Recommended by my friends. I got the melon drink with added boba. Drink itself was okay. Nothing special. I just think it's too expensive. This is $6+ .75 to add boba. Plus tax of more than $7, I don't think it's worth it. But the service was great and the guy at the cash register was friendly. Place was nicely decorated.

This cafe is for the girlies! Yolo's cafe is that girl, the environment is so welcoming. The barista is so sweet and friendly, I came here to study and I felt comfortable to stay, the pistachio coffee was perfect! Not too strong and not too sweet. The peach green tea was bomb! The tea wasn't too bitter and the peach bits gave it a nice flavor. The owner was so kind he gave my sister and I a little snack because we were studying! So sweet! 10/10

When we entered I will say it was great customer service. They were kind and my order came out in a good time. We got an m&m candy for waiting which was nice of them. This place is first and foremost a boba spot. Their matcha looked good and I wanted to give them a try. I ordered a lotus matcha with almond milk and 50% sweetness. The cream top was the perfect consistency and what I love on matcha...but the actual drink wasn't it. It didn't taste like quality match and more of a green tea latte you buy with boba. It tasted sweet and overall felt as if I was drinking sugar. For boba? This place looks great and I'm sure does amazing! But for good matcha? I'll pass.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Lotus Matcha: 7/10 It's on the lighter side. I had to sort of concentrate to see if I can taste the lotus, but realized it was a biscuit drink!! Haha it's super super subtle in this drink. Great ice to drink ratio. Drink doesn't get watered down. The biscoff and biscuit topping was very cute and aesthetic. Doesn't effect the flavor of the drink, but wanted to note. Not for those who like sweeter drinks. Service: 10/10 The cashier was super friendly to every customer I saw him encounter. He gave this baby a little chocolate egg and gave some Christmas carolers some money haha. It was only him in the store, so give lenience when it comes to time. My drink came out in like 5-10 minutes though. Ambiance: 8/10 A great place to hangout with friends or doodle. Not the best place to study, but definitely could become one! There's only one table with available outlets, no restroom, and the music was a bit loud, but didn't bother me at all. Free wifi and inside is air conditioned, but not freezing. I loved that there's seat cushions available!! In a small parking lot, so you might have a hard time finding parking. Easy walking distance from John Bosco High School. TDLR: Great place for a hangout! Not the greatest for studying, but you definitely can. Free wifi, no restrooms, limited outlets, loud music. Oddly enough I honestly loved it. Felt super comfortable, but def not for everyone. Small parking lot. Lotus matcha is on the lighter side! Not for those that like drinks on the sweeter side.

Don't let the slightly sketchy exterior fool you, YOLO Cafe is basically a cozy little treasure chest once you walk inside. Instant vibes. When I got there, a girl was typing away on her laptop, a couple was deep in study mode, and two girls were yapping. Truly a "choose your own adventure" kind of café. The music? Chef's kiss. Not blasting your ears off, not whispering -- just perfectly vibey. Seating-wise, they've got options: * Three tables that can fit a group of six if you don't mind sitting cute and close * Two tables for four * A counter with two seats * And a couch for max coziness The whole vibe is super cutesy. The worker was so friendly -- gave me a warm smile and instantly made the place feel even cozier. Oh -- and apparently free pastries on Mondays (don't quote me, but that's what he said). Mine was warm, tasty, and honestly made me feel a little spoiled. I got the strawberry matcha with oat milk and strawberry cream, and WOW. The strawberry cream was fluffy, the matcha was delicious, and the bits of strawberry at the bottom were everything. I drank it so fast I practically mourned the empty cup

Really great spot! I get the peach matcha and it's so yummy! My mom tried the strawberry cheesecake croffle (croissant waffle) and said that it's definitely one of the best desserts she's ever had. Good service, good seating, great dessert menu, and extensive drink menu!

