$$-$$$ For a Friday night, Yoon Sushi was really hopping! We were extremely lucky to grab the last two top table! My new son-in-law and I were able to enjoy three sushi items from the menu along with great service by Juan. it is a very small venue, so there was a line out the door in no time. The ceilings are nice and tall, and it is very airy. They do have a sushi bar where you can watch the chefs create your dish, but we got a nice little table where we could talk and enjoy a meal, although the next table was literally an arms length away... Which is my experience in most restaurants. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys sushi, both cooked and raw... But be prepared to wait. http://yoonsushi.com/YoonSushi_full_menu.pdf Enjoy your travels!

Over priced Ordered soft shell crab, truth I don't even know what I was eating did not taste like a crab at all Sushi is not a full roll. It looks like a half roll. They were so thinly cut. Not coming back I was nice enough to leave two stars Wanted to leave only one

The best sushi in the area--everything is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite. The service is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

We arrived about 5PM and this place was already packed so they took or phone and called us when our table was ready (about a 20 minute wait). We both wanted something like hibachi without the show, so my wife ordered the half portion of Chicken Teriyaki and I had the Yakiniku (this sliced rib eye steak). We both chose the salad with ginger dressing that comes with the meal. My wife really liked the salad and I thought it was decent but a tad too much vinegar. When the entrees arrived the portions were a nice size. The vegetables were shredded with a bit of sauce. The rice was along the sushi style being drier than the typical steamed rice. We also ordered a Dragon roll (freshwater eel with tempura shrimp, avocado, and cucumber) which was good. The staff were friendly and the seating (all indoor) was comfortable. With tables and bar seating options.

I don't understand how someone could rate this place a 1 star. The customer service and food was absolutely perfect, I was craving some good sushi and my gut brought me to yoon sushi and I was very satisfied.

Idol Roll- amazing! And my California roll with eel on top. Wish i would have taken a pic of my salmon sashimi. Yum

10 out of 10 every time. The freshest sushi and the greatest service. From their ginger salad to the best sashimi and rolls. Everything is good.

We are unable to visit the best sushi in North Atlanta suburbs enough. The roles are always outstanding. Great family owned with excellent service and great family and or couple atmosphere. Yoon is a must have !

We wanted to try a new place for sushi and we are so glad we did. This place is so good, like I was…read moresurprised it wasn't packed. We started with the gyoza and the tempura calamari (comes with a wasabi mayo sauce). The udon soup is huge and so worth the price. The broth is fantastic, toppings are awesome, the tempura you get was perfectly fried and came out hot. And if you need to know about the sushi rolls definitely get them, so much more filling and quality then I have gotten at similar places around the area. Service is good, the people working there are always on top of making sure that you got what you needed and that your food came straight to you when it was give ln to them from the kitchen. Ambiance is good. The outside you can tell it used to be a Waffle House, but inside they have some amazing decorations. The bathrooms are super clean, and for the lil ones they have some stuff running on the tv they have. Spend your money here, you will for sure be leaving knowing it was money well spent. For sure they will continuously get my families business.

From the outside it looks like a converted Waffle House so my hopes for ambiance weren't super high but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised! Our table of 4 shared 6-7 sushi rolls, some apps and a bento box. The sushi rolls were all some of the best I've had in Atlanta. The freshness, the combination of flavors and the incredible variety were all exceptional. The service is pleasant but not over the top. I love Diet Coke and the fact they sell by the can is not my favorite option but I'll deal with it because the sushi is so good. The chicken katzu bento box was just average but everything else was really good.

A decent hibachi restaurant. The flavors were good, which helped elevate the adequate ingredient…read morequality. I started with the Shrimp Tempura appetizer with some scrawny shrimp with a weak dipping sauce but the coating was nice and it came with tempura slices of sweet potato, onion, and a broccoli floret. I had a bento box for my entree and it came with a soup and salad. The soup was tasty with nice mushroom slices. The salad had a flavorful ginger dressing, but it was very thin and watery and filled half the bowl after I'd finished it (see photo). My bento box was the steak version with upcharge to fried rice. The meat was tender and tasty and cooked with onion slices. The rice was okay, sparse on egg, peas, corn, etc. The yum-yum sauce that accompanied it was quite watery. It came with a tempura shrimp and vegetables that were also on the appetizer. The California rolls were disappointing with poor quality sushi rice that wasn't cohesive. The ingredients were flavorless, and even the wasabi was incredibly bland (how can that even happen?!?). The dab of pickled ginger was good. My waitress was attentive and ensured I got refills, up to the point that I got the bill, and she never bothered to offer a to go cup or refill. Processing the payment took a lot longer than expected, especially considering there were no patrons in the restaurant at the time. They have a combination of booth, table, bar, and hibachi table seats. The table that I sat at had it's finish marred and had a rough an unpleasant texture and needed refinishing.

Location: convenient to those in the Canton area…read more Parking: ample Decor: meh. A previous reviewer mentioned it's dark in the restaurant. It is well lit in eating areas but the rest takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. Service: ok. Prompt. No rudeness experienced. We were not ignored. Food: ok...here we go: Miso soup: great. Say what you want about miso, this hit the spot wonderfully. Salad: lettuce and dressing. A carrot sliver or two. Nothing awesome. Hibachi: YES! I don't eat rice, so I can't comment on that. The meat (filet and shrimp) were delicious and the steak cooked to perfection. The veggies were delicious and plenty. Price: lunch was about $50 for my wife and I, including tip. A single person drinking water could easily get a big meal for $20 to $25 (including tip). Would I go back? Yes.
