I've shopped at Zara for a few years now because they have nice items all year round and I can always pick something up for almost any last minute plans. However customer service hasn't always been the best. It's like their employees HATE to see a customer come and shop. Usually I dnt have too much of a conversation since the checkout process already feels tense. My review is for Remmi or Renni I'm not quite sure what exactly her name was since she wasn't wearing a name badge. Anyway I wasn't even being helped by her to begin with. It was a guy but he was having issues with the return so he called her and she seemed very bothered as if it was simple to do a return. Then she tells me "I dnt need your receipt" with an insulting tone along with spinning my phone back down. I asked for her name at the end. And she says her name, proceeds to ask why was I asking. I have shopped at the Del Amo Zara for years and would say a good majority of my sons clothes are bought from this particular store. After my experience this evening I would not shop your store Victor B. supposed store manager again. I say that with hesitation after the children's manager Seleina gave me a business card with a disconnected store number, then played dumb that she wasn't aware of it. I guess she figured I would wait until I got home to call and not follow through. My main complaint was Seleina's demeanor and customer service. When you have items in your store that are tagged incorrectly as a customer I would expect that a MANAGER would FIRST apologize and SECOND make the correction. I always shop here when I'm in town and have always had a great shopping experience until last month in November 2018. I'm rating this one star because of the guy who rang me up. I bought a $120 jacket and decided to return it because I found a better style. I went to go return it at a different Zara location in the Bay Area and the cashier tells me the inside sensor tag (long white strip sewn inside item) was cut off. I obviously did not cut this tag and had no idea it was even cut off. So now im stuck with this jacket because I cannot return it! ARGH!!! SHADY. Why would this store sell me an item where that tag inside was already cut off?!?? I called customer service and voiced my complaint but of course nothing happened. They only said they would relay my complaint to their "correspondence team". Now I'm stuck with this jacket and furious that this Zara store would sell me an item with this tag already cut off. It's not my responsibility to check if this white tag was cut off because I was not aware that without this tag, no returns. The manager at the store I was trying to return this item at was so nice & called this Torrance location. No one answered the phone or returned our calls. After reading all the reviews I was skeptical of making a trip to the store to make a return I had sitting in my car. Store was clean and organized, staff.. well, I only dealt with one, the register girl she was friendly and very helpful. The line for purchase return was not long only one person ahead of me when I got there but by the time I left there was a long line and only one register open. I came in to Zara on July 3 at 8pm and unsatisfied with the manager on duty. I love Zara clothing and accessories and they've had a sale in the past week and I've been at 3 locations San Diego, Las Vegas, and here in Torrance. (And sad to say Las Vegas was the extremely organized by selection for a Friday night- great work to the fashion show mall Zara!) as a resident in the Torrance Area I am sad to say that I am unsatisfied with the customer service here... from the manager. I came in for a return because the fitting room lines can be crazy during sales so I do my best to purchase and if needed, return. However during my return the associate asked me if anything was wrong I had told her yes. One of the clothing pieces I purchased had a spill of some sort could have been coffee or milkshake. I pointed it out to her and she called her manager over and her manager did not allow for the return. I told the associate and her that I purchased it like that, the tag was clearly attached and I never worn it. They refused to take it back. Terrible customer service cashier 08/03/22 at 7:00pm Asian lady transaction 155331 was very unprofessional. She had her friend there and a golden doodle and continued to talk about instagram and play with the dog while 4 people were waiting in line. I know everyone is short handed these days, I'm not complaining that I received no help in the dressing area or assistance in the shopping...but can I get a "hello" at the register? Can I get a "thank you"? Can you ask if I want a bag for $0.10? The experience at Del Amo Zara was extremely poor. In the first female fitting room, not only did the curtains fail to fully cover, but they were also pulled open by other customers twice. At the time, there were male customers outside, which made me feel violated and extremely uncomfortable. The first time the curtain was pulled open, I heard the staff informing the customers that someone was inside, and I decided to let it go, as the staff did remind the customers to be careful. However, the same thing happened again the second time, and a customer's "male" friend even entered the "female fitting room" space with her. I clearly saw the male customer standing right in front of my curtain. I deeply question the training and education provided to the staff at this store. read more

