It's a little restaurant in the plaza with Kroger, but don't let that turn you away. This place definitely surprised me. I took a chance since the reviews were good, but their food actually exceeded my expectations. It's a very small restaurant, so it's perfect for a grab & go. I got the beef bento box and it was so good! I wish my sushi wouldn't have been drowned in the sauce because I didn't want it after that. But otherwise I loved everything else and it took less than 10 minutes. I'll definitely be back!

We accidentally happened upon this place and decided to stop in. We were happy with our food and while this is a counter service place they were friendly and helpful. The bento box was with red snapper and it was kinda sweet.. I'll try another meat next time. The sushi wrapped in seaweed was really good!! We will return back

I thought I'd try this place out because I did not feel like cooking. After looking at the menu, I decided to order a soup as an appetizer: KOREAN DUMPLING SOUP (small) which consisted of scallions, beef, cellophane noodles, and strips of egg. For my entree I decided to order the Hibachi with beef and chicken. Everything was just okay. I would try something else in the future, just not the hibachi. The beef and chicken were just bland and not seasoned. I was a little disappointed with my experience.

Staring with Pleasant phone etiquette: I was able to place my order and pick up within record time. Upon arrival, the food was ready and bagged to go. When I arrival home, I was pleased to know that Everything was accurate and they provided ample condiments. This is often the problem with many pick up items at other places. It was definitely made to order because the food was fresh and hot when we arrived home. For the price, we had plenty of food, so much that we were able to have left overs. The next time I am craving Asian fusion, this will be the place to go!

I stopped in for lunch today and ordered the Chicken Hibachi and the Vegetable Dumplings. My phone was prepared quickly. The Health Inspection Score was 100. The place is very clean and there is a lot of parking given the shopping plaza location, but the food could've been better in terms of taste. I just felt like my chicken wasn't done and the hibachi vegetables were not true hibachi vegetables---they are steamed. Also, my dumpling seemed like they were undercooked or something I could've bought in a grocery store and heated in a microwave at home. At most, it is mediocre and not full of the true hibachi tastes. I unfortunately do not think I will be returning.

Ordering through their website was easy and the food arrived surprisingly fast, which immediately lowered my blood pressure. We ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl and the beef MeatBowl. The restaurant offers both dine-in and carryout options and works well for solo diners or families. I dined in alone and found the noise level manageable; it was only loud when other customers were, so I was able to read and enjoy my meal. I ordered the pork egg rolls, brisket pho with added steak, and a peach soda. The egg rolls were just okay: on the thicker side, with a very small amount of dipping sauce. Some of them didn't seem fully fried and were still cold in spots. The pho itself was flavorful, and the brisket was exceptionally tender, easily some of the best I've had. The peach soda turned out to be sparkling water mixed with a peach jam or syrup, which wasn't quite to my taste.

The dumplings soaked up the butter curry sauce beautifully, making every bite indulgent. * Fried Dumplings: Crispy on the outside, tender inside--an excellent contrast to the saucy momos. * Soup (Thukpa with Veggies & Chicken): This was the star of the night. Warm, hearty, and nourishing, it felt like the kind of soup that could cure any ailment. * Beef Fried Rice: Comfort food at its finest--fluffy rice, well-seasoned beef, and balanced flavors that tied the meal together. Multicolored prayer papers draped across the ceiling created a festive, spiritual atmosphere, while prayer wheels lined the walls with scrolls of prayers tucked inside. I shared the Karaage and Korean fried chicken with my friends and didn't find either to be something I would reorder, however I will say that my friends all spoke highly of the Korean fried chicken. For my main, I had the Wagyu Maki and it didn't live up to the expectations or price at all. We finished off with the mochi which was very tasty. I'll caveat this all with adding my friends who had the ramen and fried rice enjoyed their meals a lot more than mine. This could be a result of just ordering better items or just having a one-off bad experience myself. Overall, I think if you're avoiding seafood then Yakitori Jinbei might not be the best place to try in my personal experience.

5/5 Yakitori Janbeli…read moreI was in town for a business trip and decided to give Yakitori Janbeli a try after seeing all the glowing online reviews and the Food Network hype. I stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 8 PM, placed a call-in order, and it was ready in about 20 minutes--super convenient! I went with the fried rice and the Korean-style fried chicken. The place has a nice moderate-sized space with pleasant outdoor seating, and the staff was really friendly when I picked up my order. Once I got back and dug in, it was clear they use super fresh ingredients, and everything tasted like it was made to order. The fried rice had nice, layered flavors, and the chicken had a clean, crisp bite with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. Honestly, I couldn't quite see what all the major hype was about, but it was still a solid, good-quality meal with great presentation. That said, given the other more affordable options in the area with better portions, I probably wouldn't go back on my next visit. Would recommend if you're looking for fresh, quality ingredients in a convenient spot!
