Raising Cane's is definitely better. Got the Chicken Snack and the fries were not done, kinda slightly raw or not cooked through and the Chicken was definitely a snack. I mean it was plenty of food, but for the price my strips were very thin. Maybe it was just a thin batch. My problem was mostly with the server here at the Spring location. She was awful. And when I asked for Honey Mustard also, even though I wanted to try the Zaxby's dip too, I was told it would be .25 extra and she was going to get back in my food box and remove my dip and change it out. I told her no and took my food before she could put her non-gloved hand back in. gross. and I'm sure the honey mustard would have been better as the Zaxby's sauce was meh. Go to Raising Cane's. Fries remind me of Wing Stop, slightly sweet. Too bad mine were undercooked, could have been awesome. read more

I've been to other Zaxby's before but only drive through and now I probably won't be coming back to any of them. Also, this is the first time I've had a salad here. First, I was excited... Then I went to the restroom to wash my hands and the room smelled like sewage. On top of that the floors, which weren't a different tile or anything were extremely slick. They also had the "we don't trust you to turn off the faucet" style of push to operate and "hope it lasts until your hands are clean" style faucet and "we don't want you to have clean hands" air dryer. So now I'm trying not to think about the food preparers hand cleanliness while waiting for my salad. Once they arrived they gave both of us only one set of utensils and only one side of Texas toast. The Salad itself was OK at best, the chicken quality is easily bested by PDQ and the dressings were some of the worst either of us has had. My girlfriend even said McDonald's has better dressings. This would have been a one star review, but I've had good experiences with drive through chicken tender boxes before, but after this, and now seeing the amount of grease my thumbs are leaving on my phone screen I will look elsewhere for chicken. Really enjoyed this place. We went on a Friday around 630-7pm. Not too packed. The employees were pleasant and patient. We ordered the wings and things plate which I believe was about $7 or $8 . Food was cooked perfectly. The zaxbys sauce is delicious. Sweet tea was fresh when we got there. Only thing would like to see a location closer to my or even in my area. read more

Went the other day to pick up a birthday cake milkshake (so good, you must try it). We were informed they were out of sprinkles, which they typically mix into the milkshake. No worries. We pulled up to pay and the Assistant Manager was working the window. He apologized profusely for not having the sprinkles, discounted the milkshake and gave us a free cookie. He was incredibly kind and went so above and beyond. I wish more people were as kind as him! read more

Don't go here! Just waited over twenty minutes for three basic plates. Cashier was rude upon inquiry. Stated there was a catering plate ahead of us. Dine in customers should not have to wait for a catering order, it should be worked in. Also, drive thru orders were still being filled quickly. I guess that is due to the timer for drive thru. Like many people I gave up chick fli a due to personal reasons. So I was stoked when I heard this place was similar. I ordered the wings and things. It came with a verity of choices, chicken was very crispy and seasoned well. Sauces were tasty, fries were also crispy and seasoned well. Staff was friendly, however my only complaint is our food took 15 mins (long for fast food I thought) there was only 2 customers inside and no line at the drive thru. When I came here, I tried the chicken finger plate. Raising Cane's is definitely better when it comes to these plates (not sure if I should be rating in the same category). I mean, this place isn't bad, but I've experienced way better. Not sure how all the other locations are, but the food at this place was really salty when I came the past two times...well for me at least. Everytime I walk into the restaurant, the employees and the food give me a warm welcoming. I remember that I walked into the building while they were closing and they still took my order, made me fresh food, and allowed me to remain inside to finish eating. The employees always make fresh food and they always check up on me to see how I'm doing and if everything is okay. I love it and I love Zaxby's. read more

I went here with my love two days ago for the first time. First my order was wrong, it was never repeated back which can avoid wrong orders . I ordered teriyaki chicken tenders but instead got honey mustard. Tried the honey mustard anyway, couldn't even eat it or the mediocre fries because it was flat out awful. Asked to get what I originally ordered, the teriyaki sauce was even WORSE. Overall food was so bad I asked for a refund. Which I thankfully got back but made me feel awkward and uncomfortable asking for since I got that, 'customer didn't like our food stare'. My love did not enjoy his plate at all but ate it anyway cause he was very hungry. I then tried to go to the restroom, to which I turned back around so fast because it was just filthy. I'm honestly very confused how this restaurant has customers. The only thing that was good about this place was the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. The chicken here is just average. Raising Cane's offers the same menu but is much better than this place. The food here doesn't meet the quality that you get at Raising Cane's, especially the toast. It felt like a budget version of Cane's. I'm not sure which which restaurant came first between the two, but this one isn't as good. read more

I usually love Zaxby's but the one off I-45 is absolutely gross. We came in and it was not busy at all. Maybe one or two tables taken. There were empty tables that had food and crumbs all over them so where we could even sit was limited.. When we went to fill our drinks, there were gnats flying all around that area near the tea (spilled all over the area for the drinks) and the lids. Gross. Then when we received our food, we were bothered with gnats flying all around in the area where customers eat. I'm sure if they were flying all around us they were also in the back where the food was cooked as well. Last time I'll be going there. Just disgusting. read more

Me and my family went to this location on Monday, 3/11/2013, and we had an okay experience. For three "wingz & things" meals, a chicken strip meal, a chicken strip sandwich, and 5 drinks, the total was over $50. We recieved our food moments later, and we started eating. The Zaxby's sauce tastes similar to Raising Cane's sauce, the chicken strip portions with my meal were too small (but delicious!), my parents thought the wings tasted dry (might be because they've been sitting under a heat lamp all day), my brother said the celery sticks with the wing meals were cut a little too thin, the fries tasted bland and lacked seasoning, and the toast was okay. If you eat here, you better be prepared to pay a lot of money to eat this food. Otherwise, you're better off eating at Raising Cane's on Research Forest Drive in Shenandoah, because it's worth the drive, and you get bigger chicken strip portions there. read more
