Horrible customer service. I went to the Beaverton location and the first lady was so rude so I came back another day and the new lady was such a mess it took over an hour for her to bill me for 3 cabinets I already had exactly what I wanted. Then I was sent to portland to pick up the items, where the beaverton store called first to make sure it was all ready to be picked up. I got all the way there for the warehouse staff to say that they dont have the cabinets and it would be over a month! So I went back to refund my money, I will never be back again. Almost forgot to mention they were yelling at eachother in Chinese across the room for most of the time I was there. read more

I would highly recommend this company if anyone is looking for a store to do DIY projects in their household. ZC building supply gave me a great selection of materials to choose from along with affordable prices that I could not find in other stores. Service was great and the people working there were genuine in helping me select the best countertop for my kitchen. There were some people in the store that did not have english as their first language but that didn't hinder my transactions and went smoother than you would expect. They came in and installed in 2 days time after the order and were very respectful while in my household. Is there a way I can leave a zero star here not a one? Absolutely the worst experience ever. Paid for the countertops at the office and went for a pick up, everything was downhill from there. I was greeted by two individuals who didn't understand a single word in English, but that's OK, I've been in similar situations and the transaction was always smooth. But not this time. The guy was lifting one piece after another and showing them to me and most of them had large stains on them and broken bottoms, so I would wave my hand and say pass. All the countertops sit outside which would explain the condition they are in. After showing me about four pieces, he started yelling at me in his language and I couldn't understand what he was saying, only that he was extremely upset that I wasn't satisfied with the garbage that he's showing me. I tried to point out and show him the defects of the parts but he wouldn't listen,, so him and I both started to try calling the home office hoping they would help. The office understood English and I was able to have a conversation but they weren't any help at all. They kept insisting that we've chosen a color and the pattern, but I kept telling them I'm satisfied with the color and pattern of the granite and I understand that each one is going to be unique and different but countertops should never have stains or defects, I couldn't understand why they wanted me to pick a countertop that was defective. I told them that if I wasn't able to pick the four good ones that I needed that I would walk away, and of course they didn't care and said no problem. I then told him show me the rest of them because I'm sure there there's four that I could pick out of The rest. The gentleman with the forklift absolutely furious didn't want to show me anymore and he said down his crane waved his hand at me threw the piece of paper I gave them back at me and wave to us to leave. I've wasted too much time on this to walk away and to my stubbornness, I decided to climb a mountain of crates and boxes to the top of the pile and start manually going through the slabs to pick the ones that were not defective. After I got up there, I was able to find the good ones and then instructed them to pick those, as I was coming down I tripped and almost broke my leg on one of the crates. After I was done, the guy started waving at me to take the box where he unloaded the slabs into. The paperwork clearly said delivery yet he insisted I took them away so I was back on the phone with the office. This business and company is a complete joke but there's nothing funny about how they handle their customers and what their business model is. I wouldn't return here if somebody held a gun to my head. read more

So I have used this company at least 6 times for different projects at my houses. They are great they work with your designs or they can help you design with basic measurements and layout. They have always been able and willing to fix any problems I've had with any of the produucts after opening them. I will continue to recommend them To friends and family. The cabinets that we bought were nice and looked really good in our kitchen, but the customer service was horrible. They didn't want to replace our cabinet that came damaged with scratches and paint chips because it was already installed. We had to pay again for the door we were replacing and when we were picking up our replacement pieces, they were rude about it and didn't have good customer service skills and tried giving us replacements that were just as bad as the previous ones. Overall, good cabinets, poor customer service and honestly for me customer service is more important than quality. read more

ZC Granite has a showroom with a wide range of quartz countertop slabs to choose from. You can take home samples (chunks of the actual stone) to help choose the right one. Joe was very helpful with the selection. They post their installation fees upfront which are VERY reasonable (comparatively speaking). They also have installation materials for do-it-yourselfers. Their installers came out 2 days after we chose and bought our countertop material and did the installation within 3 hours. The head installer was very knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves. Our countertops look great! Highly recommend them. read more

Would I recommend ZC Cabinet & Granite to friends and family? I'm conflicted on answering that question. I WOULD recommend it because they have the best prices in town for value cabinets... but some of the things I had to deal with during my transaction make me NOT want to recommend them. The two ladies were great with helping us with the design. They probably spent 1.5 hours helping us work all the details out - they really know there stuff with kitchen design (important details like making sure the Microhood vent will line up, make sure water/electric connections fit inside cabinets, etc...) There is a language barrier... their English level makes it hard at times. Patience is key. I got the white shaker cabinets. In general pretty good cabinets for the money, but be VERY PICKY when picking them up and inspect each cabinet thoroughly. Open each box and inspect it BEFORE leaving. I had one cabinet face JUST primed... no paint. A few cabinets had very big blemishes with the paint.... paint cracks... caked on paint... big scratches. One of the lazy suzannes had some wood structural pieces completely broken. After getting home and seeing all the imperfections I went to exchange them. They made a big fuss about me returning DEFECTIVE product that THEY sold me. They were downright rude. This made me VERY upset... they either need better QA or they purposely and knowingly sell defective product. If you have them assemble the cabinets... check them before leaving the warehouse. If you have them install the cabinets... DOUBLE CHECK all the cabinets BEFORE they install them. They have a GREAT policy of returning any left over trim pieces or accessories (toe kick, scribe, etc). If you go to return these left over full pieces (non cut) make sure you bring your paperwork... because they will gladly accept them... but will try to give you less money than you paid. If you're careful and patient you can get the best deal in town for cabinets. read more
