I spoke with Robin today about an order that was placed a couple days ago for several mother's day necklaces. Robin, on top of being incredibly rude and uncaring about the order (that was apparently never placed), tells me that it's not their job to call customers to let them know status of their orders after I asked her why I was never contacted about my order. Sadly, this isn't the first time that I've received subpar customer service at this location but I can promise that it is the last. Anyone considering shopping at this location should ask themselves "will this transaction be anything more than buying something and leaving" because if you will require any kind of follow up or basic level customer service, I highly suggest finding a different location to shop at. There is another Zales about 15min away in the RoundRock outlets. There are also a few pawn shops in the area that have better customer service. Wal-Mart or Target may even be a good alternative choice than this location. read more

We went here looking for a new wedding set because I no longer have the set we bought from Samuels,we returned it.I was looking for a big set because I feel a small.set wouldn't do for as long as I've been married! Lol.I feel I need to go big,but on a budget that's hard to do.So I dragged my husband to this location in Cedar Park,and was greeted upon entering,and felt welcomed and not rush to look for the perfect set,We are doing layaway and Its a huge commitment. So I've narrowed it down to 2 sets,and with lifetime warranty you can't beat it.Whitney and Benjamin helped me,They were so great!! We have made.our decision and I couldn't be more excited. WATCH OUT!!!! I purchased a men's wedding ring at the end of July 2019 from Zales for around $6,500.00 after tax. Less than 6 months later they had the ring online for $2,499.00! So, feeling very taken advantage of( I know prices fluctuate but not down to that low in that short of time) so I called zales and the lady I spoke with seemed to completely agree that was a little outrageous and told me normally they'll do a price match but the amount was over her head and needed to go to Corporate for approval. She gave me a ref# and said if I don't hear from them by the beginning of the year to call them back. So of course nothing and I called back. I saved the screen shots of the price that low as proof and when I talked to corporate she told me there was nothing she could do about it and told me to go back online bc her computer showed it at the original price of $6,100 , So my girl went online while I was on the phone and sure enough the price was back to the $6,199.00 before tax. So here I am one more month later since the last incident, I have bought 5 rings from Zales over the last year and a half and this is the first ring I have decided to sell that I have bought. So I posted it asking only $5,000.00 for something barely even 7 months old and was told Zales has it posted for $4,000.00! Are you F ing kidding me??!?!So I go to Zales website and sure enough! I have spent in the last year and a half almost $60,000 ( that's not A typo) on five rings and I will NEVER AGAIN go to another Zales or spend another dollar of my money at a Zales store because of this incident. I just CANNOT believe that nobody in corporate was willing to make this right but instead they simply changed the pricing back to the original , only to change it again. I'm not even sure how much this ring is worth now and I am afraid to get it appraised because that'll just cost me more money and I'll be upset and hurt by what I am told! Wish I would have read the reviews before starting a relationship with this place. The customer service sucks, the manager is rude and doesn't know how to be professional is anyway. Its quite sad that this is the representation for Zales corporation. Its.annoying that I purchased my wedding ring from them and have to deal with them for all the insurance checks from now on. While I like their products, it's just not worth the hassle. I have unfortunately been disappointed in their customer service on MANY visits. Employees do not seem to be on the same page, and I have definitely felt like they do not really care about their customers. I realize that it's a large corporation, and maybe all of their stores are not the same, but as a leader in customer service this is a HUGE turn off. Also, there have been multiple times where I have received my product much later than promised after sending it off for repairs! Needless to say, I do not think I will be returning! read more

Slowest service ever, the computer system never works or the employees dont know how to use it. I bought the lifetime repair and maintenance back in 2002 and now they want me to bring the ring in every 6 months or they will void my warranty... how can they change the rules after 14 years. read more

I was in there to look at for a watch. But first asked if they could remove a few links from an existing watch I had on me. They where going to charge me $15 to do so... I left and took my business elsewhere, and did not pay to get the links removed in my watch.. Witch I know is very easy to do if you have to tools one hand. Zales will never get my business. I recently purchased an expensive watch ($400 ish) at this store. When I went in, we talked through a number of watches, and I did find one I really liked. The salesperson was patient and friendly the entire time. We next discussed financing or purchase. I elected purchase and completed the transaction quickly. After wearing the watch for a day I decided I wanted another link in the band. The store got another link for me, essentially overnight. The next day the link was installed expertly and I was on my way. I have since bought more items from this store. Always a good interaction. Highly recommended. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I purchased a bracelet from this place 8 weeks ago, YES 8 weeks ago and it STILL HASN'T COME IN. The first time this bracelet came in - it was hallow..needless to say , it was sent back. The second time the bracelet came in- it was the wrong one! Again, it was sent back. As i am standing there correcting the order- the manager is verifying the order and she is 1 second from ordering the wrong one AGAIN, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!! This is 8 weeks later and I still don't have the bracelet I paid for 2 months ago!!! In the last year I have spent over $3000 in zales and I will NEVER spend a penny more. They have not only lost my business but I will spread this to everyone I know as well. Regardless of the fact that the manager has apologized, she also tried to tell me I was wrong about the one I wanted...who does that. I know what I want, it's not my fault you made a mistake!! Will never go back! Took my rings to get cleaned and rhodium plated. This was my first time doing business with Zales and was a very disappointed first time customer. I paid upfront and paid a rush fee to get them back in 7 days instead of 2-3weeks. To make a long story short, it took the full two weeks and me getting very upset to get them to even look into what the problem was and offer me a refund of my rush fee. It was of course blamed on a computer system error. Will not be taking any of my future jewelry needs there again. read more

