is only 1 week new so I was Leary and wanted to wait a little longer to let them work out their kinks, but I'm so glad I didn't wait . Wow their sushi was fresh and so filling . They stuff the roll full with very fresh fish . We had the lunch special which is three or 2 rolls at a great price . I also had a special TNT roll which was delicious . The place it self is very clean, they had 5 hibachi grills as well, 2 larger tables for the bigger crowds could seat about 20 people at the bigger ones and 10 at the smaller table. Looks like it would be a great time. The people were having a blast with their chef, and when the food was served you could hear a pin drop because they were all busy eating which is a good sign. I would highly recommend their sushi . I will be back !!

We sat down for lunch. It was perfect! The food arrived quickly, was delicious, and the prese tation was phenomenal. My mom and I both got shrimp bento boxes, and for dessert we got their mochi ice cream. The atmosphere is nice too, with a beautiful renovation. You cannot tell the location used to be a pizza hut. It would be perfect for a date night.

The ingredients always taste and feel very fresh, the proportion of rice to fish is always perfect and it's very easy to eat with chopsticks and doesn't fall apart. This is always my first choice any time I'm in the mood for sushi, the top quality has proven to be very consistent! I would say the Hamachi Nigri and Romantic Roll are probably my favorites, but I really enjoy exploring their menu too since everything is so good. My husband loves the Sweet Potato Roll best (: The service is always great. We are a little more on the shy and quiet side but every time we go, the people there are super kind, friendly, attentive and always have a greeting and a goodbye. It really makes you feel valued. We made sure to order a lot of takeout here during the pandemic, because I don't know what I would do if we ever lost this place.

Ichiban was on my list to visit for a long time. We decided to check out their Titanic boat and…read morecompare it to those we've had at other places. On Sunday around seven, the restaurant was practically empty. Sushi boats typically contain sashimi, nigiri, and at least two special rolls selected by the chef. The Titanic at Ichiban comes with a Christmas Roll (spicy crunchy tuna, avocado, red tobiko) and a Honado Roll (tempura fried roll with spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese). We asked whether it's possible to have a roll without cream cheese. It turned out we couldn't substitute the Honado Roll. So, we asked just to omit the cream cheese. A while later, our server came back with a proposal: for an extra charge, we could choose any other roll we wanted. By that time, we decided to have the original version of the Honado Roll with cream cheese. So, there was a bit of a hitch right at the start. With the Titanic boat, you choose between a miso soup or a salad. The soup was too salty but generally tasty. Now, very briefly about the sushi itself. We enjoyed almost everything. The Christmas Roll was very good. The salmon was superb. The fried Honado Roll came without the cream cheese, and I thought it was the least tasty sushi roll I have ever had. The shrimp nigiri were definitely a disappointment as well. Our server was pleasant and tried to be helpful from the beginning. Later, strangely, she came over to our table right in the middle of our conversation, while we were still enjoying our meal, and asked if we needed a container for leftovers. Leftovers?! I immediately thought the restaurant was about to close and that we had overstayed our welcome, but that wasn't the case. She brought us the bill right after that, even though we hadn't asked for it yet. So, for some reason, she simply tried to speed up our exit. I'm sure Ichiban serves very good food (we saw takeouts being prepared), but I won't be going back soon, definitely not for a Titanic. One more thing, and it's definitely a downer. We received twelve pieces of nigiri instead of fourteen. I only noticed it later, while looking through the photos.

We were given a warm greeting at the door, escorted to a pleasant table, and given menus. As with most Asian restaurants, there were a lot of different offerings. I chose to have their Hibachi Filet Mignon while my Beloved simply went for a Philadelphia roll of smoked salmon, avocado, and cream cheese. Beloved found his roll to be good tasting but nothing particularly special and I pretty much thought the same of my dish. As the place was spotlessly clean, the service good, and the food decent, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to come back. But, even though there were a good amount of people there, our wait was short. We had one of the Hibachi tables. Our waitress was a very pleasant and efficient young asian woman. She was quick and professional the whole time. The food runner we had could have been better. She nearly spilled the Miso soup on my friend and didn't bother to clean it up. When our waitress came back, she was the one to wipe it up. The Miso soup and the salad was so good. I did get a big chunk of lettuce spine in my salad but it was still good. The Hibachi chef was very energetic and entertaining. He interacted with my friend's baby, which was cute. This was the baby's first time and his eyes got huge when the oil fire was set off! The Hibachi food was delicious. A little on the salty side but very good. Huge portions too. One meal is enough for two whole meals. So good! Can't wait to go back again.
