The ladies at this salon stand all day... For hours at a time. I don't see anything wrong with them sitting when they are between customers. Regarding the mopping- are you so sure something didn't spill and they were simply cleaning it up to ensure the salon was clean for customers? Just got home from getting a Brazilian and my underarms waxed. I seriously had the best experience! The young lady was SO sweet and gentle, I've been to a couple people for my Brazilian but she did the absolute best job! when I went to check out, the man at the counter told me that they add 18% tip automatically. My service was totaled $60, so my added tip was $11. I found it odd that they would automatically add this without any notice. I looked around the salon and there was no notice advising customers about this automatic tip charge. Tips are OPTIONAL and not required (but recommended of course). I actually did not have a problem with paying the extra $11 because I truly had a great experience. I just wanted to give a heads up about this random "rule" the man implemented last minute. I truly hope the lady got her tip! she deserved it :) I'll be back, and next time I'll give a fatter tip :) read more

Just wanted to warn you all that they have been doing fraud in here. When I went a different lady attended me and she didn't know I was a regular. She over charged me and I said no that's wrong. And she said oh I have included my tip already and I said I was like what... and if I wouldn't of said anything I would of tipped her twice. They also never give me an itemized receipt usually they just give the one with the total amount charged to the card and since I had pointed it out this time she gave me an itemized receipt. I usually get my face waxed and it's 30 and I give a $10 tip. So if I hadn't questioned her I would of done it twice and I was like they probably do this to a lot of people. So be aware. read more

I stopped by quickly during my 1-hour long lunch break because I needed an eyebrow clean up and I work near the area. I looked on Yelp for help finding a place and this place seemed like the most convenient. Since 2017, I have not had luck finding the perfect brow artist for me until today. My eyebrows are considered thin, so I like to keep them as thick as possible. I have been getting full face waxes and threading for over 15 years and the service I received from Sonia is by far the best that I've received. Sonia is extremely patient and professional. She fixed the shape of my eyebrows after they got screwed up from a bad wax and over tweezing. But after my experience yesterday I am never everrrrr coming back. The owner or the way they do business is so shady. Yesterday I went and decided to do dermaplaning. I'm taking my engagement pictures this weekend and i wanted to make sure my face was flawless. The price on their said $67 dollars. He never explain to me before hand what was of wasn't including. I laid down and the lady did the treatment. Once she was done she said ok next is 10 minute massage and then a clay mask. I was like ok. I was never given an option nor was I even explained the cost beforehand. They had a flyer with the price of 67 and that's it. Once we were done she gave me a hydrating mask serum and said here put this on your face in the AM and PM. So the guy rings me up and to my surprise every service was a separate cost. Had i known that i would've opted out of the massage AND mask. My cost ended up being $139 which is double than what was advertised. I was in such a rush because i was on a time crunch that i paid silently and didn't argue. This to me is extremely shady. I get you're a business and you have to feed your family but so do i. I don't have the luxury to be dropping $139 without being told I am. It was extremely disappointing and my mom,sister, and I will not be returning every again. I hope you not explaining the cost upfront was worth losing business. Please change that. It is not fair to the customer. read more

It was unprofessional and uncalled for. I have NEVER experienced such embarrassment with the customer service like I received today. I will NOT be going back there and the fact that this worker say nothing wrong with what she said blows my mind. I have just recently had a baby 3 months ago and I don't care if she believed we were like "family." Been coming to this place because I get a facial wax with thread clean up $40. However, last time I was there nobody wanted to do my wax and I say this because they kept arguing or excusing themselves in their native language over who was going to do my wax. I felt offended and uncomfortable because I could tell they were talking about me and I couldn't understand what they were saying. I asked them what's the problem and one just said "she's going to do your wax" I was very confused on who was going to do it. I started with one girl who only did my eyebrows then I got sent to the other girl who always does my wax but I rather have the 1st girl do it bcuz the usual girl is way too rough. She's pull too hard before and my skin peeled off leaving me with irritation and scabs on my face. I talked to the manager the day after when the scabs showed up and he ended up giving me a free wax after a long conversation over the phone. He was very hesitant about fixing what that girl did to my face. I kept on wiping off the wax with my fingers on the areas I had told her NOT to wax bcuz that's where she pulled off my skin last time. She gave me tissue to clean off my hands. She rushed thru the thread clean up, was rough like usual, and didn't even massage my face with lotion or whatever they use afterwards. Only one time I was happy with my wax when this older lady named Rosie did it. She was very gentle and did short strokes with the thread and wax instead of the long rough ones like that other girl. But I haven't seen Rosie again. So yeah, not coming back here again. For a $40 wax plus tip I think I deserve to be treated better. Oh yeah and the day I got the free wax they just kept staring like judging I was getting work done for free. SMH. read more
