Terrible customer service. Went here to make 2 returns and the woman "helping" me at the register couldn't match the item I was returning to the receipt even though there was only one dress with that size and price on the receipt. Even after I pointed it out she had to call her manager to help her identify it. I also had to return a bag that they left the security tag on and this time she asked if I was actually trying to return it with the security tag on implying that I was trying to return an item I hadn't bought. Zara is one of my favorite clothing stores but this particular made me so upset that I will not return here. I waited in line for about 15 minutes while the sale associates just take their sweet time doing transactions. The fitting room was worse: the sale associates did not pay attention to me at all. My wife received a sweater from Zara as a Christmas gift from a relative. After wearing the sweater twice, before it had even been washed, a seam at the collar started to come apart. I took the sweater to this Zara location to see what they could do. My wife regularly shops at Zara, my wedding suit was from Zara, but after this experience I can't see either of us returning. The first sales assistant essentially accused me of stealing by stating that this particular part of the sweater is where the security tag is attached, so the location of the split seam is suspicious. What?! You're saying that ZARA PUT A HOLE IN THE SWEATER AND NOW IT'S SUSPICIOUS THAT THERES A PROBLEM IN THE SAME SPOT? I have worked in retail. I know that if the security tag is attached improperly the small hole can stretch and get bigger. A manager was called to assist. I get that it's the first week of January and the past few weeks/months of your job have been busy and stressful. But... it's your job, that's why you get paid. He was obnoxious, condescending and rude. He did not listen and then decided he had put enough time into assisting this customer, stating "have a nice day" as he walked away. This store needs better management. The lines are always very long. People who has back problems are left standing in line for so long. The store is clearly a mess when there is a sale so they should concentrate in expediting the traffic versus concentrating in keeping cash registers at minimum. The Manager seriously needs to work well with this problem and needs to understand that waiting in line for a very long period of time needs some serious attention. The Regional Director needs to observe the operations during sale so that they know what the real deal, if,,,,they have one. Not to mention that all associates do not know how to smile, greet the customers and.... attend to those who are carrying a lot of merchandise because it can be really heavy without the bag due to pandemic. I dont know what is the employee hired standard of the store manager, but CUSTOMER SERVICE is extremently the WORST ever. I've been there couple of times to shop or picked up my order. The staffs always give me that poker faces. Never ask if I need any help and give attitute everytime I ask for help. Last night I was there and asked one of the staff if the store carry the jacket that I saw online. She (petite girl, black hair, wearing white long sleeves shirt) said if I can follow her (with annoyed attitute), after checking up she told me they only have it in large size. I asked if I can take a look at it because I really want to see the material and the style if it's not too fluffy. I was about to order the smaller size if they dont have it in-store. I was hanging around waiting for her about 15 mins to get the jacket, then she walked out and ignored me, then went to do her stuff. Seriously? Forget it! I think its the average decent zara in LA and orange county. I prefer this over the one located in LA. Its not big but not small either. Store is average size and good amount of selection. Many design too but clothes here shrink easily. Minus a point because there seems to be never enough register open here. So lines may be long than should be. read more

Do Not Shop Here! They dont deserve your money. I love Zara! But the Cerritos store has the worst customer service. Employees dont make eye contact. They dont greet you or ask if you need any assistance. They all seem unhappy. I stood in line behind 6 people. The cashier repeatedly called for help and I watched at least 5 employees including the manager ignore his request. I actually spoke to the manager to complain. But I suspect that she is scared of her staff and is unwilling to address the issues. Based on the reviews, this has been an ongoing issue but nothing is being done. Let's start off with the pros; the selection is good, the size of the store is pretty large, and everything is very well organized and clean. The only issue that I have with this place is the customer service. No one greets you or offers any assistance, the fitting room staff is more interested in each other and what he/she did the night before, and the cashiers love having conversations with each other instead of the focusing on the customer. While I love Zara clothes for myself and kids my complaint is directed towards one of the store managers by the name Selena. 