The food taste and quality was certainly amazing. The dishes and drinks were brought to the table. Unfortunately when establishment puts a service fee, you would want actual silverware and dishes made out of something better than cardboard or styrofoam. Misleading website and advertising just adds another bitter drop to the picture. Considering average bill of $30 per person (excluding drinks), the place is not worth your attention unless they lower their prices and attitude towards themselves, or improve their service to match the price range. read more

I ate at Zardin in Market Common for the first time. I was greeted right away when I walked in. Place was very clean. I had the watermelon feta salad. It was delicious! Everything fresh. If you like CAVA, this place is for you. My wife and I had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We both had a "make your own bowl," and were extremely pleased. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. We also had an opportunity to speak with the owner, who could not have been any nicer! If you are tired of the tourist food and want something healthy, fresh and tasty, this is the place to go. My wife loves health food, I do not, but this is a restaurant we can both agree on. I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times and each meal was outstanding. Our party of three ordered Ala Italy, Greek salad and a Tex Mex bowl and we all loved our meals. Super cute spot for fresh juices and salads etc. Sierra was super sweet along with a few of the other girls behind the counter that I didn't catch a name. They were all super personable, outgoing and explained the concept and menu upon first entry and told me about the reward program at checkout. Juice was yummy and really enjoyed the sesame tofu and vegan options. I ended up here twice in one week. Just really love the neighborhood and how accessible it is with kids. Food was very good. When looking at the receipt there was a hidden added unannounced Fee, called "Service Fee" @12%. This was a surprise because we were not advised at the counter when placing the order asking permission to add this charge. When I asked an employee I was told this was a Fee for the staff to make sure your food comes out properly and you are satisfied? LOL Then was told other restaurants here charge a Fee. I pointed out this is a self service food establishment where you are not waited on, and you have to order then pickup your order at the counter like a McDonalds or similar fast food facility. Other restaurants do not mandate a fee because Tips are voluntary when we have a dedicated Server or Waiter, I demanded a refund and was issued it, then came an apology saying "we are sorry you didn't like our service" and of course I barked back indicating there was No Service this is self service. So, here is a new establishment hiding a Tip Fee under "Service Charge" so beware when placing your order, demand that No Added Fees will be paid and suggest a Tip Jar be placed on the counter for people Who Wish to leave a Tip. Shame on the management for hiding a Tip Fee by mislabeled printing out and demanding a Tip at a self service counter. read more
