Other reviews have created false expectations, so I thought I'd clarify few things. This isn't fine dining, this is fast food. It's on a more fine, better looking end of fast food, but their food is still highly processed junk food. Just because it look good, doesn't make it organic. My Philly steak was obnoxiously sweet. We all know, chefs add sugar into everything these days, to make food taste better. But this was borderline desert sweet. Perhaps chef realized that, so he over seasoned it. It didn't work. Home fries were also over seasoned, perhaps intentionally. My over easy eggs were a bit too easy, I love soft yolk, but it seemed the white was barely cooked. Staff was friendly. Went here recently for a lunch date and I was pleasantly surprised! We went through the drive thru and got a breakfast burrito, slinger sandwhich, two ice mochas and a peaches & creme cream puff. The portions are huge, the slinger was the size of a plate and flavors mixed really well! My husband also enjoyed his breakfast burrito but thought he would get it without jalapenos next time because it was q bit spicy for his taste. They use coffee to make the ice cubes in the mocha so it didn't get watered down which was nice. The creme puff is SUPER BIG and so so yummy! They make it with peaches from Eckerts and it was the perfecr combo of flaky, delicate, and delicious. 10/10 would come here again to eat, loved it! read more

Maybe this sounds like one of those kitchen impossible episodes but it 715 I called Yolklore to see if I can get 25 breakfast is made in less than 30 minutes. Certainly this would be a feat even if I went through your typical fast food place but I can attest that Yolklore has a well-crafted menu, with awesome ingredients, and is served with a high attention to detail! Not only did they commit to making it happen they made some suggestions on how to get a good variety of things and delivered on the promise to get it done in less than 30 minutes. From start to finish my order was complete at about 28 minutes which is fast. Enough about their Usain Bolt like kitchen speed and let's talk about the food. Their Shibata bread is super kick ass and the homemade scrambled eggs are fluffy and well seasoned without being overly salty. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they make their bagels New York style which involves them boiling them versus baking them. Anybody that's had this style of bagel can attest to its doughy deliciousness. My order had three different sandwiches on it and although I did not eat all three my coworkers love them. Good customer service can be as simple as common curtesy to someone who is physically limited. Wow, went here this morning first time out of the house with friend since I broke my ankle last week. I sat on a stool while my friend ordered our coffee. I was told by an employee I needed to order and which stools we were allowed to sit on. MINUTES later as we were standing to get in line to order food he again told us that we needed to order. I told him my ankle is broken and I am not able to move fast. He continued to stand (herd us) by us lecturing us that he had other people to seat. WE WALKED OUT! I am a customer experience manager and this was handled about as poorly as I can imagine. In stead of being hassled by the employee he should have tried to accommodate me being injured, at a minimum of letting me take my time. As a CEM I would have made sure MY customer was seated at a table and would have offered to help them with getting coffee and food. read more

Their smashed potatoes are a great take on normal breakfast home fries. The fresh baked biscuits and ciabatta bread that they serve with their meals are extraordinary. Their smoothies are delicious - if pricey. The coffee is good but nothing special in my opinion. Every time we have been in here, the service has been fast and friendly. And that is no small part of the reason we keep coming back despite this place being a little more expensive than your average greasy spoon diner. Though to be fair, it really ins't a good comparison. You are going to get great food here, locally sourced, served on compostable trays and you are always going to get it with a smile. This place is so cute! I love that I can get delicious breakfast, a latte, and mimosa all at one place! They also had a spicy breakfast margarita made with various fresh juices. So good! You can sit inside and eat or they have a drive thru! After the rush cleared, they played a bunch of Britney Spears and the staff was singing along. It was a vibe! Even the bathroom is adorable, equipped with various toiletries if you need them. But they really stole my heart with the fresh wildflowers in a recycled glass jar! Three visits = 3 Stars. What impresses me most about Yolklore is that they are very eco-friendly. I like that they use their dirty trays for composting. I try to recycle as much as I possibly can, so when I see businesses doing something for our environment, I'm impressed. Food wise, I like their crispy potatoes and for quick serve counter food, they do a very good Biscuits and Gravy. The buttermilk biscuits are flakey and moist and the Sage Sausage Gravy is seasoned well. As I have said before, I was raised on a farm and I know B&G's. These receive a former farmers seal of approval. I've eaten; Classic Breakfast, Johnny Ham Hands and their Nest Egg. Out of the three, I'd say the Classic Breakfast was the best. It truly is a classic breakfast. It has two eggs your style, meat of choice, a biscuit with sage sausage gravy and their famous crispy potatoes. Having this breakfast, you will not go away hungry. Johnny Ham is a Plain Jane ham sandwich, nothing really impressive. The Nest Egg was a major disappointment. The biscuit shell was hard and tough, my eggs were under poached and the bacon was equally as tough as the biscuit shell. What holds them back from getting a fourth star is their customer service. I'd highly recommend the staff go visit other businesses similar to theirs and see how counter service should be done. The staff here is cold and very unfriendly. On one of my visits, I was the only person there and on the other two visits had two and three other diners and they arrived as I was leaving. So being overly busy was not the excuse for providing cold inattentive service. Also, with large windows and an open view of the kitchen, the cooks should be aware that all eyes are on them. Tried this place a while back. It was ok. I got a burrito and it was good. The eggs inside seemed to have burned pieces(chips of burn) and the sauce it came with was not good in my opinion. A breakfast gem! They have a drive-thru but my car is too ninja to set it off. For the drive-thru trouble, the woman taking the order gave me a large, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie which was still warm. I don't eat cookies but what a lovely gesture! I ordered a Johnny Ham hands ($9) which was made with some of their fantastic sauce that has a