I've been going here to get my eyebrows threaded for a couple of years now. Hershey is my usual artist. She's great, always listens to what I want and gives me tips on how to achieve the look I want. Service is quick if you go during the week. They offer a rewards program where you get a free eyebrow service after several visits, which is dope. Came here for the first time. I got eyebrow and lip done. The girl was very harsh and actually had me teary eyed. I left red. It was a little bit more pricey than what I'm use to paying. The girl did try to sell me some package but I wasn't interested in paying $70 for 5 sessions. They offer other services as well. I don't know if I will be back to try maybe another girl. read more

Trainee brow technician, misinformation, rude and arrogant management. In my years of having my brows done, never had I had someone asking questions on what to do as they work on my brows. I'd had trainee hairstylist... but trainee brow techs? Too big a risk, and had I known, I would never had sat down. After I was told it's finished and looked at the mirror, I could not believe it. No shaping, no style, flat straight. I showed my tech, the old lady with glasses - Mona, how she could create an arch by cleaning certain areas. She then asked a younger lady (Sona) who came over and guided her. Sona stood over Mona telling Mona and pointing to different parts of my brows on what to do and how much to work on each section. I was given the hand held mirror so I was able to watch the whole ordeal; I tried not to be horrified. I politely complimented Sona hoping she would take over. She didn't. After a while, Sona went away, I was in the hands of Mona....not knowing what was going to turn out. As it was, one side ended up thicker than the other side. i was in a hurry and figure I will spend some time fixing it myself later. Then, Mona proceeded to sell me some bleaching package. Although she was not pushy and quit after I politely declined, but having to listen to her speel wasted another 5 mins. C'mon I told you I was in a hurry... When I finally get to the counter to check out, I showed my Groupon which I purchased two days before my visit. Mona did not know what to do and went away. More time wasted. A man who looked like the manager returned and told me the Groupon was invalid. Two days earlier.....Groupon had a deal for eyebrow threading for YUVA. I looked up and saw YUVA had several locations and this one on Lincoln is slightly more convenient for me. I called Tustin branch (which was the one listed on the Groupon) and inquired if the Groupon for Eyebrow they advertised is good for their Lincoln branch. Lady replied, "of course, can use for any YUVA branches in Orange." I did not know, and still do not know if YUVA is franchised or owned by one owner. It was my first time to YUVA. That was why I called. To confirm, I called Lincoln branch (where this review is written for), and asked the same question. The lady on the phone had identical Indian accent - I almost thought it was the same person I had previously spokewith at the Tustin Branch. She confirmed the Groupon as advertised was good for their location. I was very clear and specific that the Groupon I have is for eyebrow and asked if I needed an appointment. She said just come right in. So, the Indian manager did not budge. He stated they accept Groupons only for a different service. That nailed it. They are familiar with Groupons and does advertise with Groupon. He went on to argue the info over the phone was "human error" maybe his staff did not hear well. So,his solution is for me to pay the listed price they charge and then go get a refund from Groupon (after Mona already viewed the Groupon). His idea of fixing his staff's mistake is expecting the customer to pay for it. He was not interested to listen how his staff had miscommunicated and given me the confirmation for the service. Then, he got personal and started calling me a "cheat" and wanted to grab my phone from my hands. I cannot understand how can such a business operator survive. A first time customer that walked into your shop....contending not over a $200 facial package, but over a few dollars? .... c'mon, the value of a tip? Prior to checking out and speaking with the manager, I had asked for the names of the ladies and thought to myself - next time, just ask for Sona instead. I was willing to give them another try. I would not make a big deal today since I came in with a discounted voucher. ... But with the manager's poor attitude and rude arrogance, no way. Inherently, he indirectly invited me to write this review. They would rather upset a potential customer than to be fair and do the right thing, especially it was their mistake for not educating their staff. In the end, he decided to swipe my Groupon voucher. After all that fuss! And, oh ya - they wanted me to pay again on top of that Groupon for a trainee brow technician's half done work. Go figure. read more

I went in for a Brazilian wax and I accidentally went into the Salon next to YUVA by accident so by the time I figured out I was in the wrong place I was obviously late. I thought I would have to reschedule but she still let me go in after the lady who came in on time. I also didn't have to wait long for her to help her patient. Sunita was so kind and gentle. Came in today and saw pretty, I believe she's new to Yuva but do not underestimate her she does great work. She made me feel comfortable and made sure that I liked my eyebrows, she made me check them every so often to make sure that's how I wanted them which was really nice of her. Just got home from getting a Brazilian and my underarms waxed. I seriously had the best experience! The young lady was SO sweet and gentle, I've been to a couple people for my Brazilian but she did the absolute best job! when I went to check out, the man at the counter told me that they add 18% tip automatically. My service was totaled $60, so my added tip was $11. I found it odd that they would automatically add this without any notice. I looked around the salon and there was no notice advising customers about this automatic tip charge. Tips are OPTIONAL and not required (but recommended of course). I actually did not have a problem with paying the extra $11 because I truly had a great experience. I just wanted to give a heads up about this random "rule" the man implemented last minute. I truly hope the lady got her tip! she deserved it :) I'll be back, and next time I'll give a fatter tip :) read more

Just wanted to warn you all that they have been doing fraud in here. When I went a different lady attended me and she didn't know I was a regular. She over charged me and I said no that's wrong. And she said oh I have included my tip already and I said I was like what... and if I wouldn't of said anything I would of tipped her twice. They also never give me an itemized receipt usually they just give the one with the total amount charged to the card and since I had pointed it out this time she gave me an itemized receipt. I usually get my face waxed and it's 30 and I give a $10 tip. So if I hadn't questioned her I would of done it twice and I was like they probably do this to a lot of people. So be aware. read more
