I just started shopping at Zara again and remember why I stopped in the first place - the lines are horrendous. I don't dare shop here on the weekends. The few times I've gone on the weekdays during opening or after lunch, I've still had to wait at least 45 minutes. They should consider a separate area for returns since that seems to be what eats up the time here. I will never fathom why when they do returns, they must tag and hang everything in the process. It's is time consuming and inefficient. Order pickup, refunds, purchases - all the same line and all the same nightmare. Occasionally the kids section or mens open up their registers, but it's hardly the case. I spend more time here in line than I actually do shopping and when I think I want to make a purchase, the lines deter me. I don't see how Zara doesn't see this as a issue and a hindrance on making sales. read more

I love the service here! I was helped by Rochelle, and she was very helpful, professional, & just overall amazing! She was able to answer all my questions with ease and helped me find all that I needed! I asked if she was the manager and to my surprise she actually isn't! She is just able to do everything and anything. By far the best in the business. Zara execs, give this woman a raise IMMEDIATETLY!!! UPDATE: Rochelle is still by far one of the best if not THE best employee I've ever encountered. A new employee that helped me a bunch and also provided excellent customer service was Emilie! Awful customer service! I'd misplaced my receipt for a pair of pants (that did not end up fitting) and I wanted to exchange them for something in the store. Welp that's wasn't an option. They would only allow me to exchange them for a larger size. Okay fine, I ended up getting the XXL (I am ALWAYS an XL in their pants). Once again fitting rooms STILL CLOSED!! The material of the pants have ZERO stretch and fit so awkwardly, so I went back into the store to ask ONCE AGAIN for an exchange for something else. NOW THAT THE FITTING ROOMS ARE OPEN I think it is UNFAIR to tell me NO to an exchange for something else since I misplaced my receipt because HAD THE FITTING ROOMS BEEN OPEN A FEW WEEKS AGO I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVEN PURCHASED THE PANTS SINCE THEY WOULDN'T HAVE FIT!! Purchased a top on Sunday. Went to put it on cut off the tags and then realized there was a huge hole on the sleeve. Called the store to find a resolution for an exchange. Manager Tracy was unbothered about the fact that store has no quality control and doesn't mind selling product that are damaged and would not make an exception for exchange. Shirt was $39 and unable to wear it at all. I removed interior tag to be comfortable wearing the shirt as the tag is right on the side of the shirt. Return policy dictates any interior tag removed doesn't make it eligible for exchange even given that it was sold damaged. Poor service, subpar quality not worth the money for these products. read more

Even 1 star is too much for cerritos Zara. Employees were not trained at all and they do NOT know what they are doing. When I tried to check out I had to wait about an hour but only 2 people were in front of me. You know what that means right? Checker had to call the manager every few minutes. Last week I came to return 1 item and I had to wait 1.5hrs. And I thought I finally returned the item and the girl told me no reciepts and will be getting an email. Before exiting the store I waited for the email to arrive. Guess what? No email!! So frustating!!! I was making a return at the Zara Kids section and the cashier told me there's a sign that says that register is only for payments with the meanest attitude. She told me she'll do it that one time but that next time do it at the main register as if she was scolding a child. Did she have to be mean about it? No. Did she choose to? Yes. She did the return, gave me the receipt and didn't acknowledge me after that. I said thanks but she called up the next customer and pretended I'm not standing right there. As I left the area, I checked if there was a sign, and there was NO FORKING SIGN anywhere in that department. So, screw this store, and screw the employees. Yelp Challenge 2017 22/100 I was at the mall today and stopped by because my friend mentioned that they are having a sale. It's the busiest I've ever seen this store. There are some really good deals including dresses for $9.99, pants and jeans for $29.99, and tops for $7.99. They must be trying to clear out their inventory, because these are the lowest prices I've ever seen. There was a bit of a wait for the waiting room and also for the register. Considering how crazy it was in there, the sales people were all really nice. I have a lot of clothes from here and the quality is really good. Most importantly, everything I've purchased from here has been washable. read more

At about 1:20pm the manager "Darnell" light skin tall guy with blonde locs was extremely rude. Came into the store to return some items and I waited in line for 25 min. In the whole store I only seen about 5 employees which never greeted nor asked for assistance. Once I got to the register the employee advise me that I couldn't return my items because it was past the 30 day mark. She gave me a number to call " customer care" and advise me that they will give me a case number which then I could return the items. I called and I spoke with Michel from customer Care and was told the opposite. He advise that NO items are return within the 30 day period with NO EXCEPTIONS. This experience was the worst. Zara needs to inform there employees properly without giving the incorrect information to customer. It was such a waist of time and not helpful at all. read more

Both jeans from Zara the skinny blue island collection ripped from the back pocket and crotch area. They are identical jeans I purchased them twice. Unfortunately they couldn't give me money back because I took the internal tags off and without receipts they can't validate a manufacturer defect. It's almost like the employees deliberately go out of their way to offer you the rudest customer service possible. On the sales floor, the employees legitimately avert their glance when they see you or when you try to get their attention. When they do bless you with their attention, they quickly answer your questions clearly in an attempt to get rid of you ASAP. I order over $200 in jeans only received two of my five pairs and their won't assist me with my missing items that was left on the street by their cheap carrier service. I have been waiting for two weeks to speak to a supervisor( no one has called ) left 2 messages with their customer service reps .. Zara don't care about their customers it shouldn't be such a hard thing to do .. ppl don't waste their time making phone calls looking for the same items to be sent again. Came in today to return some online orders, i had BOTH the receipt and the merchandise and they told me the order was invalid. The cashier called for the manager- Eric Turner and he was THE WORST customer service you will ever see. He told us out right that by being upset about not being able to return an item with receipt and merchandise less than a week old, that we were being pushy and unappreciative of his help, WHICH he made clear that HE WAS DOING US A FAVORABLE, and eventually WALKED AWAY AND REFUSES to help. Employees here are so rude. I was in front of a dress looking for a size when an employee cut me to look for a size for another customer that needed another size in the dressing room. No excuse me, no apology, nothing. I legit was standing in front of a dress looking for a size and she did not care if I was standing there. I don't know if this review will get to corporate but they need to take a look at all these reviews because if I was the owner I'd be pissed if my employees were treating my paying customers this way.
