This was our fourth time here and it's still very good. Not cheap, but service was excellent (Colleen was our server) and my food was excellent. I had shrimp scampi and it was delicious. My husband had the Maine Lobster roll and he was very disappointed. We were both expecting it to be similar to those we've had in Maine but instead it was a long bun with a slit down the center that had a long piece of lobster lying in it with some sauce. First- this place is simply the absolute best. Aside from their delicious food, atmosphere and beverages- want to take a minute and say how amazing this staff is. I had not been feeling well throughout the day and one of our most favorite family friends was in town and just had to take her! Unfortunately I stood up to excuse myself and ended up fainting, hitting my head on the corner table and just sprawled flat out on the ground. My server Aspen was just an angel as well as the entire staff on the phone with the medics, getting me orange juice and ice and just all out being rockstars. They helped me to my dads car so I could go to the hospital and we made the rest of the family stay back so they could experience it and all night they came and checked on my mom who was a mess. We have been here multiple times and have never had a bad dish. The marina view is beautiful, and watching the boats come and go was entertainment all on its own for our kids. I have a dairy allergy, and they were able to modify a dish for me, which I really appreciated. The food is consistently incredible. The cornbread appetizer is a must order, and we've loved the cobia, swordfish, tuna, fried fish platter, and even the oysters--I'm usually not a big oyster fan! The only downside is that wait times can be long, but we usually make a reservation online ahead of time and have had great luck with that. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Went Wednesday night and got the fried grouper. INCREDIBLE. Went back Friday and got it again. It was very very undercooked and greasy so I sent it back and got another and it came back identical. Great place, oysters were good although on the small side for the market price, we did the hook and catch and brought in fresh snapper and grouper we caught off the charter boat on the dock out back, half fried and half blackened and it was wonderful , perfectly seasoned and the sides were good! I had the blackened cobia dish and it was $32.00. It was rather bland and under salted. The dirty rice was rather chewy/dense. They don't have salt and pepper on the table so I had to wait for the waitress to get salt in order to enjoy my meal. They didn't have any soup or bisque offerings, which was disappointing. We have been wanting to try Zeke's for a while, and we finally decided to tonight with friends from out of town. I had one of the best wedge salads I've ever had--crisp and cold, with just the right balance of creamy dressing, pickled onions, blue cheese, and smoky bacon. The baked oysters were a rich delight, each bite a reminder that the Gulf (and Zeke's) knows how to do it right. My beautiful wife had the perfectly seared scallops. Even though our server, Isabella, was clearly juggling a busy section with a couple of large tables, she handled it with calm confidence. She exuded warmth and charm that made the night just a little brighter, too. I had the grilled cobia, the fish was amazing but the sides were very bland and for some reason they put beans in the jambalaya .... Awful ! The second dish was the fried grouper and it was very bland as well, the fries were good and the cold slaw was ok. . The young waitress who took care of us was very helpful with recommendations for apps and entrees as well as drinks even though my pregnant wife and I were not drinking anything. We were wanting a meal in between seafood meals so she had the wedge salad and I had the surf and turf burger. They were both delicious as was the calamari (the red sauce is the best!).
