TACO BURRITO. My dad enjoyed it!
    Kat W.

I haven't been to Yolanda's in years. It was always my favorite Mexican restaurant. I decided to go with my parents yesterday for my birthday dinner. Even though the food wasn't impressive this time, the customer service was! We sat on the lovely enclosed patio. Vanessa was our server. Her service was 5 star! She was friendly, checked in on us, and all around went above and beyond! The food was pretty good. I got the single portion chicken fajitas. The chicken was very tender. The dish as a whole was lacking flavor. Dare I say it could have even used salt. I was a bit disappointed, but very hungry. I ate half and took the rest home. My mom got the 2 item combo with a chili relleno and beef taco. She loves chili rellenos, but was not happy with hers. Her plate was covered in cheese, but the relleno had no sauce she said. The taco was just beef with a little cheese and a few strands of lettuce. Nothing like the pictures on Yelp. My dad got the taco burrito and he enjoyed his! We loved the chips, salsa, and bean dip! The young guy refilling chips/dip was on top of everything and very sweet! Although we weren't impressed this time with the taste of the food, I will definitely be back to try again!

    Veggie tostada

One of my spots in Cam. I love the skinny margarita and the veggie tostada with no dairy & xtra xtra jalapeños. Great place to hang after work. It's a staple and consistent :)

Let's start by saying the customer service is on point and the waitresses were really nice and very attentive . The food not so great I ordered a steak and shrimp plate and let me tell you NO bueno so bland no flavors I ordered a medium well steak and that steak came out so dried and the shrimp had no taste just butter with no seasoning . I didn't even eat the rice had no taste . Would I recommend this place mmm maybe not ..

    Yum!

Visiting the area and craving great Mexican food--not just "good", but great!--family recommended Yolanda's! Wow, what a great recommendation that was ! We were greeted warmly and seated in a cozy booth. Chips and individual salsas came right away and then right after that, our drink order was taken. Darn, we wish we had seen the "salsa bar"--every choice there looked great. Our waitress took our order after delivering our House Margaritas--hubby had the Chili combo (Colorado, Verde, rice and refried beans) and I ordered the carnitas plate with rice and beans; flour tortillas came along. Great Mexican food always makes us very happy--and that night, we couldn't have been happier!

    Fajita so good

I didn't even realize that there was a Yolanda's in Camarillo! What an exciting find because their food is always delicious & who can say no to chips & salsa!!! I met my friends for happy hour & what a great time we had! Much need at the end of the week! We were able to sit and enjoy our appetizer sampler platter & happy hour margaritas & beer. The staff was nice. We didn't feel rushed & were able to relax & enjoy each other's company. Overall a great time, great food, tasty drinks! Yay happy hour!

I grew up going to Yolanda's and it's such a nostalgic place and I'm always ready for that delicious bean dip with the chips. We always go for the fajitas. They are a great size and the sauce that comes with them is delicious. I love all the sides and toppings that come with it. The margaritas here are tasty too! The ambience inside is great and the service is good.

    Balsamic salad

A classic Mexican restaurant. It's that familiar interior design, unlimited chips/salsa and the blended margaritas you need to go with it all. I had the balsamic salad which was pretty good. My hibiscus marg could have had more flavor, but definitely finished it. Chips are on the oily side, but still good with guacamole! Overall a decent option, especially if you're near the outlets! Stay Cheerful

Forever a favorite! My family has been coming to this location for years and it's always a good experience! Chips and drinks are quick to arrive and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This time I ordered a half order of guacamole and the street tacos. The standard Yolanda's salsa is the.best. but I love that there's also a salsa bar to choose from. Servers are always on top of it, hostesses are great and the restaurant is always an inviting space. Definitely recommend for family dinners, date nights or just a casual afternoon!

Yolanda's is always a great choice if you want some authentic Mexican food. Been coming to their Oxnard Harbor & Camarillo locations for years. The Manager is always so welcoming and funny. I love their quick service. Everyone is helpful and really caters to you. After the gym I wanted a quick bite and their steamed veggies are scrumptious! Their bean dip is also really good! Their chicken tacos are always on point as well and you can get them a la carte if you don't want a big meal. Highly recommend, you'll enjoy the friendly ambiance and good food.

It's nearly impossible to reach a live person, and the whole experience was incredibly frustrating. Second, I can't say enough about Manny, the GM at Rosa Madera. Even though the problem wasn't the restaurant's fault, he handled the situation with genuine care, professionalism, and integrity. He made me feel like my experience truly mattered, and that's something you don't forget. My order was so completely wrong that he immediately knew exactly which order it was. He took ownership of a situation he didn't create, and that's the mark of exceptional leadership. Rosa Madera is fortunate to have Manny. Because of the way he treated me, they've earned a loyal customer. Oh, and the food was incredible! We had the camarones zarandeados and the queso fundido, and both were absolutely amazing. Enjoyed the creamy salsa on it as well as the cabbage and pico de gallo adding a nice crunch and freshness to it. The quesabirria tacos had great flavor as well, though they were a bit too oily for my tatse. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the tortillas weren't my favorite. They tasted like the store bought ones from the grocery store which i'm not a huge fan of. For dessert, we tried the churro donuts and they were definitely worth it. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired really well with the caramel sauce. Sweet, but that's exactly what you want from a treat like that. They also offer a good selection of drinks. I went with the guava lemonade and it was a 10/10. Refreshing and flavorful. There is some seating area indoors and more outdoors which is nice, but I do with they had heaters for the outside seating when it gets cold.

I shared this delight with my husband and we both enjoyed it. We tried a couple of the giant pastries that were on trays in a baking rack. You use a provided pair of tongs or plastic bag to pull your choice of pastry from the various trays. We tried two different croissant style confections and both were a hit. Though I have to say these were huge and we brought them home to eat them over a couple of days The fiilings are not overly sweet and have unique tastes like mango or pineapple. The crust is not flaky like a croissant nor is it dense like a cake but something in between with the creamy filling. There are picnic type tables outside on a narrow patio that you may have to clean off yourself if the previous patrons haven't tidied up after themselves.
