So my Mom and I came over from offshore to eat here . The Food usec to be Wonderful but the last couple of times it wasn't ! The Salmon ($16.95) was dry and slaped on a plate ! Tucked away in a strip shopping center , Yuki Hana is unpretentious, however it is worth a visit! I have taken out from then several times, and eaten there a few times as well. It is a plus that it is only 10 minutes from my home, however I have been seeking a Japanese restaurant in the area and this is truly the best I found. The service is always quick and friendly, the place is clean and the food is delicious! I have tried my favorite sushi: Spicy tuna, and also eel and cucumber roll and every time it is wonderful. My friend loves tempura, and they have made a special order for him each time, without a hassel, where they only give him the fish tempura he requests. They have no problems with substitution or special orders. This is truly the best for both Japanese and Chinese food. I have tried others on the island prior to Yuki Hana but since trying them I know just where to go. They do have limited delivery area (Its a min 30 dollar to deliver to Atlantic City, however its worth the drive to get consistently fresh and delicious food. read more

Some of the best and freshest sushi an sashimi that I have ever tried! They are a small, family-owned restaurant with an extensive Chinese menu as well as Japanese and Thai offerings. Sean and Doris make excellent hosts, and this little BYOB can be as intimate or family-style as you want it to be. Once I get over the bridge after a long week at work, it is a pleasure to be able to get this amazing food delivered fast to my door, or an easy night out! First time, and not a great first impression. Customer service is eh, location is convenient. The restaurant itself is small and darkened. Seaweed salad portion is small compared to other venues in area. Eel cucumber roll was mostly cucumber and very little eel also kind of on the tasteless side. I love Chinese food, but this food was terrible! The dumplings were gummy, thick and had a lot of gristle in the ground meat. Soup broth lacked any flavor, the wontons and egg whites were just dropped in water. The only thing that was good is the shrimp egg roll. I will never waste my money there again! read more

I've given Yuki Hana several tries, but tonight put the nail in the coffin. I'm sorry to say that the food is pretty bland and tasteless. We have tried several different items on the menu over the past year or so, but each dish left something to be desired. Tonight the crispy noodles were stale and the soup was lacked significant flavor. My fiancé's negimaki was overcooked and he described it as tasting like "steak-umms." My eggplant with bean curd and garlic sauce came without the bean curd (this was quickly corrected once I brought it to the server's attention), but I still found the dish to be wanting. My wife and I had eaten here several times and food was usually OK as was the service. This evening my wife, my 5 year grandson and myself ate there and it was my worst experience ever in a restaurant. When you are ordering for a five year old it is not easy, they have a children's menu but only for take out and the waitress refused to allow us a kids meal at the table. We wanted green tea, I said I did not want any ...we got 3 green teas anyway. We placed an order for my grandson and my wife...my wife never got her meal at all. While I was eating she ordered a side dish instead of another meal. I ordered from the last page of the menu for a combination meal (pork chow main), the menu was open to it when I ordered, but because I didn't say combination meal she didn't bring that meal or those items to me. When I asked where was my pork fried rice she said nothing and brought the fried rice which was included with the combination meal. When I asked for the egg roll, which is also included in the meal I thought i was getting, she indicated it was extra. That is when I discovered that I did not receive the meal that I thought I had ordered. Consequently I am very unhappy about all of this and will never eat there again, ever! I got ZERO consideration from them over the entire meal, the waitresses screw ups and very, very bad service . And as it turns out the waitress was also the manager and i didn't even get an apology concerning any of this and certainly there was no adjustment to the bill whatsoever. IT WAS TOTALLY AWFUL! I live in Brigantine full time and I like to support the local business on the island. I am also easy going and tip generously even if I am not completely satisfied with a meal or service. However, this was a disaster and I will never get take out from there or eat there again ever!!!!!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, place is absolutely disgusting, the cook was swatting flys with a fly swatter in the kitchen while scratching his back with it! Amazing sushi! So, if you want good food, come here. It is not about the ambiance - it's just a normal place. We were staying at the Borgata and wanted good food - but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. I cannot even begin to describe how awesome the food was and am extremely grateful for the yelp reviews. We sat right at the sushi bar. Oh yes, I forgot to mention.. BYOB. By far, the most amazing option was the spicy girl roll. The fish was soo fresh. The sashimi was outstanding. The place was not crowded at all - and we got a table immediately. I would want to come back to Atlantic City just to visit this restaurant. For 3 people, TONS of food, including 1 chinese dish, 3 appetizers, and probably 8 specialty rolls or so.. we paid only $100?! read more

As a visiting young person who loves Asian food I have to say this place sucks. The service was terrible. The food was sub par. It was like I went to a crappy grocery store to get sushi. Service was below average, but the food ok. I believe a few sauces are made in house, and they do not meet the minimum standard, that other restaurants apply to their sauces. Sushi rolls had a soft and mushy texture, that could not be offset by any amount of "crunch". My eat in order which consisted mainly of General George chicken was substantial and very tasty. Two nights later I ordered cashew chicken as a delivery. Instead of chicken there were deep fried blobs of something hard and fatty and disgusting tasting. It was not chicken. I couldn't even say it was tofu. My best guess is table scraps. i'm surprised that this place has gotten some decent reviews. we have gotten take-out from here numerous times since we have a place on the island and options are limited to say the least when it comes to chinese/japanese on the island. however, each time we've gotten food here it hasn't been good at all. the fried rice is consistently poor and the chinese food was quite bland, which suits my wife just fine but i like bold flavors and some spice in my dishes, especially when advertised as spicy. the sushi is probably the best thing they have but even it has been inconsistent. overall i refuse to go back and would advise others to steer clear as well. if you really want some good asian food just spend a few extra minutes and go down to atlantic city because there are far better options. read more

Recently moved to the island. After ordering horrible food from 2 establishments on the island, we decided to order some Chinese food from Yuki Hana. We were delighted to find out they deliver and thrilled that the food was delicious!! Better than our old Chinese place back in DC! Finally, some amazing take out food on the island!! Their food is good, but on one of the hottest days in August 2016 I had family come from Philadelphia. We had been out all day and did not want to go backout in the heat for dinner. I called to place an order that probably would have totaled over $150.00. When I called I could hear that they were busy, but when she heard it was an Atlantic City address she said they were to busy to deliver to Atlantic City. During the off season they are more than happy to deliver to Atlantic City. If the women wasn't so rude on the phone and would have listen to me tell her I was going to place a large order and willing to wait her attitude would have been different. I guess they make enough money from the people in Brigantine that don't need Atlantic City people. The Imperial Garden in Atlantic City got our business that night. We're locals. We've always enjoyed their discounted lunch specials especially considering that they have a Chinese and a Japanese menu. We've always enjoyed their takeout and stopping by for lunch or dinner at Yuki Hana. Well, it's been awhile since we've been there and it sure has gone downhill. We went with our grandsons and we were all disappointed. My soup was promptly served but my wife received her egg roll about 15 minutes later. My wife received her order of edamame but I never received my appetizer so when they served my entrée, I had them remove the appetizer from our check. Three of the four of us received our entrees but they were all tepid. The food was a bit warmer after it was returned to the kitchen for reheating. I guess the food waited in the kitchen while the waitress folded napkins for the upcoming dinner crowd. The three of us were almost finished with our entrees when our grandson's order finally arrived. He was no longer hungry by that point. I should mention that we were the only customers in the restaurant for lunch at 1PM. An empty restaurant during the Fourth of July weekend was certainly a surprise. We won't be back. read more
