    SAVORY BRAISED CHICKEN NOODLE
    Karen L.

We went on a Friday afternoon but because it was a holiday we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, braised chicken with noodles, scallion pancakes and spicy chicken wontons. We asked for mild on the beef noodle soup but it wasn't spicy at all. Luckily they do provide chili sauce at the table to adjust the spice level. The flavor was a little cilantro/mint forward and it was a little on the salty side. The braised chicken wasn't that spicy either. It was tender and the flavor was good. The scallion pancakes were a little dense and didn't have much flavor to it. Our favorite of our dishes was the chicken dumplings. I think I could have eaten 2 orders of this dish. Overall the speed of service was good. They provide bibs to wear which I would highly recommend wearing since you do end up with splatters from eating noodles. The open space of the restaurant was a little distracting but clean.

Signature Beef Noodle Soup with flat noodles. Fun eating with such a big spoon!
    Myrine S.

Stopped in for a quick meal. Service was prompt and friendly. Enjoyed the signature beef noodle soup but wished there was more beef. Only came with a few slices. Broth was rich and flavorful with the added chili oil and dark vinegar. Came with lots of fresh noodles. You have a choice of: standard round, flat, triangle and knife. The fresh watermelon juice was a great way to end the meal. So sweet and refreshing.

Definitely recommend dining in rather than taking out! Decided to give this spot another try and I had a much better experience eating at the restaurant than ordering takeout! Arrived on a Saturday at noon and it was slightly busy but service was attentive and friendly. Loved that the open kitchen setup so I could see the staff making the noodles from scratch! Got the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup ($16.50) and I really enjoyed it. I loved that the spice level could be adjusted so I got the mild. There were 4 different noodle options - standard round, flat, knife cut, and triangle. I got the knife cut and it was so fresh and chewy. The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty or spicy. Wish there were more chunks of beef shank and tendon but not a big deal! Really enjoyed how the beef tendon was very tender and not too fatty. However, the beef shank was a bit too dry and rough in texture for my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the noodles and the broth, as well as the beef tendon! The Signature Beef Noodle Soup ($15.50) was good. Really enjoyed the noodles since I got knife cut so it was very fresh and chewy! Definitely recommend their knife cut noodles! The broth was slightly too salty and I wasn't a big fan of the broth because it tasted a bit minty due to some of the herbs and spices used perhaps? I didn't like the beef since it was too dry and rough but I still ate it all because I don't like wasting food. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the Spicy Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup more than the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Also, I liked the noodles much more than the broth and beef.

Noodle street has some of the best noodles trust me when I say that because I'm a ho for noods. we ordered the Chicken noodle soup and Spicy Beef noodle soup. The knife cut noodles were sooo chewy I absolutely loved it. It's usually busy on the weekend, but it was quite empty when I went. Service was quick and good. Food came out in like 10-15 min. Total for the two bowls were ~$35. Definitely recommending ‍

Small open space for Noodle St at the mall right across from Din Tai Fung. Easy to spot and find with delicious handmade and fresh noodles! Pros: -fast service. Received take out order within 15min from ordering at the cashier. Food is packaged nicely and neatly. -delicious food -variety of handmade cut noodles -fresh watermelon juice -open space for table seating makes it feel free -service is friendly -big bonus - own restroom!! Cons: -none I wish they offered a lunch special on weekdays!!

Egg Tomato Handcut Noodles is my absolute favorite! I always get this with a watermelon juice when I'm in town

This is still my favorite go to noodle place. I always order the egg and tomato knife cut noodles. The peach black tea tastes just like Snapple back in the 90s. So nostalgic. The green onion pancake is 5/5. I can munch on these as snack all day. DD loves her dry noodles with minced meat and watermelon juice which can now be sweetened. Came here for an early dinner. No wait. Great service.

This is the second time that I have eaten here, coming on a Saturday with a beautiful sunny day, and meeting up with a couple of girlfriends, one of whom I hadn't seen in eight years! We cheerfully ordered several dishes to share, it was plenty enough food for us. There was enough parking spaces at the Arcadia Westfield Mall, especially if you drive to the first or second level down below street level. The Noodle Street menu has a good selection of noodle dishes and delicious side dishes, the wait staff are nice and friendly, and there was no waiting time for our party of three when we arrived separately. The noodles are cooked freshly upping your order, and you can see one of the chefs shaving the block of dough for the knife cut noodles, he was slicing the noodles pieces into long strips 3" to 4" by 3/8" long. The noodles are nice, thick, and chewy, and I ordered the beef noodle with some tendons, asking for less spiciness for the soup that we shared, each person with our own bowl. The steamed wontons in chili sauce were also nice and chewy with a nice chili oil, yummy. We had the traditional beef rolls, I adored for extra housin sauce, plus we ordered a glass noodle dish that was lightly spicy, and quite delicious. This is a good place to walk around the mall after your meal while you're digesting the food, then we headed to the outside part of the mall to a boba shop called 3Cat, which I heard is famous. Check out the restaurant, you won't be disappointed with the variety of tasty dishes, then you can go walking to the various shops, hang out with your friends while catching up on your lives after that good meal, and then you can sit at the 3Cat place for a milk tea with panne cotta. All in all, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the staff are nice, and it's a good place to socialize. Enjoy your meal!

