The people are always nice in there and their coconut water drink is soo yummy. The pieces of coconut inside are so delicious I tried to buy a cup of the pure coconut meat but they wouldn't sell it lol Oh well can't say I didn't try! I'm not a bigg fan of like thai food but their chicken is pretty good and the Fitzhugh location sells macaroons. I'm not sure if the other locations carry them too but I highly recommend them.

Easy 5 stars! Great Thai food, quick self serve, and plenty of seating! Enjoyed a late dinner here on Friday night and was throughly impressed with the spring rolls and pad Thai, everything was so fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be back!

Lao sausage, papaya salad, larb chicken, beef jerky

I tried this place a few weeks ago my wife did a pick up order and let me tell you this was not a good example of Laos food. We got the Lao sausage, papaya salad Lao style, beef jerky and larb chicken. The food did not taste good, the papaya had a weird flavor like it's been too ripe. The jerky was super chewy and the best thing was the sausage and larb but didn't win by much.

This is a top notch quick meal. Delicious! Amazing! Each portion is a lot of food too! I wouldn't say it was the quickest light fast food but definitely quicker than sit down. You just walk in and order at the counter. We went before the hockey game and it was really good! Definitely would each here again!

I love going to Zaap for their pad see ew! it always tastes so yummy! I get a level 2 spice, and it's not spicy at all. I do not have a good spice tolerance. I also got the garlic stir fry. I would pass on this as it was a little bland and I get the pineapple fried rice instead. I liked the crab cream cheese rolls! They were a nice appetizer. The food was brought out quickly. This place is good for a quick and quiet lunch.

I ordered Zapp Kitchen via door dash. The order came in a decent time and was packaged well. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken, pad Thai with chicken and fried vegetables rolls. The pad Thai was dry and I did not like how it was seasoned. The pineapple rice was better but nothing to rave about. The vegetables rolls were good. Overall: I wouldn't order again.

This place is so good. I'll be back. Just know this going forward. They are located in a strip mall just catty-cornered to my hotel I was at. Within walking distance, but just not in this heat. It's brutal. Walked in and it's quaint. Not huge and not small but comfortable. They have two counters a self service and a full service. I had scoped out the menu so I knew what I wanted. The crispy wings and drunken noodles. The wings were super crispy and full of flavor, my only beef was they were overcooked and pretty dry. Flavor 5/5 stars, but the overcooked made them not the best texture wise. Drunken noodles were perfect. Heat was great, i got a level 3, veggies were good and sauce was delicious. Great little restaurant if you don't want overpriced hotel food. See y'all next time im in town!

    Wall art!

I was extremely happy with my order at Zaap, they had some of my favorites and the uncle/dad cooking in the back made it all seem worth my while! The food I ordered came out extremely delicious, I was serviced at the counter by someone who def knew how guide me to the perfect dish. I ended up ordered Nam Kaow and Pad See Ew, kept everything mild! At first, the ambiance gave me old school Pei Wei, but that all changed when I noticed the wall art amongst other things that made me smile! Highly recommend.

Very good street style food. Good service. Ate at the eatery after counter order. Will continue eating there when the feeling hits.

Zaap. My feelings are hurt. Hubby and I were in the mood for some Thai food. We have passed by Zaap Kitchen some many times with the phrase, "We need to check them out" always peppering the conversation. So, we finally did. Honestly, my feelings were hurt. This popular(at least from the revolving door of pick-up and DoorDash orders) spot on Greenville Avenue was clean and open with some really cool decor pieces that made for a pleasant entry. The staff was kind and attentive and very patient. We started out with the Crab Cream Cheese Eggrolls that were reminiscent of Crab Rangoons, but with less flavor. Crisp and golden brown with the snap of flaky goodness in every bite, that was all it had to offer. The filling was bland(which I'm still trying to figure out where they do that at in Thailand or Lao) with not a nary bit of crabmeat in sight! Hubby had Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp that was OK? The shrimp was cooked beautifully and the rice was studded with toasted cashews, raisins(which we've never had in Pineapple Fried Rice, but actually worked) and green onions, but that was it. Once again, bland. Not to mention the fact that the price tag did not match the portion size. I had the Nam Khao, which was the only shining light of this meal. Coconut Fried Rice balls, stir-fried with cured pork, chili peppers, and roasted peanuts, served with cool crisp lettuce cups was a peach!(I know, I know, a Peach? It's Friday, try something new). The cured pork was tangy with a slight sour note that played beautifully with the sweet rice. Before the rice balls are worked into the rest of the dish, there fried! This caramelized the sugars in the coconut milk in the rice that just made the whole dish a flavor BOMB! Wrap all that up in a crisp, cool, cup of lettuce, and you've got Way More than a "Salad". All in all, what hit, hit, and what missed, missed. Maybe we need to try some some of the more popular dish and see where the rabbit hole goes. Your thoughts?

It's an unassuming location but once you step through the doors you're met with ambient lighting, wooden table tops and benches. We arrived around 11 and were greeted immediately; sat within 5 mins. Once sat, you scan the menu to order. There's plenty Korean and Asian fusion dishes to choose from. We ordered a number of things and everything was fresh and plentiful. When I walked in, the place was empty. I stood at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for way longer than necessary--especially since there were no other customers. I finally peeked in and saw two employees busy counting receipts and money at the register. (Bad Impression #1). After being seated, I was actually enjoying the music until I felt something sticky on my forearm. It was a stray bean sprout left on the table (Bad Impression #2). To make matters worse, the tables are incredibly low. Even at my height, I had to hunch over the entire time. I eventually gave up on table manners and just held the rice bowl up to my face to eat comfortably. Regarding the food: it was a bit salty. The kimchi fried rice was average, but the kimchi stew really missed the mark. That was the moment I realized this is a fusion spot, not authentic Korean. It wasn't horrible, but it's definitely different from the real thing. BUT, can we talk about the massive portions? (Good Impression #1). Everything is clearly meant to be shared. The service was actually good. They have a buzzer on the table for service, which I loved. It saves you from having to track down a waiter. (Good Impression #2). The ambiance is loud, poppy, and "hip." You better like K-pop if you're coming here. It's not a first-date spot because it's hard to hear each other, but it's a solid place to hang out with friends who like the genre. Will I come back? Not actively. But if someone else suggests it, I won't fight them on it.
