    Adult art party !
    Jeannie P.

What a fabulous idea! I had my grown up bday art party at young art. In the beginning I was a bit nervous. However, everything turned out fantastic! The staff Jenna and Asha were friendly , professional and accommodating. They provided all the art supply so me and my friends could show up in style and have fun. The art studio is conveniently located inside of the Westfield mall. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to have a creative and memorable birthday party !

$40 for the slime and they can't even afford to give a jar for the slime. They stick it in a little plastic bag and the slime is no good after. Sad the slime kitchen closed down.

My kids have been coming to this studio for the past few years and they absolutely love it. The can do a variety of fun things here and they always have new things to try. The pricing was a little confusing at first, but once you understand how it works, it is a great way to entertain your kids. The staff is always so friendly and happy to help. We have been here for birthday parties or just for drop in hours and they never disappoint. Our latest adventure was to participate in the mommy and me classes for Mother's Day. As the mom, it was so fun to spend a quality hour with my child (each individually) doing what they love. And to top it off, we went home with a pretty cool memory from the day. It was definitely one of my most memorable Mother's Day celebrations. We will definitely be back.

We love coming to this Art studio!! The teachers are great and my kids love the options available - clay, slime and canvas paintings. The location and hours are convenient too. It is a bit expensive but affordable if you buy class pass. Overall, well worth your investment.

I've been taking my child here for a while now and it has always been amazing. I got to spend time with my son for the Mother's Day Session and it was so much fun. The staff like always are so sweet and amazing at what they do. I absolutely recommend others I bringing their children here

How can I use my 5 hour package to book a session? Are reservations required to use the pass?

You can make a reservation as a member with credit using our open table booking system here: https://www.opentable.com/r/young-art-reservations-santa-clara?restref=1269442&lang=en-US&ot_source=Restaurant%20website…

Can they go for more than 2 hours?

Yes! We offer 3 hour and 6 hour camp sessions. We also offer Family Class Passes which allow you to purchase hours in bulk (5, 10, or 20 hours) and use them at your convenience in increments that work for you.

How helpfull is this for 3 year old?

3 years old is a great age to start art! We start as young as 1, but our 3 year old students are usually able to start grasping basic art concepts and gaining key motor skills. We recommend a 15-30 minute lesson for this age group!

They had heart shaped silicon molds for making cupcakes, stickers, gift bags and decor. They also had valentine hair accessories. I found a cute hair clip that I wanted to purchase. All the valentines items were 40% off, which was a great deal. There was a small section of St. Patrick's Day items, as well. At the checkout you have the option for self checkout or checkout with an employee. There was a customer being helped at a register and two were checking out at the self checkout. An employee directed me to an available self checkout which worked out great. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes total. I really love that they offer self checkout. I remember in the past when you'd have to wait in a crazy long line with only two registers open. The self checkout eliminates this long wait. It makes the shopping experience so much better.

I finally got around to framing it and went to the Michaels location off Coleman. I was thinking that I could get a frame off their shelves, but I quickly realized that the poster had uncommon dimensions. I had no choice but to get a custom frame for it. I was assisted by a young gentleman, who was very friendly and helpful. I'm the worst when it comes to making decisions. I have to analyze every little thing, and then I get stuck in analysis paralysis. The associate was so patient with me, and he didn't rush me through the process. I also feel like he didn't limit me on variations of frame colors and matboard. He brought out everything to ensure that I had considered all my options. I relied heavily on his guidance and settled on an elegant thin silver frame with a blue mat. I called Michael's a week after the expected due date and was informed that it would be ready the following day. I was glad to see that the gentleman who helped me with my custom frame was the same person checking out my product. He carefully laid the framed print out, and I was stunned by how amazingly cohesive the frame and matting looked with the overall print. It was honestly perfect. This was my first custom frame job EVER - not just from Michael's. I was so pleased with their customer care and execution that I would not hesitate to go to Michaels Coleman custom framers!

Contacting via email with the team was seamless when asking for a discounted price and ensuring our reservation was confirmed. Going in meeting our instructor, Jamie, was great. She was very chill & let our creativity speak. She was very helpful when it came to teaching and explaining. Her lamps were super cute ! The lamp making itself is worth the cost, you come out with a beautiful piece of art that you created. Once you turn the light on the design looks amazing, even if you originally think differently ! As for the minor improvements. We had to call to figure out how to get in. They said they we should have gotten an email about how to enter, but we did not. The other party that came in also didn't get instructions. So we walked the whole square. Entrance will be the gate closest to the main parking lot, on your right. Ask the staff for the code before going in. Also, DO NOT park in that parking lot or you will be towed. The signs were so small, we didn't know but Jamie informed us. Plenty of street parking ! Last, no Turkish coffee or sweets were offered though it said they were on the website. Not a huge deal breaker, but just don't advertise it. Other than that, great experience. Would come back to try a different craft event !!!

The moss art was a fun idea but I do wish they had more variety of moss and things to place. Not sure if it was because they weren't prepared for our class and didn't have all the materials or if materials are always this limited. With the limited about of material it felt pretty restricting to what you can create. Our working area was also had pretty limited lighting. They also only had power on once side of the table. We did our class with another couple so there as 4 of us total. With only having power one 1 side of the table 2 people had to glue there items on a chair and couldn't work from the table.

He would then focus on his own pieces instead of checking on how to students were doing. The classes rarely started on time because the instructor would be eating their late lunch and would consistently forget what he taught us the previous week. Because there was poor time management, we would be working on pieces and then 15 minutes before the class would end, we would be told we have to start cleaning up so everyone would rush to finish what they were doing Because there was barely any hands on instruction, I was constantly watching online videos from other pottery instructors before class to teach myself the tips I was missing from my own instructor The studio also lacked a proper storage system, so every single week we came in, our pieces were in a different place which made it extremely difficult to find our work -- I lost a few pieces because of this The overall experience has been so disappointing and a waste of time and money - if you are serious about making pottery a hobby, I would suggest looking for a different pottery studio

The class is advertised as one hour long, but after pouring the wax into the container you have to wait one hour for the wax to harden to add your decorations. The employee said we can leave and come back, but we opted to stay. Total time: approx 2 hrs 3. The music is not child appropriate. They were playing an Ariana Grande album with explicit lyrics, including the 34+35 song where she repeatedly sings "fuck me all night" . It was uncomfortable hearing that type of music with children around. In addition, the scent selection included: Sex on the Beach. The seating for tufting is also very close together and it can get a little cramped. But as I mentioned earlier, we were very happy with our finished rugs.
