Portions are a bit sloppy, could use a little more attention to detail. The staff here is very nice, and even when there was an issue with my order, the cook had no issue even when the location was busy remaking the order. I ordered the fries with the toppings and the only thing slightly warm was the bacon. The cheese was cold and molded into place, the chicken was just present, basically it had been pulled from a cooling rack and the fries mine was well not even been cooked they were so cold. When doing a built up menu item like this, all the items have to be prepared fresh, so the menu item can maintain its temperature. Cold chicken and cold fries, topped with slightly warm bacon then cheese and drizzled is why the cheese was molded into shape. It only slightly melted because of the other items it was bagged with. Anytime I order a sandwich the bread is per-toasted, I can tell, it's always stiff. The chicken is fried and left on a cooling rack, which is why it's so hard to separate. The sauce is flooding the sandwich, which is fine, I prefer too much versus too little. Fries are never covering their portion of the tray, even on a slow day. Just went through the drive-thru and the black woman taking orders is rude. she was rude while I was on the speaker, then when I got to the drive through window she called me mam (I'm a heterosexual male no trans stuff over here) and that's ridiculous and she was couldn't take accountability for it. Visited this location on Saturday July 27, 2024 for lunch. I was very disappointed in finding most of the tables were dirty, we were unable to enjoy our meal because we were having to fan off flies, and gnats. I placed an order on the app (2 salads and an order of toast). My order was supposed to be ready at 7:07. I got here, called the number and was told it wasn't ready but someone would bring it out shortly. I've waited over an hour for TWO SALADS. Aggravated because this the second establishment on this strip that has closed before their posted hours. As a commercial driver-my options are limited when it comes to a drive-thru; so if the dining room room closes 30-45 minutes before the drive thru-that should be posted. I was so disappointed in the quality of my Cesar salad. It was more like a stale bread Cesar than a fried chicken Cesar. The bacon tasted odd, the chicken was salt and honestly compared to the amount of chicken given at other fast foods in their salad... zaxbys is pretty skimpy and cheap. So many times after soccer games at Score Indoor, my team would stop at Zaxby's for a bite to eat. We always got there just 5 minutes before closing time, and my jerk-ass teammates would insist on eating in the dining area. The workers there never hassled us to hurry up, not even a dirty look, as we ate until 15 minutes after closing time. Customer service does not get any better than it is here. One of the drink machines didn't work at all creating a long line for the other. We arrived at 5:00 so there was no reason the dining room was out of everything since lunch without being restocked for the dinner crowd. The bathroom had paper towel shreds all over the floor and the dining room area had trash on the floor as well. Management needs to step it up.
