Unfortunately, we found Yolklore to be very over-hyped. We did dine-in for breakfast on a recent Saturday morning. We ordered one mimosa, and I asked if I could get that while we waited for our food, and we were told no, it would come out with the food. 15 mins later I asked if I could please get the mimosa since the food was taking a bit, and they told me I was supposed to have gotten the mini-champagne bottle myself and have been given orange juice already, and apologized for the other staff member's confusion. We waited almost 30 mins for food (only one sandwich, one burrito, one side of potatoes - and they weren't that busy), and they never even said our name when the food was put on the counter. After a couple minutes of seeing that no one was going for the food on the counter and thinking it could be ours, we finally asked a staff member, and it was ours. I'm also not sure why places like this ask for tips when they're not providing service? You order at the counter, pick up your food when it's ready, get your own silverware, napkins and drinks, and then clean up your table when you're done. What am I tipping for? Nearly $45 after tax and tip, and we would've gotten better food and service at a McDonald's. Such a bummer. I've been a regular customer since it opened. Over the last couple of months the service has absolutely bottomed out. It's TERRIBLE. They close whenever they feel like it, and don't make any announcements ahead of time. They are supposed to be open until 2 pm Wed - Sun but I can't count the number of days I've been here before 2 pm and they're closed. Lots of times lately they don't even bother to work the drive thru. They just let us sit there until we drive away. Today I sat at the drive thru almost 10 minutes. Nobody waited on me. I called to see if they were open. No answer. Voice mail message hasn't been changed since Christmas a year ago. 2024. I called again. Someone answered and said they were open. I asked why nobody was working the drive thru. She said they only had one cook. This is RIDICULOUS. They lost business today because ppl in the drive thru lane got no service and drove off. Great breakfast menu. Food is fresh and delicious. The build your own breakfast sandwich option is great. I love the fresh ciabatta roll with egg, thick cut bacon and devil sauce with fresh greens. In season I add the tomato jam. The seasoned potatoes make an awesome side, I recommend the jalapeño cream sauce to dip them in. My better half loves the egg and chorizo burrito. The fresh squeeze orange juice maybe a little expensive but so worth it. Service is excellent. Place has a small dine-in area and can get crowded so recommend going early or taking food to go and picnic at White Cliff park nearby (weather permitting). read more

Oh how I love Yolklore. The just released the new menu so of course I had to come back. This morning I had the build your own breakfast sandwich - YUM! I love being able to customize a meal to what I'm feeling that day. Today it was a biscuit, over easy egg, bacon and lemon herb goat cheese. Delicious (but I don't think you could pick a bad combination) As always my boyfriend had their breakfast burrito - thank goodness it's still on their menu otherwise he would revolt. We ordered for pick up through their website (on a Thursday morning around 9:30am) and it was ready in under 20 minutes. We tried the biscuits and gravy (REALLY good). Biscuit was flaky and the sausage gravy was delicious. The frittata comes with a goat cheese spread (the spread had a citrus flavor to it; we will order that on the side next time...it was a little overpowering). The breakfast sandwich is the perfect breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and runny egg on a fluffy biscuit. The baked oatmeal and breakfast burrito were our two favorites! The baked oatmeal has a wonderful texture and is filled with cinnamon flavor and apples. The burrito has a southwest vibe and pairs well dipped in the gravy. Wow what a disappointment, last few times great today a small disaster. First very loud, can't help that too much but nothing in there to absorb the sound, all hard surfaces. On to the food my wife got an egg biscuit with scrambled egg, the egg came out scrambled, expecting a folded egg like before. Scrambled is done when u mix it, on a biscuit u fold it!! Came here for breakfast with my Mom and saw it's got some pretty amazing reviews on Yelp. The menu had just enough options that it wasn't too overwhelming so I opted for the breakfast wrap/burrito and my Mom got a traditional breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, & bacon. My wrap was okay the combination of turkey chorizo, egg, and potatoes were well balanced but left a little more to be desired flavor wise. The mocha coffee was extremely bland and milky but it was worth a try. My Mom loved her food and actually ordered a gooey butter cake to go which was delicious. The service was fast friendly and very welcoming. The shop is tucked away just off of Watson