Came here bc like was very long at DTF and we were cold and hungry. We were seated right away on a weekend evening after 7p. This was super chill and casual sit down out in the mall. Ordered the signature beef middle soup -- food came out decently fast: noodles and beef were good. Not too salty. If you share it they even give you scissors to cut the noodles and beef too. There wasn't any veggies at all. The beef roll was a bit disappointing -- it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Flavors are ok. Overall service was prompt, though pretty pricey for noodles and beef imho, but it's a decent alternative when you have Live action noodles in the making that you can see through the window :)

After a day of shopping at the mall, we went to noodle st. We ordered the bone in rib knife cut noodle soup and the clear (but not actually clear) cold noodles. Service was quick and I loved my noodle soup and especially the clear noodle!!! Beware of the chili ooo splatters but they do offer a bib if you want. The wait was not too long and not too loud even though it's at the mall. This is the 3rd location I tried. First was in Pasadena and then Monrovia.

Noodle St is a popular chain established in 2017, while they have many Southern California spots, their original location is in Fullerton, CA. They're known for making hand-pulled noodles in-house in various textures and shapes, including round, flat, triangular, and knife-cut noodles. Service was decent. The restaurant is located in a mall next to Din Tai Fung and Uncle Tetsu in an open space. It's a casual dining area. Their scallion pancakes were crispy and flaky, it's phenomenal! We had 3 orders of them! The spicy beef noodle soup was rich and flavorful. The beef was tender and the hand-pulled noodles have a wonderful chewy texture. The braised chicken knife noodles were very savory. It's big enough for two people to share! The cucumber salad, garlic string beans, and beef rolls pancakes were all delicious as well. Haven't had anything bad here and I've been here quite a few times. We enjoyed every dish down to the last bite :)

    egg with tomato noodle (5/5)
    Caroline C.

I've been here probably 20+ times and I always order the Egg with Tomato Noodle. The knife cut noodles are consistently cooked perfectly with that satisfying QQ texture, and the broth is balanced between umami and subtle sweetness. The portions are filling without being too heavy, and the price is good. This is my go to comfort meal on a cold day. I usually order for takeout, but the interior seems clean and the staff is always kind!

Had a great experience here. No wait Sunday night and we were sat immediately. The food came out fast and had so much good flavor for a decent price. The noodle quality is rlly good too!! Only downside is they ran out of calamari and fried tofu which were 2 items we rlly wanted lol

I'm sure they also know English and Mandarin as well. We came for their dinner special on a weekday. Their special menu had two different tiers of food prices - $10.99 and $12.99. The specials usually come with a soup and a rice as well, but the soup was sold out by dinner time. We ordered Chicken and Corn over Rice, Stir-Fried Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce, Beef Chow Fun with Soy Sauce, Grilled Lemon Grass Pork Chop. Whenever I come to these type of restaurants, I usually order the same type of items. The chicken and corn over rice at this restaurant was just OK. It was typical and nothing special, but I still enjoyed it. The Stir-Fried Fish Filet was good and went well with the white rice. The beef Chow Fun is standard and the same as everywhere else. Can't go wrong with this staple. The one you dish that we did try was the grilled lemongrass pork chop. We don't usually order this but decided to give it a try this time. It was decent but more on the savory side. Overall, we were glad to find a restaurant with dinner specials. Located in a busy neighborhood of El Monte, CA, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Limited parking is available behind the restaurant, and street parking is an option if you can find a space. The menu is quite extensive, with options including wraps, salads, bowls, breakfast items, smoothies, and meal-prepped dishes with chicken, beef, salmon, tofu, and much more. I was impressed by the variety of choices and portions. My wife ordered an Asian chicken salad and garlic edamame, while I had a house salad with chicken and shrimp, plus a strawberry-banana smoothie and (2) protein donuts. Each dish was absolutely delicious. The lettuce in our salads was crunchy and fresh, the chicken and shrimp were flavorful and well-seasoned, the garlic edamame was tasty and cooked perfectly, and my banana and strawberry smoothie--let's just say I wish I had another one right now, as I loved it! If I may make a small suggestion: please chop the lettuce into smaller pieces, as the lettuce on both our plates contained large pieces that we had to cut ourselves. Despite this minor item, it was a positive dining experience, and we definitely plan to return soon to try other items on the menu.

They'll serve the food to you and you can leave everything on the table when you're done, someone will clean it up I don't live too close so when I come I just order my usual but the other menu items like the ssam and specials all look really good too! The drinks that I've had were just okay, I stick to the food when I'm here

Got the Carnitas Wang and Cheese Steak Fries. Both were flavorful and large portions. The fries…read morewere thin and became mostly soggy under the toppings. It would be nice if they used a more substantial, crispy type of fry. Going for a midweek late lunch, it was not busy. It's a very casual place where you order at the counter and find a seat. There were only two tables with diners, however, almost all of the other tables had piles of food and drink trash left. Again, it was not busy, there were at least three people working there and the whole time we were there (we dined in) no one cleared the tables.

My dad loved the beef noodle soup which is saying a lot cause beef noodle soup is one of his all time favorite dish to eat and he makes it all the time too. He said this one was one of his favorites and he loved the noodles. He said it was thin and bouncy and held a ton of flavor. The saozi noodles I got were also really good! Extremely flavorful and the noodles had an amazing bounce to them. I'll definitely be back to try new items. I also got the pumpkin cake and that was delicious too. A bit oily since it's fried but yummy.

This place is located on the Promenade side of Santa Anita Mall with many other Asian eateries. It…read morehas a very casual setting with limited seating inside and outside. You order at the counter and they call out your order number when it's ready. Tipping is not needed and it's not even an option when you pay for your order. Popcorn Chicken was excellent and portion was very generous for under $10. My wife described it as more like a cross between chicken karaage and popcorn chicken. It had good amount of seasoning without being spicy or overpowering, and tasted fresh. Beef Noodle Soup had good broth without any MSG attack. This dish can be upgraded to spicy soup if desired. You also have the option of going with flat rice noodle, round rice noodle, or ramen noodle.
