Now, there is a white board on the wall that tells you apprx. how long you'd have to wait for the type of meat or order you like -- from 10 to 25 mins wait but the food is quite worth it. So I come here often and always have a nice experience here. Today I order the beer shawarma with a shrak which is more than the pita. I always love eating this as it is delicious, but the fact that staff did not tell me they were out of shraks and gave me a tortilla kinda upsets me. The tortilla is smaller and I didn't feel like it went well with the food. If staff would have told me they were out I would have been fine and got pita. My boyfriend and I were kinda disappointed. Perfectly medium rare, tender, moist and just juicy when eaten with that garlic sauce that accompanied the meal. The rice is flavorful but should be a tad drier in my opinion. This year I did not make my trip to Turkey due to the civil unrest, so I longed for some good authentic Mediterranean Middle Eastern food and found it here at Zait Bistro. Geneva was kind enough to take our order and offer us a taste of some unfamiliar salads, which we loved so much that it was hard to make a decision and she was into different salads. She was very courteous, kind and efficient when it came to taking our order. It wasn't that much longer after our order maybe 15 to 20 minutes that we were able to eat our wonderful dishes. They use modern technology so your receipt can be emailed to you otherwise I'd be writing down exactly what kind of meal we ordered. I honestly can't remember the exact name. All I can remember is how wonderful the rice pilaf was nice and moist. The beef was cut into fine small pieces with tons of flavor. The salads were tangy and very tasty. What I completely enjoyed the most was, the garlic sauce. I sprayed it all over the fresh warm pita bread as I filled it up with all these good delights.