My fiance went to spend a large amount of money for our wedding set. He spoke with a very rude Store Manager her name Julia at this location. I called the store myself to complain and advised them that this review would be coming. Julia this store manager treated my future husband in an non professional manner, she not only tried to flirt with him she asked him very personal questions. He did not see the need for this type of questioning as it was rather personal and he was paying with CASH! I have dropped off my ring to this Zale's twice and both times they have sent off my ring, they always tell you that it will be back on the date that is on the receipt. however, both times that I have dropped it off they haven't gotten it back to me on the date. I called the store today because my ring was supposed to be back as promised on the receipt, and the manager of the store said that the Jared's on lake line in cedar park didn't get my ring done in the two weeks that it had been there, I then told her that I was calling corporate to make a complaint and that she needed to have my ring overnight. The lady on the corporate number that answered the phone, stated that her supervisor said that I wasn't able to pick up my ring due to liability's. I don't care that there policy's stat that, they just don't need to have slacking employees. They need to get peoples rings back on time and they wouldn't be getting reviews like this. If you want customer service, skip this store. I have never been so upset by the lack of apparent disregard for customers. On March 13, 2015 I took my husband's watch in to make sure everything was ok, the warranty was going to expire June 17, 2015. Check out the watch, make sure a new battery is installed...general maintenance. I went in multiple times asking where the watch was. I was told it had a problem with the band and they were waiting for the part. Finally after waiting for 2 1/2 months I called the repair department. It seems the repair department was not sure what was being done to the watch. The store failed to clarify the reason it was sent in. The repair sent 3, YES 3, e-mails to the store asking what was to be done to the watch. Did I ever get a call??!! NO!!!!! I told the repair shop why it was sent in and finally received the watch June 7, 2015. This was not the first time I haven't received a call or communication from the store. NEVER AGAIN. Anyone have a jewelery store they can recommend? Because ZALES lost yet another customer. read more

The lady was nice when walked in, but found out later the reason ring was such a good price it was rose gold plated but that did not bother me, cause I could ask for all gold, but what did was when I tried to call later around 3pm-4:18pm no one at all answered the phone. I like buying jewelry a lot from zales but when i went to this store it was just the worst customer service ever. I took my rings here to get cleaned and they sent them off and took 6 weeks. They never called me once to let me know what's going on. So when i cadid they told me to be patent it takes a while. I was very nervous about shopping for my girlfriends engaging ring. I knew little about diamonds. But what a relief it was working with the staff at Zales! They were friendly, patient and very knowledgable. I had no clue stepping in to the store how to choose the perfect ring. The staff was very compassionate and made it relaxing. So, my husband had bought me a ring for my birthday here, at the Zales in Cedar Park. A diamond had fallen out almost immediately. I had the protection plan so I took it back to have the black diamond replaced. Not only did the store not call me to let me know my ring was ready, but when I did go in to check up on it, they inserted a clear diamond where a black diamond should have gone. WTH??? Where's the quality control?? The sales associate was not compassionate toward the issue, but returned it again for repair. I had asked for them to please call me when it is ready to be picked up. Again, they did not call me. I went in about 4 weeks later to check up and sure enough, it was ready. The associates are all just standing around doing nothing. Really? No time to call a customer to let them know their repair has arrived, but yet there is all the time in the world to cold call to let them know there is a sale going on in January. Grrrrrr!!! And the Manager.....she's a piece of work. Was very rude. Did not greet me when I walked in, but yet belittled the cute brunette who was willing to assist me. The manager did nothing but criticize this poor girl. I did not make a purchase because of the manager, but would have in a heart beat had she not been there. That manager has GOT TO GO!!! I was reading up on some of the other store reviews, here on Yelp and it appears that if Zales replaces the manager and brought in someone who had some real customer service knowledge, then this store could be successful. read more
