It has been 11 months since I originally called Yuri of Yuri's plumbing to install a reverse osmosis water filtration system. I knew from that first job that Yuri is a professional, courteous, efficient, fair-minded, honest business man. He shows up when he says he will. He completes the job. And he's very thoughtful. About six months after the water filtration installation job, the dish washer stopped working. Again, I called Yuri and he was a great help. He procured a nearly exact replacement machine, removed the broken one, and installed the new one within a week. On top of this, he charged a very fair price . Again, I was very pleased with his service, accountability, and efficiency . More recently, I had some small tasks which I wondered if he could be of further assistance. Installed the wrong type of pipe behind our pot filler, which immediately resulted in brown water flowing through. He told us just to let it run and that it would stop, but after a few months we texted him to say it was still happening and to come look at it. He responded asking why we didn't tell him about it sooner -- clearly forgetting this was an issue from the moment he installed it. That was not surprising -- he had a horrendous and negative attitude the entire time he did the job. So we had another plumber come look. All he did was take off the cover and saw that Yuri had installed the wrong type of pipe -- it needed to be galvanized metal and was not. So we called Yuri back to fix it because the new plumber was going to charge $1,000 for something that should have been done correctly the first time. He walks in, sees that the cover is off and immediately starts saying he won't be responsible because someone else touched his work. All they did was take off the cover -- someone didn't come in and replace the pipe he put in with the wrong one ... The guy is unlicensed and told us he therefore had no responsibility to fix this. So now I'm spending another $1,000 to fix what he failed to do correctly the first time. He should be embarrassed and ashamed -- BUYER BEWARE! Do yourself a favor and use someone else. read more
