honestly, very disappointed with this place. I ordered one of the rick dishes with chicken and broccoli. It was very underwhelming. the flavoring was kind of weird to be honest. the rice was cook, but the chicken was just weird. The food didn't take too long to come out, and the employee at the register was nice. the place was causal and clean, and they had a station with water, glasses, chopstick, utensils, and napkins. parking as pretty easy as well.

Young Coconut Juice

The people are always nice in there and their coconut water drink is soo yummy. The pieces of coconut inside are so delicious I tried to buy a cup of the pure coconut meat but they wouldn't sell it lol Oh well can't say I didn't try! I'm not a bigg fan of like thai food but their chicken is pretty good and the Fitzhugh location sells macaroons. I'm not sure if the other locations carry them too but I highly recommend them.

Easy 5 stars! Great Thai food, quick self serve, and plenty of seating! Enjoyed a late dinner here on Friday night and was throughly impressed with the spring rolls and pad Thai, everything was so fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be back!

Lao sausage, papaya salad, larb chicken, beef jerky
Kevon N.

I tried this place a few weeks ago my wife did a pick up order and let me tell you this was not a good example of Laos food. We got the Lao sausage, papaya salad Lao style, beef jerky and larb chicken. The food did not taste good, the papaya had a weird flavor like it's been too ripe. The jerky was super chewy and the best thing was the sausage and larb but didn't win by much.

This is a top notch quick meal. Delicious! Amazing! Each portion is a lot of food too! I wouldn't say it was the quickest light fast food but definitely quicker than sit down. You just walk in and order at the counter. We went before the hockey game and it was really good! Definitely would each here again!

Crab Cream Cheese Rolls & Pad See Ew (Sweet Soy Sauce Noodles) & Garlic Stir Fry

I love going to Zaap for their pad see ew! it always tastes so yummy! I get a level 2 spice, and it's not spicy at all. I do not have a good spice tolerance. I also got the garlic stir fry. I would pass on this as it was a little bland and I get the pineapple fried rice instead. I liked the crab cream cheese rolls! They were a nice appetizer. The food was brought out quickly. This place is good for a quick and quiet lunch.

I ordered Zapp Kitchen via door dash. The order came in a decent time and was packaged well. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken, pad Thai with chicken and fried vegetables rolls. The pad Thai was dry and I did not like how it was seasoned. The pineapple rice was better but nothing to rave about. The vegetables rolls were good. Overall: I wouldn't order again.

Drunken noodles and wings

This place is so good. I'll be back. Just know this going forward. They are located in a strip mall just catty-cornered to my hotel I was at. Within walking distance, but just not in this heat. It's brutal. Walked in and it's quaint. Not huge and not small but comfortable. They have two counters a self service and a full service. I had scoped out the menu so I knew what I wanted. The crispy wings and drunken noodles. The wings were super crispy and full of flavor, my only beef was they were overcooked and pretty dry. Flavor 5/5 stars, but the overcooked made them not the best texture wise. Drunken noodles were perfect. Heat was great, i got a level 3, veggies were good and sauce was delicious. Great little restaurant if you don't want overpriced hotel food. See y'all next time im in town!

Wall art!
Charline N.

I was extremely happy with my order at Zaap, they had some of my favorites and the uncle/dad cooking in the back made it all seem worth my while! The food I ordered came out extremely delicious, I was serviced at the counter by someone who def knew how guide me to the perfect dish. I ended up ordered Nam Kaow and Pad See Ew, kept everything mild! At first, the ambiance gave me old school Pei Wei, but that all changed when I noticed the wall art amongst other things that made me smile! Highly recommend.

Very good street style food. Good service. Ate at the eatery after counter order. Will continue eating there when the feeling hits.

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

When it came to food it exceeded our expectations. My friends and I decided we wanted to try their "Girl Dinner" offering. It included a "small" Caesar salad, some roasted corn on the cob, and half a portion of a sushi roll which honestly felt like more than half. It was plenty of food, plus it included a martini. We also ordered a couple of extra rolls and an app which were delicious, and one additional cocktail each. They were all yummy. The dessert they brought for my birthday was the tempura ice cream and pound cake and oh my goodness... we all devoured it. I wish I would've gotten an additional one! The best part was the service. Haley was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made sure we had a good time and chit chatted plenty without spending too long and forgetting about her other tables. She also escorted us the speakeasy! Top notch service. I'm already planning to come back :)

We were greeted warmly, sincerely and shown to our table by the owner himself. What followed was attentive, professional service with very good suggestions for selections they are rightly proud of. Every item that came out was outstanding, including a corn appetizer the owner sent over for us to try. The Mason roll was presented beautifully and had a hint of Thai basil,I'm craving it again. The highlight had to be the 72 hr miso marinated Chilean Sea Bass. Not only was it among the best I've ever had, it came on a bed of perhaps the best mushroom risotto in Dallas. Italian restaurants take notice, this is how it should be done. Not too firm, not too soft, perfection on a plate, and the Umami flavor filled the mouth. I would eat that every day, every meal. If you have not visited Musume, run, do not walk, and enjoy!

It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.

We showed up on a Sunday over Memorial Day weekend and were sat promptly. The space is SO well decorated and seamlessly blends both cultures. There were several people there but the overall volume was still comfortable. Our server was nice and prompt, and gave us a few recommendations when we asked. Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint. I got an Horchata to start and almost downed the whole thing at once! I also couldn't stop myself from having the wonton chips dipped in sweet and sour sauce or the green sauce. Both were delicious. Because everything on the menu looked good we went overboard with our orders. We started with the Birria egg rolls (yummy, though I think the consommé could've had a bolder flavor), then the elote dumplings which were easily one of my favorites. Just thinking about them makes me want them again! When the dumpling fiesta showed we realized we ordered too much, but we persevered. I got the walnut shrimp tacos on flour tortillas, ate them both, and even had a bite of the orange chicken tacos. The bbq brisket rolls were delicious, but we were so full at this point that it was a struggle to finish them. Lastly, we got the lava buns to go since we were too full to have anything else, but I can confirm that they were delicious when we ate them later that day. To top it off, their prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend you give them a try!

I also liked that they bring out the wontons with the two dipping sauces similarly to how you'd be served chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. The sauce is rich and savory -- the kind that makes you slow down so you don't finish it too fast.
