When you walk in, you are instantly greeted with very enthusiastic employees. I have two kids, and they empowered them to order their own items so they learn how to speak up for themselves. I really love that as I do that with my kids anyways. They also make it like a celebration when you get your order at the pick up counter. They definitely knew how to make it an experience. Inside the store they had some claw machines which each kid got a free token for. We got the donut ice cream sandwich which they are famous for and it was very good but very sweet. Found Yonutz on Durango during a random bakery/sweets search and it was one place that was open later in the night. I used to have one near me in Henderson, but sadly that location went out of business. One thing we weren't expecting is the staff yelling "YO!" once we entered the establishment. That was pretty awesome. They were so pumped up and so nice in an ambiance that has a very happy feel to it. We really don't eat donuts and ice cream anymore, but we had a bit of a sweet tooth haha. I ordered their birthday cake smashed donut and my LTP ordered their pebble rebel smashed donut. He originally wanted to go for the strawberry smashed donut but changed his mind and went for the pebble rebel. We gave the cashier our names and then he told us that it would be ready in a few minutes. Once our smashed donuts were ready, the cashier announced our names through the loudspeaker and gave us a rule; grab that first bite with your hands instead of a spoon. And that's exactly what we did. These donuts were really good and very colorful. Mine were topped with small birthday cake squares and my LTP's were topped with pieces of Fruity Pebbles and Trix cereal. What an experience! As soon you walk in, someone will yell "YO!!!!" I wasn't expecting that, and I should have asked if I was supposed to say "Nutz" in response. Next time I'll check. The staff genuinely seem excited to work here! The guy who took my order rang a bell indicating I'm a first timer, and he happily walked me through the menu. Since they're known for their smashed donuts, I ordered the Biscoff cookie butter one. Basically they press the donut so it's nice and warm, then put the ice cream in the middle, then add the toppings. Note that there is a rule when you pick up your donut; you have to take your first bite by hand, no spoons. And if you order a milkshake, you have to take your first sip with no hands. Such a fun idea! About my donut, wow! It was everything I thought it was gonna be. Mix of warm and cool, plenty of cookie butter flavor. Nice and chewy. When looking up available desserts in LV, I saw Yonutz in several reviews so I decided to try them out firsthand for myself the next time I drove by. We ordered two smashed donuts, cookies and cream and strawberry shortcake. Both were a 3.5/5 for me; I wished the donuts were warm and crispy, made fresh to order (like Duck Donuts and Holey Grail Donuts) but they were room temperature and more doughy in texture. They were the best ice cream donut sandwiches I've had but not worth shelling $12 a piece. Overall, smashed donuts were okay and overpriced for what it was. This super cute donut shop offers amazing customer service with an up-beat atmosphere. I've been to this location before, but this was my first time trying out their smashed milkshakes. I ordered one of their Pebble Rebel milkshakes which was very good in flavor but the fruity pebbles tasted a bit stale. I usually get their maple donuts (my favorite) but they were sold out, so I got the chocolate glazed one and it was quite tasty. Donuts are good. The creations are fun. Had the strawberry shortcake, it was good. Definitely a place to smack tf out of your sweet tooth. But I wanna talk about the service. In an era where our younger generation fall easy to providing pretty indifferent and dismissive service, this place was not that. These two guys working behind the counter an hour before close treated me as if the restaurant was full and popping (context: it was just me). I mentioned that I needed a minute cause it was my first time, they rang the cow bell. While waiting for my smashed donut, they used the mic (the place is small so didn't have to do that) and even mentioned that they usually ask first timers use their hands to try the smashed donut which I did just cause why not. All in all, I was expecting some kids who wanted me in and out without thinking twice about my experience, but instead these kids gave me a pretty fun memory that would make me wanna take my friends (especially those with kids) here. (Also, just a small fyi, it's stimulation overload in there so be ready. We got the 48 box of minis with full variety of flavors. You can choose or have them choose for you. This is perfect for parties as the minis are the perfect grab and go size for large amount of people. Their donut base was just alright. It's more on the dense side and a tad dry. The only difference is the toppings that makes it "different". For the price I feel like there wasn't anything outstanding for the donut quality. This place is rad. We were vacationing and my kid saw this place on IG and put on the list of places he wanted to go while in LV. Brooke was our server and she was an absolute doll! She was clearly working by herself and was an absolute trooper about it. There were a few orders happening while we were there and she stayed positive the whole time. We are a family of 5 (2 adults/3 Teens) so it was a large order. She handled it in stride and got our food out quick. Ok, now onto the food. We ordered cookies and cream, strawberry cheesecake, and pebble smash donuts. Then 2 regular ice cream filled with banana and I can't remember the other. I also grabbed a small simple strawberry milkshake for taste testing and it tasted close to playdoh.
