We have been going here for years now so I think we know the good and bad. Always order the fish and chips and its always a treat. Mustards hotdog fries are better than the chips here, but the fish and chip combo is still a winner. If you call ahead before they open, it seems like they wont start your order until almost opening time, so thats a drag but it is what it is. Will still come back though

Fish and chips were terrific. We also tried the combo with fish, shrimp and scallops but forgot to take a photo. Everything tasted terrific - highly recommend.

My fav fish spot so far in Denver when Im craving fried fish. Its a quaint spot on Pecos with enough seating to please those with some time to sit and eat freshly cooked seafood. The also have shrimp, oysters and more but the fried cod is my fav. The batter is light but firm and the fish fresh and tender. You can ask for salt, malt vinegar and tarter sauce. Orders come with fries and the portions are ample. You can also just get the seafood. If you call ahead you can avoid the 5-7 minute wait to get your to-go order made. Hated to tell you all about it cause it'll get too busy!! LOL The guys there are friendly and efficient.

We stopped on our way back from Water World and this place was amazing. It's a no frills with everything fried kind of place. It seemed on the pricey end but everything was really good. I've never even eaten fried scallops before and they were good. The portions were more than enough and they have a handful of tables but it's all really basic. We don't live anywhere near here but if we passed by again, I would definitely stop

The #1 sign that you're a family of owned business ... the family name and number is posted on a sign, without an area code. The fish is freshly fried, white flakey never frozen and it's huge - 10-12" long. Service is quick and friendly - they take pride in their restaurant. There's plenty of tables if you want to dine in - nothing fancy but everything you need. Right off 270 its convenient and if you want to save 5 min, call ahead for your order.

A rare gem of a fish & chips shop. I drove by a few months ago and checked Google. They are not a chain and have been in business since 1971. This is a bare bones diner. No touristy wall art, just simple tables with wood chairs and a good AC system. I got 2 pieces of fried Icelandic cod with chips (French fries) for $ 19.90; It seemed to be a high price until my order was ready. Two large pieces, about 6 oz each. The fish was not pre-battered because I could see an uneven amount on 1 piece. The fish was hot. They gave me 2 tubs of tartar sauce and malt vinegar was available at the table. Underneath the fish was 12 fries and batter crumbs. I added a cup of clam Chowder and a Mexican Fanta Orange soda. The Chowder was excellent. Equal parts of clams and potatoes with a creamy sauce. It was not oversalted. The Fanta was the true Mexican version, just sugar. No high fructose corn syrup. You order at the counter and Shaun called my ticket number about 10 minutes later. They accept cash and debit/credit cards. Other fish includes shrimp, clams, oysters and scallops. Plenty of sides. They have soft drinks, beers and mini bottles of wine. They also have desserts. You can get family packs of fish & shrimp. So my total was $ 27.35 + tip. A very good deal. Note: They fry in peanut oil.

I've had a lot of fish and chips in my life. This was the best I've ever had. The fish tasted fresh, it was freshly fried and the flavor of the breading was amazing. The fries were a little lackluster though but are really just a side piece anyway. The fries weren't freshly made so that was the only problem. I will be back.

2 pieces of fish and fries for $20. I can't tell if they're joking or not. What is going on in this country?

Portions are so small and prices are so extremely high. Very disappointing for a long time Colorado Native customer.

Great fish and chips. Better than place I tried in London. Would recommend it to someone from out of state.

The fish must be genetically altered because these fish things are huge. Could be seasoned a little more but I was happy.

Better than GB's. Oysters were tasty. Portions are huge. Not cheap that's for sure but I didn't need anything else to eat that day.

The waiter had the kitchen split the salad for us. First, the French onion soup was a bowl but it was very good. I like getting the soup at all the restaurants we go to to see how well they are made. This one was very good. The wedge salad was good and it had chunks of blu cheese which I like. My wife had the teriyaki salmon. She said it was very good and would get it again. I had a filet with a lobster tail. The steak was cooked medium rare as I asked for so they did a great job with that and the lobster was good as it's a lobster. Now for the side we got and highly recommend the black truffle Mac & cheese. I don't know how to describe it but it was good. We also got the Parmesan broccolini which was cooked on a grill and was good. To finish the evening we ordered the crème brûlée. It has seasonal fruit that my wife ate and I had the cream dessert. It was much bigger than what I was expecting. Overall this was a great dinner and if I am in Denver again I would come back.

We tried this place with some visiting family members on a Saturday evening with a reservation…read morebefore a show at DCPA. We were seated in a private room which was very nice and quiet. The service was just okay for a restaurant with four dollar signs (should be five). I expect the very best food and service at this price point. I've had better service at family style restaurants. The goat cheese ravioli was good, but not worth $23. We also tried the Brussels, smoked Gouda tater tots, and the steak tartare, neither were exceptional. $10 for a mediocre, small, lukewarm bread basket is insane when you are already paying crazy prices to eat there. It should at least be fresh and hot. I tried the Blackened Snapper with Corn Spoon Bread, Haricot Verts, Red Pepper, Corn Emulsion. It was delicious and cooked well. Although it is pretty easy to make something taste good when it's literally swimming in a butter sauce pond. All in all it was an okay experience but was the most expensive food I've ever had. It was definitely not worth the almost $900 we spent for 7 people. I usually try to stick to family owned and small businesses, because corporate chains always seem to disappoint, and this one was not an exception. There are much better options at this price point in Denver.
