I've watched Tim's YouTube videos and tutorials to do a lot of my own fixes on my BMW. He's got a vast knowledge of these cars and does a very thorough job explaining his work from beginning to end. When the starter went out on my car, I knew who to call to get the job done at a fair price, with a lighting quick turn around. It was quick to text back and forth with Tim, and he provided a quote in a few minutes and went over other things I could get done with the job. Tim is the best and most honest mechanic. He's fixed and maintained my BMW 2009 328 numerous times and when he thought putting more money into repairs wasn't wise, he told me to trade it in as he didn't want me to waste my money. His prices are always well below the dealerships and local repair shops. When I was about to buy a used 2011 BMW, he came to the dealership and inspected the car and even got me a better price because he saw something that needed to be repaired. Fortunately he knew it was something covered under the SULEV 15 year warranty. He's so honest that when the dealership can fix something for free, he'll tell me to go there. I just replaced my starter, valve cover, thermostat, water pump, and many other maintenance items as a proactive measure for my 2009 X5 all by following your YouTube videos. I dont know if you remember, but i called you a couple weeks ago to help me identify an AC leak on the same car. The mechanics at BMW said they were fairly certain it was the evaporator, but they needed like $400 more to diagnose on top of the $225 I had already paid. You informed me that 90% of the time, leaks are caused by the a/c compressor; I ended up swapping out the compressor, pulled a vacuum, and the leak was gone! This guy talks so much without giving clear answer I had appointment with him He showed up late He bring his device to check the codes And told me he can't tell what is the issue with my transmission but he thinks transmission service that costs 1 thousand will ((MAYBE)) fix it It was so frustrating because the code was telling part of the issue And he still couldn't figure out what it was Also he didn't do a test drive to check further Also I had whine noise while driving and he also was talking in circles and gave me 3 things that maybe be wrong and he can't tell if he replace 1 part if the sound will disappear I think his favorite word is ((MAYBE)) He just a time waster and don't seem to know much about bmw and there complicated issues Also his price is expensive for someone who don't own a shop I advise anyone If you value your car and time And want clear answers to fix your problems Go to a independent bmw specialist shop Or go to the dealership This guy can't even tell what the issue with my car He spent all the time acting weird just playing on his scanner device he cleared my check engine code and wanted to scam me with 1 thousand transmission service I gladly declined Which I found the parts at FCP euro for $221 And labor for $350 At independent bmw repair shop Total $571 So his price is much higher than shops I gave him $80 to just leave because he was talking too much without giving me exact fix for my issues Which is something I never experienced before read more

Had a valve cover gasket replaced on a 335i 2007 and Tim was responsive, on time, professional, and very skilled I found his company on YouTube and I was glad he service my area about 50 miles east from where he is coming from. Dealer and BMW mechanics around my area quoted much much more. On the other hand Tim doesn't not have to pay for a regular shop and other things that go with it. So the savings are passed on to the customer I think. He is very meticulous wiping the parts seems very concentrated on the task at hand. So I really was not talking to him in the beginning. When was the last time you can watch your mechanic work on your car like NEVER. The work was done in a couple of hours he even check for any codes, brakes and even cleaned some of the oil in my engine. Did not up sell me anything. Definitely will use him again. I had a cracked charge pipe on my 2014 435i and went searching for a company that can assess and repair the problem. I checked through Yelp as I knew going through the dealer would be costly. I came across Zeitan and gave them a call Saturday afternoon. Tim took my car and information and told me he would get to me with his schedule and a quote. He got back to me later that evening and was very transparent with his pricing. The part he had in stock was a genuine BMW part so it would cost a little more. Tim suggested that I do my own search for a more reasonable part and to let him know if I wanted him to install it. Long story short, I found an OEM part, asked his advice and ordered it. We kept in contact and once the part arrived he was out the next day in the window that he provided and replaced the part along with performing diagnostics to ensure there were no other underlying problems. He was constantly insulting me and slamming his fists on the car out of frustration, saying things like "I will destroy this car". Forget about bad service... Awesome mechanic! And more importantly honest. After owning 328 for a while and having problems with bmw Santa Monica official service center (check their reviews, I'm not along) I thought I'll have to switch to something else but I found ZEITEN. FIRST STORY - Bought my first BMW 328i 2007 with (like owner was describing it) with transmission problem and possibly blown head gasket. After checking Carfax I find out that transfer case was fixed with the same mechanic who said that (you can run Carfax of this car with my plates number and see it record yourself). From what I know there is no transfer cases unless it's all wheels drive car. Which mean there is no reason to trust this mechanic. I asked Tim (lead mechanic in ZEITEN) to check this car and he said that there is no big problems there and I should by it. Turns out transmission radiator has a whole (probably was hit by the rock or something) and transmission fluid mixed with coolant. After changing both everything start working as it should. Almost a year passed and no problem. SECOND STORY - recently I needed a car with 4 doors in less then a week. We found 530i 2004 and again I asked him to take a look at it and say his opinion. He quickly recognized that nothing was done with the car that have to be done (engine cover gasket, thermostat, whaterpump, sparkplugs and ect). Interesting enough previous owner had all the records about different types of work (including gasket) but actual work never was completed. He highly recommend to do all together and gave me the list of parts on ebay (usually services doesn't allow you to do that and selling you part 2 times more expensive) and I took him 3 -4 hours to do everything. - replace engine cover gasket - replace thermostat - replace whaterpump - replace pcv crankcase vent valve - replace breather hose - clean intake manifold (that the name of this thing I'm guessing) - replace manifold gaskets - change spurplugs - replace sparkplug coil (one failed) - change engine oil - change coolant - Chang air filter - change interior filters I might forget something else... P.S. I would never buy a BMW without ZEITEN support. If he will fix your car once you not going to see him for a while :) read more

Priced me at a fraction of the dealership and usually half of what an independent shop would charge. I've had multiple things done and am ready to call him whenever I have my next issue. . Just a list of this hes done for me. Valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket. . Changed a few coolant hoses . This is a long-overdue review. He is simply amazing. Honest, competitive pricing, and follows through with his business motto of rebuilding trust between the mechanic professional and the car owners. A few months ago at night, after a long shift in the ER, I was en route to going home; there was a bad wreck and a couple of patrol vehicles on Crenshaw Blvd going up to PV. I slowly drove past the scene because it was not well-lit, and my car drove over flat, sharp chunks of car debris that was not cleared off the road. It lodged somewhere in my right front tire, making scary metal grinding noise. We called around and was quoted ridiculously high prices, some making it into a more devastating scenario. We scoured the internet and finally found our guy. And he diagnosed the problem quickly and acutely, removed the sharp particle, told us nothing else is wrong (instead of adding the usual spiel that other mechanics rip us off with) and the price was unbelievable. His professionalism was impeccable, also. This person is a top-notch car surgeon if we were to compare him to human health care system. I strongly think that we, the BMW owner community, need to absolutely protect him and his expertise/intellectual property. It was a privilege to have had my car repaired.
