I wanted to leave this review for Alonzo. My neighbors are currently having foundation work…read morecompleted, and as an engineer, I was naturally curious about the process and system being installed. Alonzo took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain the structural issues contributing to the foundation movement. I was genuinely impressed with his technical knowledge and ability to clearly articulate the root causes of settlement, as well as the engineering principles behind the repair system being implemented. He demonstrated a strong understanding of load transfer, soil conditions, and long-term stabilization methods. It's refreshing to see someone who not only understands the installation process but can also confidently explain the "why" behind it. Based on this interaction alone, I would feel very comfortable trusting his expertise on any foundation-related work. I'll be contacting the company for work on my home and would like Alonzo to work on it specifically . Thank you

I had a great experience getting the free estimate from AFS. Due to a miscommunication, I missed…read morethe initial appointment. David S., the estimator, was very understanding. We talked on the phone. I had many questions. He took the time to answer them all. With rescheduling, the office staff were always friendly and accommodating. David S. was knowledgeable and informative, but never sales-y. After the inspection, he emailed a report with the measurement data, a diagram of the home indicating where repairs would be made and several options. No repeated calls or pressure to schedule work soon. The foundation stabilization and repair options included installing helical and push piers, underpinning, the poly filler, stem wall patches and repairs. There was a lot offered and the overall total was very costly. I do understand I'm not just paying for getting the piers installed, but all the knowledge, time and coordination to get there. After the initial freak-out at seeing the cost, I know I can discuss with David S. what parts are critical and how to reduce the total. There were various degrees, like a base package versus something that had more features. Some items AFS would be contracting out, so there's potential to save if I hired those contractors directly. I believe the specialty of AFS is installing piers. If you only need foundation patching, you might search for structural concrete specialists. As some reviewers noted, utilizing AFS will be much more expensive in those situations. Ask your contact. If you're a homeowner reading this, you're probably worried about some things you've seen in your home. The last thing you need is the added stress of someone trying to get you to sign off on a project. Of course, if it was urgent...fortunately, my home isn't in danger of falling down tomorrow. I'm grateful AFS provided a no-cost, no-pressure assessment. David S. provided the data for me to make an informed decision. He didn't use any and fear or pressure tactics. When hiring a contractor, I want one that I can have a collaborative conversation with. I can't speak to the installation itself, but if I decide to go with piers, poly fill or underpinning, I feel good reaching out to David S. to further discuss and make changes to the solution. I haven't decided on what to do with the foundation. There are more urgent home repairs. I also wanted to make sure I found root causes and to make sure those were addressed. Something I learned through this process: if you're seeing signs of foundation settlement, look for areas that are wet by pushing a stick around the perimeter of the house. Even if unused, sprinkler systems, irrigation or service lines can have water leaks that will cause the soil to expand and shrink. Those lines need to be repaired or if unused, capped off. I have unused sprinkler lines running right along the back of the house! Oh, after scheduling the appointment, AFS sent a book about foundation issues. It cost a bit to send. I support reducing waste. If you don't want the book, I wonder if you can ask them not to send and email a link instead!

We were referred to Randy S through another company…read more We had an issue with our air conditioning unit & circuit breakers being exposed to a water leak from an upstairs unit (we are on the second floor). We wanted to make sure since it was a slow leak that there was no mold growing behind or inside the unit. Called this company and they were able to set an appointment for us the following day. I had explained we had a prior test done through our building's subcontractors, but we wanted a second opinion and to ensure every measure was taken before we were going to get the work done with our buildings team. Johnathan P arrived early the following morning and was extremely thorough in his work. We received a full report the following day that broke everything down as far as the visual inspection what it revealed and the readily visible water and suspected mold impact on the building materials and with in the HVAC closet. The environmental assessment was similar to the contractors our leasing office used but the surface sample mold spores taken the previous company failed to test for. Randy was supportive with our concerns was available through text messages if we had a questions and along with the report he provided us very descriptive information with what we were actually dealing with. This company was wonderful to work with and higley recommend We were in an unfortunate situation due to our living conditions that we were unable to choose this company for repairs and had to go with a quick fix from our rental property. Eventually after battling back and for with the leasing office they FINALLY had a subcontractor come out and clean all the coils to the unit as it in fact had questionable and concerning mold growth. We would not have known this if we hadn't had Adaptive Environmental Consulting Group come out and do the professional analysis that should have been done to begin with. Also, the leasing office wanted a copy of this report and we were unwilling to do so because they were not willing to reimburse us the cost of this 2nd opinion. It was a terrible situation and eventually got resolved, but apartment living you are stuck with whom they chose to take the cheapest route possible.

I asked him if the toilet leak could be causing that. He said "I dunno, it looks nasty."' I showed him the vanity. He didn't even get down and actually look IN it. He just peeked inside from afar. Then i showed him another room and said that it's musty smelling and he didn't seem to know much about that. I called someone else when he left, and right over the phone she said "of course the back up from the toilet could be making you feel sick. There's bacteria and maybe mold in there.' Ahhh. So much more pro sounding than 'that's nasty.' Also he was supposed to call if not coming at the certain time so I could put my dog away. He didn't do that and was really nasty about it when I asked why.

