If I was rich, I would come here every single day for the Garlic Chicken Plate. I've come here several times already but my first time writing a review for it. The food hits every single time and tastes so good. Their mac salad is also to die for, seriously. Their service is also excellent and the people there are pretty cool. The ambiance, however, could use some improvement. The space felt a bit dark and lacked decor. I'd love to see them elevate the atmosphere to better reflect that warm Aloha spirit. Super happy we came here to try a local hawaiian business. Everything on the menu looked delicious. They have a huge variety of stuff including garlic shrimp, beef, loco moco, fries, etc. We ended up getting the mini garlic chicken plate. It was perfect for the 2 of us for a light lunch. It came with mac salad, rice, crispy garlic chicken, and some cabbage on the bottom. The flavor was really tasty and little sweet. Service was friendly. I thought the prices were a little high for some items. They were about $20 each for the bigger plates. Our mini plate was $12 and still a good amount of food. Found this place on Instagram and have been wanting to try out the food. Originally from Hawaii so I love to support local businesses here in LV. I had the fried noodles and garlic chicken and it was soooo ONO (delicious) the sauce on the chicken was so delicious the chicken was crunchy yet soft and garlicky the fried noodles had onion in it which is different for me but still ONO! I also had the salmon bombs and it was bomb. I did try to order ahead as I was on lunch break and no one answered but when I got to restaurant they weren't busy and was able to take my order and I was out the door in about 15/20 mins. AntidoteLV absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the environment was so fun, welcoming, and full of good energy--it just feels like a place you want to come back to. My server (I believe his name was Louis) was incredibly kind and attentive. He gave me a great recommendation for the poké bowl, and I'm so glad I trusted him because it was amazing--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also got the macaroni salad, which I am personally obsessed with, and a musubi that was just as delicious. For anyone considering this place -- it's amazing. The photos I uploaded include the garlic chicken, garlic shrimp, spicy salmon bombs (center of the table), noodles, and steak. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared. Antidote has been one of my favorite spots for a couple of years now -- even back when they were operating as a local food truck. They consistently deliver great portions, quality ingredients, and awesome vibes. The staff always bring great energy, and I've also recommended this place to many friends and family who have also had good experiences. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, the steak (ribeye plate) was extremely chewy -- to the point that my friend and I weren't able to finish it. I'm hoping this was just a one-time issue, as I've never had this experience before. Everything else we ordered, especially the spicy salmon bombs, was absolutely delicious. We spent around $150 for the table, which felt fair for the amount and variety of food. It was just really disappointing that we weren't able to eat the steak, especially since I had recommended it to friends. I'm sharing this feedback not to complain, but in hopes that management can look into it and keep ensuring consistency with their quality food. Although Antidote is not my first choice when craving Hawaiian food, we do stop by here every so often. I'm glad they have been at this permanent location, as opposed to checking their schedule online and trying to get to wherever their food truck would pop up. Ordering from here can be a struggle for me, since they put a lot of onions, peppers and chives on everything. Oh and definitely no mac salad for me! But it's all good, I just have to give my long list of what I don't want when ordering, LOL. Ribeye Plate - cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My favorite on the menu, but very expensive. Garlic Chicken Plate - perfect amount of crispiness and the garlic was not too overpowering. Fried Noodles - good flavor, noodles were not soggy and they give a generous portion. However, the bottom of the plate had quite a bit of oil that wasn't drained. Poke Nachos: always a good choice, but I wish they would give you more of the wonton chips! We mostly take our food to go, but they do have several tables in the restaurant. My only issue was the guy who was at the register. I could be wrong, but he didn't seem like he was from Hawaii. Anyway, he totally misunderstood our order. I wanted the Fried Noodles with garlic chicken added in, but he entered it in as the Bacon Fried Rice and a Garlic Chicken plate. Good thing we were able to confirm the order on their screen and correct it! We also told him we were taking it to go, but when our food was ready, he handed us 2 to go plates, 2 utensil packs and NO bag. After seeing this spot on social media I told myself I was going to pop in during my next trip to Vegas. As I walked in it was pretty slow and the guys working there were chilling. They immediately greeted me and offered me menus to look over. I opted to go with the bacon fried rice topped with ribeye. Last night I saw this restaurant's Social Media ad, featuring Poke Nachos and Spicy Salmon Bombs. (I lived on Oahu for 7 seven years, and grew to Love Hawaiian food in that time,). The food in the ad looked so good, that I took the wife there for lunch to "investigate". My findings; these two dishes are above and beyond typical Hawaiian food, the freshness, the flavors, and generous portions of fish, were so good I cleaned both plates. Was it too much? YES! I will not eat anything else for 24 hours minimum, because of the volume. Will I do it again? OH YES! This restaurant is my new Favorite 'Da Kind Grinds' they have all the standard items you'll find in most Hawaiian restaurants, but try the two I spoke of, and you will also have a NEW FAVORITE!
