The restaurant is open and I was able to get my food quickly even though they were very busy. I was able to order my food via online. This definitely save me time waiting for my food to be ready. Zankou FOREVER!!!! Our family has been a fan for over a decade. Kabob plates & tabouleh & chicken tarna & cucumber salad are our favs but EVERYTHING is delish. So glad they are local now BUT, the location is difficult to get in & out. The staff is friendly, due to the insane crowds the wait can be more than I'd like. Be patient, let them work out the kinks of a new staff. They are so popular/busy they need to be a stand alone or in a larger strip mall. So many commercial spots open, please find another Long Beach spot. read more

We came here due to a recommendation and I have mixed feeling about the taste of the foods here. We ordered the chicken kabob and nothing special as far as taste and texture of the meat, in fact it was on the drier side. The hummus was great, the portions are small despite the price. read more

This place is AMAZING!! The mediterranean food here is definitely top tier (makes Luna Grill look like ). They are extremely generous with portion sizes so you get what you pay for. Hummus is the best, especially with the garlic butter they give you for free. Great service and the restaurant is very clean:) I hope to come back soon. read more

This place is delicious! Everything we've tried here has been really good. So far some of our favorites are falafel, hummus, tri-tip shawarma, and any combo with chicken or their cucumber salad. Their chicken has never been dry, which is rare for this type of restaurant. I really recommend this place if you like Mediterranean food. read more

This location is straight trash. I did a take out today and waited upfront while they were getting everyone's to-go orders ready. Something was going on with the chicken spit that had plenty of meat left on it so I saw the guy go to other spit that didn't haven't anything on the spit but just scraps at the bottom of it and he started chopping up the scraps and threw it in a pan and placed it under the heat lamp. I was saying to myself, ain't no way that's getting served to customers. As I'm still waiting, I notice they got my chicken tarna wrap ready and I'm still waiting on the chicken tarna plate. The guy at register tells me it will be 5 more min because there is an issue with the chicken spit. I said no problem. Then the guy who prepares everything is going to the heat lamp and throwing scraps on a plate and it was mine. I honestly didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and opened it up. Hardly any chicken and it's $18 for a chicken tarna plate?' I didn't want to make a scene there so that's why I ended up leaving with it knowingly I may end up with trash. I never review places but this time I can't let this slide! Not only was it all fatty skin pieces and dried pieces, a hair was also in my plate! The Anaheim location is much better. I emailed corporate and I expect a refund! The hell y'all thinking chopping scraps up and thinking your customers would enjoy it? Especially after sitting under a heat lamp! read more

So happy there is a location here in LB that's open! I went in for the soft opening first and it was hella crowded. The staff was still training, which was expected. Although it was so hectic and chaotic, the aerobics was superb!! I ordered a half chicken plate, but unfortunately, they were sold out. The manager on duty apologized and offered to comp my entire meal for the inconvenience. I ended up ordering 2 plates of the chicken and tri-tip shawarma plates for me and my husband and again, fully comped. Thank you to the manager (who I didn't catch her name) who assisted me w/ my order. I told her I'll be back again and in the next few days, I did! Finally got the rotisserie chicken and it was delicious, cooked just right!! Everyone is now fully trained and provide great customer service! The ambiance of the place is cool too... very clean! I have been to this place twice, once when I was displaced and had to stay at the hotel across the street until my house was repaired and another time was just because. Well for my first visit I ordered a Mediterranean plate that came with a shish kabob skewer (steak) and something called a Lule Kabob skewer (ground beef) and it was amazing along with with basmati rice, a cucumber salad and something called Mutabbal (like hummus) but made with eggplant instead of chickpeas and pita bread and as I said before it was delicious. Now my second visit was exactly like the first with the exception I order double shish kabob (steak) and again they did not disappoint. So if you are ever in the area stop by and let me know what y'all think... oh one more thing please do not forget the Harissa sauce (this Smokey chipotle sauce) which is to die for and also garlic sauce that ties all this great food together. read more

Talea had a great attitude and didn't mind at all with all the questions and concerns. She help me pick out the best items on the menu which accommodated my picky coworkers taste. We placed an order online. Set to pickup at 5pm. We arrived at 505pm and the order was not ready. We were told that it would be 15 min. We waited and then when it was 520pm we were told it would be another 20 min. They said that they "ran out of chicken"! So we should not have been given a 5pm pickup if they are out of chicken. We drove 15 min to get there and another 15 min back home without any food. They could not refund the order to the credit card and had to pull cash from the register. This place is poorly run, and the staff does not care and are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They did offer my wife water while she waited... how generous! Tried to find a corporate phone number and one is not available. I guess you have to send them a letter via USPS. Never coming back. read more
