Yonny at Arcadia was recommended by a friend so I decided to try it out for the first time (they opened a location in RH as well). No regrets at all because it was delicious! I ordered the Spicy pot with Fish, which came with choice of two complimentary add on items (I selected Napa and Tofu). I also ordered additional add on items for a small amount (Fish Tofu). The total for my pot was about $18, which was VERY reasonable because it was pretty big portions (I got a Small pot, and a Large is about $5 more). There's drinks like bottled tea and bottles of beer available. Awesome that they serve alcohol! Service was REALLY good. The staff explained how the ordering works and made good recommendations. I was actually quite impressed with my waitress because I embarrassing dropped my chopsticks twice but she quickly got me replacements TWICE automatically without me even requesting for it. She was THAT attentive! I really enjoyed my meal at Yonny in Arcadia and I will definitely be coming back soon!

I first found out about Yonny through a foodie's Instagram video and I'm so glad I came across it! Decided to give this place a try tonight and it completely exceeded expectations. For three people, we ordered three soups and two side dishes. You get one free bowl of rice per regular sized soup, which was a nice bonus. We got the traditional laotan suancai fish, green peppercorn suancai fish, and golden soup beef slices. For sides, we ordered the fried taro balls and fried salt and pepper fish. Everything was exactly what we hoped for but honestly, even better!!! Each soup had its own distinct flavor profile, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. My personal favorite was the green peppercorn suancai fish because of the slightly numbing, floral flavor. Every soup was packed with flavor though, and it was genuinely hard to choose a favorite because they were all so delicious! You really can't go wrong with any of the three soups we ordered. This place has officially become one of my top comfort food spots and I can already tell I'll be coming back all the time! Maybe even once a week!

First time trying and loved it! The fish soup is very flavorful and they give plenty of fish and veggies as well as your add ons. They also give a side of rice. The giant squid was tender and had a good kick. The small size portion was good enough for two people. I am already planning my next trip here!

First time dine at Yonny. I believe it is a new Suancai fish restaurant in SGV. We ordered two pots of fish and one beef. All tasted very good, and at the same time the price much lower than the one in Santa Anita mall. Service all the staff were super helpful on explaining their menu. For sure will be back. Great food great value.

Very nice new addition to SGV! This place feels like an established Chinese chain restaurant, and the interior is modern. We decided to try it on a Saturday evening, and I'm so glad we did. The menu is simple and focused mostly on sliced fish dishes in different styles of soup. They offer one-person and two-person portions, but honestly, the one-person portion is already very generous. My husband and I ordered the sour pickled fish soup and the spicy beef, both in one-person portions, and it was more than enough. Next time, we could probably just order one to share -- but I'm glad we got to try two different flavors. The food came out fast, almost like a fast-casual concept, but with restaurant-quality food. Great value for the price, very reasonable, and the quality was solid. Service was also excellent. Our server explained the menu well and kept refilling our water without us even asking. Overall, great quality, great service, beautiful interior, and very reasonable pricing. We'll definitely come back to try more fish and beef dishes!

When we went there, it was right during its grand open we scored a Suite 20% off the bill, we went for the princess tomato fish and their linyi style stir friend chicken. Honestly, the flavors were good. Their service is good too. The place is clean, big and great vibes.

Good authentic chinese soups, lots of flavors that I tasted on my trip to China a few years ago. The place was clean and the food was really tasty, just be prepared for a good kick of spice.

Great place to have fish in a pot , great taste fast service , good food good service I would come back again !

Laotan Suancai snakehead fish, so yummy - the soup is my favorite. Sides I chose cabbage and black fungus perfect for the soup. Reasonable price, nice staff and clean interior - Will come back again.

I really wish they would bring it back because it was one of the restaurant's signature dishes and a favorite among many customers. During this visit, I ordered the sliced pork and the jelly noodles. The sliced pork was incredibly tender, with a clean, fresh flavor that let the ingredients' quality shine. The jelly noodles were refreshing, spicy, and full of bold Sichuan flavors. The combination of heat, seasoning, and texture was simply delicious. The dessert was also surprisingly good. It reminded me of mochi, topped with puffed rice that added a pleasant crunch and contrast to the soft, chewy texture. If you're looking for authentic Sichuan food in Los Angeles, I highly recommend Sichuan Impression. The flavors are genuine, the dishes are consistently well prepared, and it's a place you really can't go wrong with.

Located on Main Street in Alhambra, there's tons of delicious restaurants like Sichuan impression. Parking was simple, the parking structure is in the same building as the restaurant. To order your food, you scan the QR code at your table and order everything through your phone.I honestly would love to get a physical menu with photos and an employee taking my order. I would like human interaction. Ordered the stir fry dry green beans, tea smoked pork ribs, wonton in chili oil, and beef noodle soup. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious! I would reorder everything! The pork ribs were perfect texture and flavor! Interior is beautiful, food is delicious and looks beautiful as well. Staff was very friendly although not so attentive. I would definitely come back!

The spicy chicken nuggets has the right amount of numbing spice, paired with the crunch of the chicken, and filled with crispy chili pieces. The stinky tofu is fried and pairs perfectly with pungent garlic dipping sauce. The portions are generous and the price is super affordable. Most dishes range from 12.99 -15.99. The duck is around $28 for the whole duck, which is amazing in this economy. It's a small store so seating is limited. I've never personally dined in and always ordered takeout. And the boss lady that runs the front of the house? She is cool, sassy and a multi-tasking queen. You can tell she puts heart and pride into serving the customers and food. When placing the phone order, she will try to make sure that the food is ready when you arrive. And she will always say in mandarin in an almost scolding tone: "hurry up and go home and eat the food. It won't be as good if you wait to long to eat it! " Honestly...the scolding makes the food taste better.

Shreded pork w/ garlic sauce ( the tastiest dish out of all four but it was standard chinese " sweet noodle sauce " taste, there wasn't any garlic taste) Mapo tofu ( tons of spicy pepper oil but not much flavor, bland) beef with black pepper sauce ( kinda bland taste wise, the look of very blackened beef was kinda weird.) Hot pepper chicken ( seems like everyone liked this on yelp but it was just un-marinated chicken, battered & fried with tons of spicy red pepper bits) We were not impressed with any of the dishes. service was ok, the way the waitress was talking was interesting ( not professional yet not in a rude sense). You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab a quick bowl," and suddenly there's a noodle master stretching dough like he's training for the Olympics. Their Lanzhou-style noodles? Fresh, chewy, and honestly a little too good--they'll ruin instant ramen for you forever. The Lan noodle soup is so rich and savory. The died mixed noodle feels like a warm hug... if hugs came with chili oil and a kick that sneaks up on you. It's a small, busy spot, so yeah, you might wait--but don't worry, the line moves fast. Plus, it gives you time to emotionally prepare for choosing your noodle shape. Thin? Wide? Triangle? This is not a decision to take lightly. They have a small and large sweet and sour chicken rice plate. I had gotten the small size just to try it out, but it was surprisingly good (5/5). The pork sandwich bun was decent (4/5) since the beef was tasty but the sandwich bun could be better. We also had the traditional beef noodle soups with either the wide flat and triangle ones. You can't go wrong with these freshly made pulled noodles, and they are very hearty portions. Flavor is good and the beef is very tender. The smashed cucumbers were decent also (4/5), but nothing spectacular about them. Service is very quick, attentive and pleasant. This is a good go to spot for a quick meal. The dining room doesn't seat a lot of people so try not to come during busy dining hours on weekends to avoid a long wait.