tiny bit of kick to it. I am assuming it was what they are calling devil's sauce. The slice of ham was thick and well-prepared. The fried egg was over easy so when you take that first bite, the yolk runs all over your breakfast sandwich. They do give you the option of some crispy potatoes or a fruit cup for your side. I opted for the crispy potatoes because why not... They gave me 2 small potatoes, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside with a very well-balanced salty/peppery flavor. I think I might even crave those potatoes one day. I did not get any drinks as I just came into a rather large supply of k-cup variety at home but they do have some juices and smoothie options. I can't wait to come back and try another delightful breakfast fare! UPDATE (07FEB2017): I ended up coming in for breakfast shortly after the first trip and had an even nicer experience. So far during my visits, I have tried some of their biscuits and gravy, the breakfast classic with bacon, and the nest egg. Biscuit and gravy - normally, I am not a fan of biscuits and most bread types but their biscuits are fresh and delicious especially when paired with their gravy. The gravy is meaty and full of flavor! Classic breakfast - I opted for bacon and asked for my eggs to be made overeasy. The eggs were done perfectly and the bacon were thick-cut (my favorite kind!). I was having some bacon craving when I came in and they satisfied every square inch of my bacon-craving soul. And once again, the delicious biscuit and gravy made a special appearance along with the smashed potatoes that I have come to love so much. The Nest egg - OK so I wasn't as impressed with this dish but I did like the flavor mash-up. The pastry shell was a bit underwhelming to me but the filling had some definite potential. I have been inside the small cafe to enjoy some coffee and a hearty breakfast and I've never left hungry or disappointed. The place is always clean, there's always a place to sit and relax, and the staff have always been friendly. I was unaware of this place's existence. Now, it's going to be a problem. Seriously, it is a trendy little clean, bright, fresh, breakfast joint hidden rudely in a strip mall! Confusing. I'm pushing 7 months pregnant, as of the time I write this, and I am going back for those pancakes- big dippers. You sometimes go out and get pancakes and they are kind of flat and rubbery... Almost as if they have been pre made and heated up, or microwaved. And, thus, remind me to only eat pancakes that we make at home. I was craving pancakes so I ordered the big dippers. I was initially skeptical about the concept that you get 6 pancakes that you tear up and dip in syrup. But, now that's the only way I want to eat pancakes- these stay fluffy and delicious and only need a tiny bit of syrup dipped on the edge. These are NOT those gross French toast sticks you get at the grocery store freezer aisle; they make it all right in front of you. They even have a drive through!!! Also, a created problem for me now, Husband got slinger on a sandwich and said it was delicious! But, seriously, there was a four year old sitting a few seats away from me (it's a big shared long table in the middle of the room) who got the kid's version of what I got (the Little Dippers) and proudly exclaimed, "These pancakes are really good!!!". Aren't four year olds the experts on pancakes? Also, I was fascinated by the idea that they have an old-school coffee "club" where you rent a mug on the wall with your name on it and come in and get coffee in your very own reserved mug. I have been trying to get here since it opened. Man, I am glad we made it on a weekday, since it is quite small inside. But the food, though... OMG. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, super fresh, hot right out the kitchen or oven. Also, since it was 1p on a weekday, they weren't busy at all. The chili in the bfs slinger was so good, I ordered a side of chili myself. The biscuits are fluffy, but just dense enough, and crumbly enough that they worked for my chorizo sandwich. The cake pop was sweet, has a cookie dough consistency, and generously coated with sprinkles. The guy who took my order was great, explained everything, and all our food super quick. Also, they have a great London fog, and you can choose that it's made with either Earl grey or breakfast tea. Slightly sweet, a perfect breakfast tea. Great if you're looking for a flavorless, overpriced breakfast. Their lattes taste like vaguely coffee-flavored water. The eggs inside their burritos are clearly poured from an unsalted carton of liquid egg, and put together with the passion and spices of a bored librarian. And you can't substitute chorizo for bacon because they made the burritos in advance - and it tastes like it. They were a bit skimpy with the goat cheese, but that bacon! Two super thick & crispy pieces were amazing. The falafel were nicely spiced and made to order. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside without falling apart. The greens were super fresh and the they should sell those pickled veg on their own! Yum! I loved that the lemon vinaigrette was very lemon forward and light on the oil. WOW! I don't even know where to start with this place! First, I called to make sure I could get something dairy and gluten free. The gentleman who answered the call was polite and helpful. The online ordering process was a SNAP! Their ordering platform is clear and intuitive to use. I pulled up to the order box and gave them my name and they asked if I needed utensils and napkins and had me to pull up to the window. There was a car ahead of me and I did have to wait a little while and I confess I was getting nervous that my food would be cold and gross. The young lady at the window confirmed my name and my order, I asked if utensils were in there (bc I'm sure we've all had the experience of being disappointed elsewhere with this) and she said yes. I pulled into the parking lot to inspect my food and I was THRILLED to see everything was in recycled and compostable material. The falafel was warm, salad was cold, potatoes freshly grilled and smashed and my eggs were still warm and perfectly medium. I piled it all together (don't judge, I'm hungry) and drove to my destination...where I poured the small bottle of Brut into a cup of OJ that was militarily filled to precision to allow for every drop of the champagne without having to gulp any OJ to make room or having an overly boozy mimosa (if that is even a thing). Yolklore hit every nail squarely on the head and I WILL be back. I'm ashamed to admit that I judged it many times before based on location, so please don't make the same mistake! I'm also loving that this company is woman owned and run. Just ok. First the pros: This place is clean and doing it's "local and healthy ingredients" thing. The employees went above and beyond. I'm a customer that requires a lot of patience. Mostly having to do with the metal chair I was sitting in. Yikes.
