What is the point of charging extra for sauces when they ALWAYS leave it out?! I don't understand why it's necessary to pay for the extra sauces. Especially when you're in the drive thru and you order a lot of food and you can't check them all before you drive off bc you're holding the line up and also if you're on the clock so you're trying to rush back to work. Seriously! Zaxby's need to stop charging for extra sauces. I'd understand if I ask for like 10 sauces and they want to charge me but for just 2 extra Zax sauce and a ranch I'm charged a quarter each when I purchased 4 meals they should just give it for free as some courtesy. Occasionally, I like to peruse Yelp reviews to see what others are saying about local establishments in my area (Suwanee) and I RARELY leave reviews myself. As a director at a Chick-Fil-A, I know what quality and customer service should consist of at a hospitality-focused chicken restaurant and this Zaxby's is an AWESOME example of chicken done right! We've been coming to this location 2-3 times weekly since we moved to Morningview over 2 years ago. I've ordered everything on the menu from the fried pickles to the Big Zax Snack Pack to Teriyaki strips to a salad to the Kiddie Cheese to whatever, sometimes just for a fry and a Coke. They've never missed a damn thing; the food has always been fresh and tasty; I've NEVER waited more than 5-10 minutes even at their BUSIEST; and I've never had less than cordial customer service. I don't know why this location has such a high volume of less than "4-5 star" reviews but I can take a stab (from LONG experience): some folks are always looking for a freebie, no matter that a negative Yelp review may reflect upon the business in question. I generally like Zaxby's, however, it is the location that makes or breaks the deal for us. My husband and I had lunch at this location a while back. The restaurant was just a mess. Tables were dirty, garbage on the floor, over all a real unpleasant experience. The employees showed no effort in coming out and cleaning the dinning area for the guests. There were only 2 tables that were a little decent to sit and have our lunch. There is no excuse for a restaurant to be this dirty and uncared for by the employees. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone, who likes Zaxby's. We are not the only people who have had the same experience as we had, at this location. I am surprised that this location can pass it's health inspection. read more

After sitting in drive through at 6pm for 15+ mins, we pull up to order to find that they are out of all of their wimpy, tongue torch, AND nuclear sauces... Confused on how a wing joint runs out of all the hot sauces? Also food was cold and toast was burned. read more

I watch the commercials, I yearn for some variety among 'convenience dining restaurants', and so I talk our card-playing buddies into going to this Zaxby's before our weekly Friday night game. Dirty feeling, bad layout, but let's see how a Zalad stacks up against Wendy's and Chick-fil-a's offerings. I got the House Zalad with grilled chicken and honey french dressing. The greens were kinda room temperature and the chicken was lukewarm. Isn't the giant yellow plastic plate they put it all on supposed to be chilled? It was an inoffensive meal: bland, no zest, no life, no cleverness. Just crunch, crunch, crunch, swallow. I've been a regular patron of this location for several years and the food has always been great for the most part. There was one Saturday sometime in the distant past my wife and I noticed the chicken was a little crispy and you could smell the old oil. I never mentioned it to anyone but my wife. When you're going to Zaxby's you always expect the food to come out hot and fresh; at least most of the time. Well just recently on a Saturday I got the same taste of burnt cooking oil. So I mentioned it to one of the workers and was told the oil is usually changed on Monday and that I had not been the only customer who had complained about it. So a few days later I called the customer care line to inform them of the problem. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and re assured me this was unacceptable. Now I wasn't calling then to get a free meal and certainly none was ever offered. I felt this was the right thing to do. Well remember the saying no good deed goes unpunished? A few days later I get a surprise call from the manager of this location asking me which employee told me this; as he tried to reassure me their oil is filtered daily. Now this irritated me somewhat because what he wanted me to believe that this just couldn't have happened and that someone was just making this all up! read more

Hubby and I decided to go to Zaxbys for something quick and decent for dinner. Nope! That didn't happen. The fries and chicken tenders were cold/old. The fries actually tasted dry, if there such a thing. We dumped the meal and just raided the refrigerator for snacks instead. Yep, that was the better choice. I used to like Zaxbys but that location which is closest to me leaves so much to be desired. The staff could stand to be nice and more customer friendly. read more

I went today on my lunch and the lady (Bella) was behind the counter cleaning trays. She had about 15 or so trays laying there and she finished each one before even acknowledging the line she had. She did not greet when she turned around only stated "Can I help you" no smile just a smug I don't want to be here look. I ordered my food which came with a drink, she took the cup out of the holder and slammed it down on the counter and said IS THAT IT real sarcastic. I really don't know what I did to piss her off but she was extremely rude! By that time, it pissed me off and I said YES THAT IS IT! The rest of my party got their order and stated she was also rude to them too, it was like we were bothering her to take our orders. Once we sat down and started eating, another lady came thru the dining area asking everyone in the place to give money to her and her kids (she did not have kids with her) Everyone in the place was shocked they were letting this lady walk thru and ask everyone there for money. This lady then goes and gets in a newer Toyota pathfinder. What a bad experience this was for us not to be able to just order our food without feeling hatred from the server and then to not be able to eat in peace without someone begging for money inside the restaurant. read more

The Cobb salad is awesome, you can get it with fried or grilled chicken. My personal favorite is the grilled chicken. The salad is big enough for two people and they don't skimp on the fixings. read more

It is the closest location to us. The food is fine but as all the other reviewers stated, the staff need to clean the dining area more often. Every time we go in it is difficult finding a clean table. Seems to be an ongoing problem and therefore the # of stars. If I am in a particular mood and do not want to deal with it, I go to the drive-thru. Really though how hard is it to clean a dining room every 30 minutes or so?? First i love Zaxby's food. i have been here multiple times, only complaint is that the TV is always FoxNews channel, which never bothered me before. only myself and another person happen to be eating around 6pm, i asked the other gentleman if i could change the channel, something was on Fox News i did not want to watch at all today. i asked a worker if the manager could change the channel to CNN and they stated the manager said they lost the remote!!! i asked the only other customer in the Zaxby's at that time, if he mind if i turned the TV off, he said no. so, i did. i was going to turn it back on when i left, the manager came out and turned the TV back on... i asked the manager "did you guys actually lose the remote?" he said no "the owner Carl Williams states the channel MUST always remain on Fox News, and that he has the right as a private business to do so." just because you HAVE the right doesn't make it RIGHT ,also he is a franchise with Zaxby's name and image that he is also representing here. i had a small biz/shop from 2008 to 2013 and it didn't have a TV, but if i had it on CNN and a customer ask me to put it on Fox News and nobody else cared or had issue i would do it for my customer. read more

Overall, pretty okay experience. Ordered a boneless, mild wings n' things. Service was a on the slow side for a fast food restaurant, but food came out okay. A bit on the soggy side, which lowered the quality. Has been better in recent visits, so score is higher than original desire to rate two stars. read more

I used to love going to this Zaxby's and getting a zalad on my lunch break. However, the last three times I have ordered the house salad, my lettuce was wilted, there would barely be any cheese on it or missing some of the topping. I will no longer spend $7+ on a salad when I have to throw half of it away because the lettuce isn't any good. read more