Rd and there was plenty of parking, the seating was a little close but personable. But you can always order to go. If you want to avoid going inside, order at the drive-thru instead. Always, always order the fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. My most favorite dish here is the baked oatmeal. It's made with a seasonal fruit (most recently peaches, but I've also had apples) and topped with yogurt (a vegan yogurt is also available) and local honey. It's served with fresh fruit or potatoes. I've never ordered the fresh fruit because the fried, smashed potatoes and never disappointed- served a little crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, well seasoned. A quick bite to eat that's so filling and rich in flavor I got in 15/20 minutes before closing at 2pm, felt so bad, but the staff was really accommodating and friendly! The food was delicioussss! My first bite was of the crispy potatoes that were a little sweeter, but also just the right amount of salt. I loved how they had Mission Taco sauces that I tried with the potatoes for an extra kick! It was much different than Chalupa or Sriracha (which I admired them for having)! I had the Nest Egg and my friend got the Johnny Ham Hands. The Nest Egg had a sweeter bread that worked very well with the pickled onions and arugula. I'm a fan of the combo! I am a vegetarian and love how many options I have at Yolklore. There are also gluten-free options which I appreciate for my friends who don't consume gluten. The bread is so fresh and tasty, it's well proportioned with lots of tasty things inside. Their Nest Egg is also a great choice. Their house made crust is delicious. We're out of town but have family in the area who highly recommend Yolklore! About thee months ago we stumbled on Yokelore in Crestwood, at the southeast corner of Watson & Grant Roads. Oh my, you have to try this place! They have a drive through, but go in, order and grab a table. Enjoy hanging out for a while. (Except Monday & Tuesday) Coffee is very good and breakfast is top notch. My wife is gluten free and orders their breakfast sandwich. You GF folks out there know how tough it is to get decent bread, but they've nailed it. I typically get their eggs, bacon, potatoes and biscuit breakfast although there are several other good ones. Price is very reasonable as well. It's on a more fine, better looking end of fast food, but their food is still highly processed junk food. Just because it look good, doesn't make it organic. My Philly steak was obnoxiously sweet. We all know, chefs add sugar into everything these days, to make food taste better. But this was borderline desert sweet. Perhaps chef realized that, so he over seasoned it. It didn't work. Home fries were also over seasoned, perhaps intentionally. My over easy eggs were a bit too easy, I love soft yolk, but it seemed the white was barely cooked. Staff was friendly. My husband and two kids walked in on a late Saturday morning just before noon. The reviews were accurate when they said this place is small. I thought we were going to have to sit at two separate tables. They have a large community tables put together in the center of the dining area. Luckily for us some people got up so we were able to sit together. At this place you order up front and then they call your name once it is ready. There was no wait and it didn't take long for our food to be made. Food comes out on some type of recycled paper tray. I ordered the BLT and added an over medium egg and it came with a side of potatoes. I did have the option of getting fruit instead but I did not opt for that option. I wish they would have given me more than two potatoes but it really was enough with this nice size sandwich. It tasted pretty good, it came with devil sauce that had a slight spice to it. My husband ordered the slinger and it was massive. I am not a fan of chili but it was okay. He really liked it and was not able to finish it. My son ordered the classic kid breakfast that came with one very small pancake, 1 egg, a choice of meat, and fruit. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwhich and it was nice size. My only complaint was that the seats was very uncomfortable and I wish there was more seating. Before we left they gave us two free house made pop tarts. Went here recently for a lunch date and I was pleasantly surprised! We went through the drive thru and got a breakfast burrito, slinger sandwhich, two ice mochas and a peaches & creme cream puff. The portions are huge, the slinger was the size of a plate and flavors mixed really well! My husband also enjoyed his breakfast burrito but thought he would get it without jalapenos next time because it was q bit spicy for his taste. They use coffee to make the ice cubes in the mocha so it didn't get watered down which was nice. The creme puff is SUPER BIG and so so yummy! They make it with peaches from Eckerts and it was the perfecr combo of flaky, delicate, and delicious. 10/10 would come here again to eat, loved it! read more