I was at this store in the beginning of September to exchange a item that was defective. The pant seam was twisted and one leg was longer than the other. It should of never hit the sales floor to begin with. The men's manager, Obrian, would not exchange the defective item for the exact same thing that another employee had already got from the back for me. Obrian was extremely rude, short, not sympathetic or helpful at all. He only answered with 1 words such as, "no. I hear you but no" then walked away mid conversation. I asked the employee to call him back to ask him why he walked away and he said "I have people in my ear and I have to do managerial things". He then proceed to say, "I don't need to talk to you anymore" and began to walk away again, bumping into my boyfriend. After they bumped, Obrian immediately threw his hands up shouting, "it's going to be like that I'm calling security to get you guys out". I was shocked. We were completely calm the entire time, as Obrian was stuttering and being reactive. He then proceeds to threaten to fight my boyfriend say, "I'm ex military I'm not scared of you". I continued to purchase about $300 worth of items as security showed up . Security found it comical the was this "manager" was acting and casually laughed/led us out the store. It's had to fathom the fact of being physically threatened by a manager/employee within a place a business. The worst service I have ever encountered in my entire life. Not only this altercation, but I've been back and forth with Zara's "customer service" for 4 months. This issue is still unresolved as it takes about 3-4 weeks for a follow up with no number to call into. Went to Del Amo branch and bought a suit . Jenna the cashier didn't even offer to hang the blazer jacket . I asked to hang it and put in a garment bag and told us she doesn't have any and told us to go downstairs in the ladies to get it. I asked if she could ask someone to get it and she said no. On my way out I asked a another worker named Eddie and he offered to get it for us . That was awesome ! I saw Jenna earlier when we were browsing and she was just talking with coworker. I just got accosted by some gentleman claiming to be a security from this store. He came up to me and my mom while trying to get on AN ELEVATOR & accused us of shoplifting, mind you we had never even entered the store. I immediately called mall security (I probably should've called the cops instead) & told them that some random guy is walking around the mall claiming to be Zara security. The man never showed any form of ID, didn't have a badge or a name tag, so for all I know he could've been some crazy person harassing and trying to scam people. The mall security found him and went to have a talk with him & it turned out that HE IS an employee at the store and that apparently the detector went off just as my mom and I were walking by the store and decided to come and accuse us without any proof (i repeat, we never even entered the store). This man is very unprofessional & people should not be falsely accused especially when we are not even patrons of the store! This man needs to be fired. read more

I went to Zara to buy clothing for my kids and when checking out I realized that I had forgotten my wallet at home. I asked if they could put the clothing on hold for a couple of hours and the answer was: sorry we can't do that. There was only one hoodie left in my son's size and it wasn't available online. I rarely ever shop at Zara but I looked around and stopped at the perfume section and sprayed some testers on me and decided on purchasing two bottles. Didn't like how they smelled on me later in the day so decided to return them (unused and in boxes) and was told by the store manager that perfume is final sale and I would have been told that by the sales associate when making the purchase. I was not told anything and was given the "oh you were told and we can't re-sell used perfume etc etc...". The back of the receipt specifically says and I quote "perfumes must be unused in their original condition and original packaging." I did get the return but I'd rather go to the dentist than deal with individuals who don't know or care about their own store policy. read more

Went to return 2 jackets I purchased online today at the store. Waiting in line the person at the register was trying to get the attention of a coworker named Elena. He called her about 6 times before she finally walked over. She was busy laughing and having a conversation with another co worker by the dressing room. Elena ended up also helping me with my return. I showed her my receipt in my email along with my 2 jackets with tags. She scans them then tells me the items don't match. I showed all the pictures, receipts and items again and said of course they match I purchased these just the other day. She smirks and tells me to calm down. Calm down?! That really pissed me off. First off I was calm. She then goes on about how the code doesn't match on the scan blah blah but that she will still take the return. Don't make your store issue my issue and never tell a customer to calm down. I told her that if there is scanning issue that is not my problem and that I didn't need her attitude just process my return. I purchase 2 of the same jackets and had my receipt. Enough said. Zero stars. I went there to return a pair of pants I bought. Too small for my size. I waited in line for returns today Jan 6,2022 for about one hour. They said pants are damaged because I removed the tags. I left them the pants and left. They kept them with no shame. Bad service bad at keeping their customers. The line is crowded and close together with the purchase line. In times of Covid not the best. I'm out with no pants and no return money.