10 days prior I purchased a pair of boots priced at 19.99 and once at home I looked at my receipt and realized I was charged 29.99. I called and they said I just had to take my receipt in for a price adjustment. I returned and waited in a line for about 45 mins! Ac had broke down so it was hot and stuffy. The person who helped me on the phone and clearly said I would only need my receipt happened to be the cashier helping me this day and he did recall my situation and was actually very nice. He called the manager who then said I needed the tag and without it she couldn't help me. She took no responsibility for the miscommunication and literally walked away and left me standing there. The poor cashier looked helpless because I know he wanted to help but couldn't. My daughter was wearing the boots and they literally had her take one boot off even though I had the receipt on hand! I was so upset I went back to my car since my daughter had put the boots on as soon as we purchased them and LUCKILY I found the tag! If I hadn't it would've been my loss. Zara's clothing are definitely of higher quality and sell their clothing at a justified price, but their customer service can use some much needed help. I bought a shirt at Zara and paid cash for it. I continued shopping throughout the other stores in the mall and my bag kept setting off their alarms. I didn't think much of it, because I've had many cases of perfectly fine purchase that set off security alarms in the store. When I came home and reviewed my purchase I found a grey security tag attached to the side. I was annoyed, but OK it happens. So i took it to the store again the next day and asked to remove the security tag and showed my receipt. The girl at the registered looked at my funny and said the purchase was for a pair of shorts.... "SHORTS?" I had not bought anything else that day and the time stamp was clearly set for the day before on the receipt...and yet the receipt was for a pair of shorts in their system. WHAT..? They told me that they could only remove it once I called corporate and sorted through the payment. UHMM girlfriend I paid cash... how will they know I paid cash?? They didn't know either but they sent me away. Anyways I was turned away with a shirt with a hideous security tag on the side and no way of proving that I purchased the a shirt and not "shorts". I was walking to my car and being absolutely dumbfounded by the sheer ridiculousness of the situation until I decided to plead my case one more time. Generally shopping at Zara is a pleasant experience; however, this location is absolutely horrible. I was in need for a jacket and decided to get off the freeway and pick it up. Huge mistake. Walked around the store for a few minutes without anyone offering to help. The worst clothing store in Cerritos, I purchase a Blazer($119.00)and Pants($59.90) for my 17 year old son on 06/19/2016 and on 06/25/2016 I return to Zara to get him a tie and saw that the Blazer and Pants were marked down. They had a HUGE selection of discounted items - and from what I saw only a corner section of the current/upcoming full price season items. Also, if you wear XL or L, then this is your store. Everytime I shop here the line is so long, and takes an average of 15-20 minutes just to be helped. Even when it's busy, managers and other associates will be present, but not ring. There's only ever 1-2 cashiers even during peak hours, and all the cashiers look miserable and unwilling to help anyone. They never smile or use any customer service, not even asking how you are or thanking you for waiting. It's always the same cashiers as well, a Hispanic female and a middle eastern male. I used to live in Spain and I was a big fan of Zara. In fact I was surprised by all the negative reviews this Zara has. However, after visiting Cerritos Zara, I perfectly understood the reason. I bought a suit for $300, and when I was paying, they removed the hangers, and when I asked for the hangers, they said we cannot give you the hangers, seriously? on top of that, they didn't even give me a cover for the suit, they just pushed it to a crazy plastic bag!!!!! there is a serious problem here, when you pay $300 for a suit and then you get this low service. I then went to buy a dress shirt that was advertised as $39.99, then I had to wait in line for like 20 min as there was only one angry cashier that he looks that he hates his job terribly. To my surprise, the shirt price was $49.99. When I informed the cashier that the price was advertised differently, he was so angry and he didn't want to bother to verify. I then felt that I have to talk to the manager. When the manager came, it was so obvious that she was also rude, never smiled, never said hi. Anyway, when I went to show her that the shirt was advertised at a lower price, she was confused for a bit, then she said oh that must be the pants coz the tag says slim fit. I said well but those shirts are also slim fit, so she was like oops, I don't know I'm sorry about that but those are the pants. then I said, but the pants are from the opposite side, on a different stand, and the advertised price was located with the shirts, and how am I gonna supposed to know that those are the pants not the shirts. she said well, sorry but those are the pants, and she left. She didn't even try to remove the sign and put it with the pants. This Zara, in addition to the rude customer service, they also have false advertisement.
