We came here last weekend and i must say, this is one cool place to hang out at. I love the modern contemporary feel and I love how the place is big and that they have Wii on the corner for us to play with! The only flavor I really like here was Cookies & Cream. I'm not so much a tart-yogurt person, but if you are, you might like the yogurt flavors here. Their green tea and taro flavors were more on the tart side, which disappoint me a little bit. Of all the frozen yogurt in Uptown, this is the one I prefer. The yogurt is good and they have fruity pebbles (obviously the most essential froyo topping). My ideal frozen yogurt establishment has sour gummy worms as a topping and more fruit flavors (they only have strawberry, mango, and some other weird one). When I think frozen yogurt, I think fruit flavors. I'm not a fan of these places that are 70% non-fruit flavors. This is hands-down my favorite place to get froyo. This place is always clean and tidy thanks to the sweet Hispanic guy that constantly keeps the place spotless as well as hands out sample cups and napkins to you. He is seriously the best!! They have a variety of flavors on rotation plus their signature flavors always on tap. Their toppings bar is also well stocked with several variety of things. My favorite is always the fresh fruit, the popping boba, and mochi. They charge by weight and prices have always seemed fair to me. One thing I would suggest (though not worth taking away a star) is to move that long orange bench away from the dispensers. I think I'm one of the few people that do not like the self serve yogurt idea. It always seems these spots always have melted yogurt. Although, these places tend to be cheaper. First, I circled around this spot a few times because I couldn't locate it. The Yumilicious sign was turned off or not working thus making it really hard to find at night. The music was blaring loudly inside - too loud I must say. Geez I sound old now. Their flavor choices weren't the best. I got the original tart for myself and the sugar free vanilla for the husby. My original tart was coming out of the machine half melted and didn't seem like it was cold enough to hold form. The fruit selection wasn't great - the strawberries weren't ripe so they were not sweet and kinda flavorless. 2 yogurts for roughly $8. Not bad compared to other places. Quality of yogurt here is not as good as at Pinkberry, but what they lack in quality, they make up in variety. If you like Pinkberry's plain or chocolate, don't try it here. Try instead something like the advocado, which is tart but has a subtle taste (it's by far my fave flavor here). Also, this place offers you freedom to choose the quantity and variety of flavors and toppings, since you pay by bulk. Because it's self-serve, the line moves more quickly... add this to the fact that the space has a lounge-y feel, Yumilicious is an awesome place to people-watch on the weekends. Only Pinkberry and Yogurtland top this place so far... As far as self-serve go, this is my 2nd place although taro here is better than @ yogurtland. I usually get the original tart w/ strawberry, blueberries, and mochi. I sprinkle some fruity pebbles on top of the tart. I will get a lil bit of the cookies n cream and put a piece of brownie and cookie dough on top of that section. Compared to Austin prices (39c/oz) and Yogurtland in CA (23c/oz - 30c/oz depending on which part of CA), this place is more expensive @ 45c/oz. Great please, I like it better than the PinkBerry across the street. They have little cups for sampling the different yogurts, and they always have a great selection for both those into trying different flavors and those who are a little timid to try different flavors. They have everything from taro, coconut, avocado, and even birthday cake! So like I said, something for everyone. Parking kind of sucks, but that's West Village for you. I say park in the garage next to Taco Diner and just walk over, it's not that far. Or if it's a weekend the North Dallas HS parking lot is open. One thing I'm not a fan of is the change of name. I had a great experience here! I came for the pumpkin latte (new flavor) but this store un-fortunately did not have this flavor (yet). If you get the chance to try it..PLEASE DO! The Las Colinas location has it and it was HEAVEN. I will have to say, the taro here is MY FAVORITE (I mix this with tart) and I specifically come here because 9/10 frozen yogurt stores do not have this flavor. It's yummy goodness. Yumilicious is pretty standard for a serve yourself frozen yogurt shop. They usually have a great selection of toppings and lots of flavors, including multiple tart options (original, strawberry, taro, and more). The only downside of this location is that they tend to be pretty rude. They also have a one sample rule (or one sample cup) which basically means that people use it again and again. Pretty good self-serve froyo place. I got the peach tart and the original tart. They had a pretty good texture and taste. I tried the strawberry tart but felt that it wasn't tart enough for me. They had the standard toppings bar and it all looked/tasted fresh. They had posters for the bubble tea, and that is something that I may want to try next time I go. Went here after dinner with some friends and it taste better the 2nd time around. There were no weird after taste so the was a huge major bonus. Throughout the froyo fad years, Yumilicious has remained at the top of my list for their toro and avacado flavors. They must put crack in it, because I'm addicted and I always get an excessively large amount of yogurt each time I go. Also, when in season, they'll have fresh mangos, which together with the flavors listed above produce the greatest combo in froyo history. They seem to cycle flavors pretty frequently, and are always on top of keeping the machines clean and running. Many moons(years) ago, there use to be this absolute gentleman that worked here by the name of Nicolas. He was the MAN and one of the main reasons this uptown location was so great. Why would green tea be tart?! Now, I love tart frozen yogurt; most of the time I complain that the fro-yo is too creamy, but green tea should be creamy. That's my main concern with this place, the weirdly tart green tea. It just doesn't taste right. Other than that, their flavors are pretty good, and there's a good variety of them. The avocado wasn't my favorite (again, I think it should be creamier) but it's pretty cool that they have it. The taro was good and creamy as well as the hazelnut gelato. I'm excited to try more flavors though, since they have a lot listed online. I just hope they change them up soon so I can. They have a good range of toppings too, pretty standard like any other fro-yo place, but their almonds are chopped, not sliced unfortunately. Yelp has justified its existence by introducing me to Yogilicious. Tonight I chose Yogilicious over chocolate cake. You'd have to know me to know how very shocking that is. In fact, I can hardly believe it myself. I have tried multiple flavors each time (blueberry cheesecake, cookies and cream, pumpkin, strawberry, taro) but cannot get away from the deliciousness that is plain. I love that stuff. My current favorite (I feel sure there will soon be another) is plain yogurt with raspberries, strawberries, and mini chocolate chips. The first time I went a little crazy but have since learned to cool it on the yogurt and leave plenty of room for the toppings. I was warned about this on my initial visit, but it looks like I had to learn for myself. The store itself is cool and the people there are super nice. Been here a few times and while the froyo is on point they dropped the ball today, got there at 1130 and the machines were not even on waited 15 minutes before it was ready. They open at 11 but no frozen yogurt until 1145? My next complaint is the service the people who work there are very preoccupied and don't pay attention it's annoying. Yogilicious, the white person's Korean Yogurt place. Ok. I'm being facetious. Wife and I went here the other day and enjoyed ourselves. It's a bit more expensive than Yogurtland but quality was same. Yogurtlicious was actually cleaner and airy-er but yogurt taste the same. Yogurtland has more yogurt choices but they both have the same amount of toppings. Main difference I can see is that Yogurtlicious is about hanging out, playing the wii, and enjoying yourselves. Oh..and everyone there except me, my wife, and the owners were white.