Hands down the best matcha I've ever had! I don't see myself going anywhere else for matcha anymore Yolo Cafe is officially my go to spot. The quality and flavor are unmatched. Ean's warmth instantly lifts your mood the moment you walk in. You're greeted with a cozy, inviting atmosphere and genuinely kind baristas who make you feel right at home. The music is chill and hip -- full of great tunes I'd never heard before but immediately loved. This is the kind of spot you go out of your way to visit. They've only been open for seven months, but I truly want to see them blow up to Starbucks-level fame because they absolutely deserve it. I tried their specialty drink -- the "must-try" matcha topped with matcha cold foam -- and it was epic. Don't sleep on this place. Ean even surprises Yelpers with a delicious croffle (a croissant + waffle combo that's heavenly). I originally planned to grab my drink to go, but the vibe was so good I ended up staying. That says it all.

What a great cafe! Came during the week and experienced a very welcoming atmosphere. Ordered the strawberry matcha and banana matcha as well as a pastry. This place is great to hang out and enjoy their various card and board games available. I received the drinks and pastry quickly and presentation was excellent. To top it off, they were delicious! Loved this place! The staff was so nice and helped us pick our drinks out. The matchas are definitely picture perfect as they take time to make it look nice. Overall the matcha was good but do think what made it taste good was the cold foam. We had the pumpkin matcha but I would ask for more flavor next time.

Came here for an afternoon pick me up. I normally go to Starbucks or Soulmates since those are both near my work but remembered that this place just opened up. Came here and got the Dirty Matcha 50% sweetness and was offered a sample of the Blueberry Matcha. Let me just say the blueberry is differently my Favorite! The dirty matcha was good too since it is more of a coffee flavor and that's what I was looking for. Also tried their March Special which was a pastry treat (sorry, dont know the name) fish shaped with sweet corn filling, it was smaller then I thought it would be but was nice and warm. I come here often to study and work. This place is has a great relaxing vibe, plenty of table space, and a great staff. They have great service and good drinks. I recommend the brown sugar milk tea. It's a bit hidden in the corner of the plaza, so be sure not to miss it. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! There were so many awesome things about this place - First and foremost, the owner greeted us so enthusiastically and kindly! He was so excited to show us the new blueberry matcha he was adding to the menu, he even gave us samples. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST BLUEBERRY MATCHAS IVE EVER HAD. The puree was 10000% made in house, it wasn't too sweet or artificial. I found this place through tiktok and wanted to give it a shot since it's only 5 minutes away for me! You guys need to try this place out, their drinks are sooo yummy! Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice man (i want to say it was the owner) and he answered all the questions we had about drinks. I ended up getting the roasted matcha latte and my sister got the blueberry matcha and it was sooo good! The presentation of the drink also looks really fancy and looks like it came from an expensive place that comes with a tiny cookie! Overall i would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family! read more

Hi I live near this boba Cafe and a regular to this location and it's amazing. It's a small business worth supporting. Ian is the owner and he's always very friendly and it offered a variety of amazing drinks. You can even adjust the sweetness and so many add ons. He also offers many good drink and sweets deals all the time. Also every dessert has never disappointed and their croffles are always warm but should be eaten quickly to prevent from becoming stale and the ice cream melting . The place is super clean too and has a cute minimalist atheistic. read more

I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't busy at all. Service: You can either place your order at the kiosk or at the register. There was only one worker at the time, but she's quick & efficient. Drinks: My go-to lately is the Seaside Green Thai Tea. I really enjoy how their Thai Green Tea tastes. It has a floral, sweet, and strong tea flavor. I sometimes get their coffee. It's strong and does the job. Their menu became a bit overwhelming bc they now offer so many seasonal drinks. Pricing: Krak Boba has their own rewards app. The app is really easy to use. My only pet peeve is how the coupon's expiration works. For ex, if a coupon says it'll expire on 6/16, it will literally expire once it hits midnight of 6/16. I was given a 50% off coupon that expired on 6/16, and of course I visited on 6/16. I didn't realize it already disappeared. Other than that, the app is helpful when mobile ordering, looking at menu items, and receiving points.