My…read morehusband and I bought our first home and while trying to do some minor upgrades, found mold. We panicked and our minds went to the worst. I found this company and decided to give them a try based on other reviews. everyone who came out was incredible and so friendly. They made the whole process painless and I actually really enjoyed meeting them, despite the circumstances. Each person was so kind and took care of the house as if it was their own. The thing I see other people upset with and something i didn't know going into this is that this company DOES NOT do the repairs after the remediation. This was no issue to me, and i was able to call around while they did the work and find someone local to come patch up the drywall once they were done. But if you're not prepared for that, i can see how that would be upsetting to someone. Be careful not to assume the work anyone will do and always ask every question that comes into your mind. Brandan came out first to check for plumbing issues and was able to determine that our mold was likely not plumbing, something we needed to rule out. After talking him to him about the situation and how we just bought the house, he offered to check the plumbing of the rest of the house and came back with some really good catches. Nothing major but he was able to explain what he would recommend, and gave us quotes but made it clear there was no pressure. Having someone who knew so much was really wonderful to have out and it made us kick ourselves for not having a plumber come out with the home inspector but now we have a solid plumber we know we can call when/if we need one! Brandan also said that the mold issue was now something that needed to go to their mold guy,Ruben and called him right up. Ruben was able to come out same day and give us a better idea of the situation and a quote for the remediation. The price was fair and he said he would try his best to remove as little as possible while still being safe and thorough. He was so kind as well and very sympathetic to our situation, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Ruben and Ivan came out to do the remediation work a few days later and they were amazing. They showed up on time, were quick yet also quiet, got the work done in the quoted time AND managed to save me a whole wall and builder shelves. Ruben then said he would adjust the cost of the service to reflect that as well, literally couldn't get any better. Getting an unexpected mold issue means saving any bit of money we could was huge, this also saved us on the drywall repair we had to do later. Ruben took so many pictures and took the time to talk me through what they saw and brought me into the space to show me and made sure i understood. Then when he came back the next day to pick up the fan, he took the time to do the same with my husband who hadn't been there the day before to make sure we both had all our questions answered. Plus the report we got after was so extensive and wonderful. Not everyone will put the effort into writing up a whole report, and just claim the work was done but they had sections for each step and lots of pictures. This review might sound overly positive, someone might be like they must have done something that you can critique but even my husband who can be quite picky with the work other people do, was impressed and had no comments. We were so stressed and i cant tell you what a calm presence and years of knowledge can do for people like us. this really set the bar for me and made me very happy to went with a local company. I had another local plumber come out to fix something a few days before them and did not have a good experience at all and when they called to ask me how the work went i told them i left feeling not the best. I'm so glad we not only were able to get rid of the mold BUT found a new plumber to keep on speed dial.

The reviews were really good so I decided to give them a try. They were able to fit me in on the same day while accommodating my schedule. The work described sounded like a thorough repair and the price seemed fair to me so he got to work. When he was done I was very pleased with the quality of work performed. Brandon left the area cleaner than it was before he started. The payment process was easy and pain free. I highly recommend this company if you want good quality work done.

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

He offered us the best price of the companies that responded to our initial request, which was for the carpeted stairs and two small landings, though he did have to raise the price slightly (like $20 or so) when he arrived because our description was not quite accurate. We only used their carpet cleaning service, but I was intrigued when I saw some of the other services they offer, like special floor treatments, listed on the company's van. Clearly, they do more than just clean carpets. He didn't mind when we added to our initial request and was able to quickly quote us a new, fair price once he saw the space. Admittedly, he did end up arriving somewhat after the window he had stated, due to other jobs he had to finish, but I'm sure some jobs take longer than you expect, and it wasn't a problem for us. He was fairly quick and efficient once he arrived, I thought. He started the actual cleaning process by spraying stain remover on the worst spots. He had protection for our stairs' corners from the hoses and tubes and used booties over his shoes once the carpet was wet (as one might expect). He even moved our large, heavy bed in our master bedroom by himself so he could clean the entire carpet in there (part of our updated request). I thought we were going to move it together, but when I asked about it after he had gotten started cleaning, he said he had already moved it! He was friendly and respectful. I think he took something like 90 minutes for the whole job, start to finish, which seemed reasonable to me considering the logistics and size of the job. I told him we may call him again for the one bedroom we left out, and I meant it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Momentum's carpet cleaning service, especially if you don't need them to come exactly in the window.

I'm not going to see the top screw and how your boys cracked our cabinets right away unless I get on the floor. Nasur had the nerve to say to me, "Look at it from my shoes." No I will not. Look at it from MY shoes pal! Your boys f'ed up our cabinets and you are so disrespectful that you imply that WE did it. Screw your perspective! When you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide. You, Mr. Curi, do have something to hide. The dishwasher was installed crooked and his people cracked the frame of our counter. He told my wife "I drove all the way out here from central Phoenix." Nobody cares how far you drove. We are the customer. You run the business. That's what you're supposed to do. He told my wife his guys took pictures of the screws being back in. We demanded to see them. And did we get to see them? No. What's the matter Nasur? Never tried to BS a woman with a brain? I took the picture attached. This is the top left side of the dishwasher. Then he admitted the screw on the right side was loose but according to him, loose screws don't fall out and apparently dogs don't eat screws also according to him. Your boys showed up on a Friday and struggled to get it out and never assessed the damage under our wood floors. They told my wife they'd come back on Monday and put the dishwasher back on crooked. Did they show back up on Monday? Nope! Gee, I wonder why. Could it be because you damaged our cabinets putting the dishwasher back in and didn't want to deal with it? I have $100 that says the pics Nasur took while he stood in our kitchen and insulted us in our own home will have the time stamp changed to cover his ass. This guy is a crook. I don't care how many years of experience you have. If you accuse a customer of basically fraud, you need to work on your people skills. I'm definitely telling every person I know about this garbage service we received. Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of in Central Phoenix and accuse someone else in their own home. Absolutely disgusting. Also reporting to the BBB.