Good Morning Sunshine…read more BesTeas was surprisingly delicious! Without a doubt some of the best prepared boba pearls I've ever had. There's a balance to strike between the doneness & sweetness. Perfectly lightly sweetened with honey and a light bounciness, they nailed it with the Goldilocks ratio here. Try their Morning Sunshine - a bit on the sweeter side as it combines mango, lychee, and peach syrups but is perfectly balanced with the boba accompaniment. Service was warm & efficient. The decoration of this place is great for children, equipped with claw machines and knick-knacks. I was able to get some work done with headphones on and the free WiFi, but table space is limited and likely not the best place to get some studying in. If I were in the area again, I'd be back to try more of their offerings!

For our carne asada tacos, we purchased carne picada since I learned it was the same as diezmillo, except pre-chopped. Even if the cut you're looking for doesn't come pre-marinated, they will marinate it for you if you ask! After confirming my order, she asked one of the carniceros to retrieve it. He was the only employee who thanked me and made me feel welcomed. The cashier, on the other hand, rang me up with a noticeable attitude. I understand that busy times can be stressful, but I don't understand why I was met with such negativity when I approached with a positive attitude and simply followed the pickup instructions. To make matters worse, one of the black gloves the cashier had been using while handling the cheese somehow ended up inside my bag with my shrimp. That was very concerning from a food safety standpoint. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. A friendly acknowledgment and better attention to food handling would make a big difference in the customer experience.

Stopped by YOLO'S recently because I kept hearing about their matcha drinks, and honestly... I get the hype now. The shop is located in a smaller plaza with a bunch of neighboring businesses packed together -- there's everything from a Thai spot and barber shop to nail salons and other little storefronts nearby. Because of that, I can definitely see parking getting a little tricky during busier hours, but luckily I found a spot pretty close to the entrance. Inside was super cute and welcoming. Staff greeted me right away, and the menu was honestly overwhelming in the best way possible because there were SO many drink options. If you're into matcha specifically, this place is dangerous because they have an insane variety of flavors and combinations. I was especially surprised seeing things like grapefruit matcha on the menu. I ended up ordering the strawberry matcha, and while there was a short wait (around 5 minutes), it was 100% worth it. At the time, there was only one person making drinks and one person taking orders, but you could tell they genuinely cared about presentation and quality. Every drink that came out looked carefully crafted instead of rushed. When mine came out, it looked absolutely beautiful. The strawberries tasted fresh, and you could actually taste real strawberry chunks while drinking it. The matcha itself was smooth and flavorful, and they topped it with this strawberry puree foam that made the whole drink even better. They even added a little cookie onto one of the straws, which was such a cute touch. Honestly, it almost looked too pretty to drink. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're a matcha lover or just want something aesthetically pleasing that also tastes really good. I had a great experience at Yolo Cafe! I brought my younger son with me, and he absolutely loved the croffle, it was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, truly amazing. We also ordered a grapefruit ade, which was refreshingly sweet, and a dirty matcha that was rich and well-balanced. The drinks were just as impressive as the food. I always feel like I'm having a strawberry nest quick when I have this drink that's why I don't like it too sweet. I will admit it's not as good as the one solid coffee roasters makes, but it's close. I'll come back. I'll try the coffee next time.

For drinks, I ordered the sweet corn cream matcha ($7) and my friend ordered the ube matcha latte ($6). We both asked for oat milk sub and it was an additional $1. Both drinks had just the right amount of sweetness but the matcha flavor itself was missing for me. I did slightly prefer the corn over the matcha. The drinks were iced but we received them warm and even after waiting for the ice to melt, the drink never got cold and maybe that is what created some kind of lack of taste for me. Overall it's a good place to get some work done, but the matchas wouldn't be my first choice, I'll probably try a coffee the next time.
