We have steel cut oatmeal with dried fruits and avocado toast with an egg over easy.
    Brian C.

Delightfully simple, elegant, and delicious. The over-easy egg elevated an already excellent avocado toast, the steel-cut oatmeal was comforting and expertly prepared, and the outstanding service by our waitress Chrissy made the entire experience feel special. A warm, memorable start to the day and a restaurant we would happily return to.

Zen is located inside the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Vegas and it is a convenient restaurant where you can grab a relatively healthy breakfast. I like sitting by the window and enjoying the view. The waiter is very accommodating and my avocado toast was gluten free!

    Rainbow Roll and sashimi

I ate here twice while staying at the Waldorf and I would stay while this is a very end hotel, the prices for food for the quality was not what I expected. I ordered a rainbow roll and some sashimi. While the roll and sashimi were good, it was not worth the 63.00 I spent for this two entrees with a glass of water. Additionally I ate breakfast here the next day and for the American breakfast with a coffee the price was $49.00. The highlight of course staying in a nice hotel was the service. The servers were always amazing, smiling and welcoming. The ambiance was just your typical hotel dining room with partial views. While I stay at this hotel once in a while, I will mostly like eat elsewhere next time.

The friendly service, view of the Crystals mall, and convenience for anyone meeting or staying at the Waldorf Astoria are the highlights here. While the food isn't bad, there's definitely a premium added for the convenience. Oatmeal and blueberries will run you $20 here, for example, in a city known for deals on steak, shrimp, and prime rib.

For a pricey & upscale place, I would expect a higher experience. The carpet floors were a little dirty, and the server station had broken cabinets. It was also annoying when the staff would slam the broken drawers and drop silverware at the station. Despite that, the staff was friendly. The Salmon Lox Bagel was delicious, and the Breakfast Burrito was well presented and delicious. I liked the little cuts of bell peppers and garnish to give the dish color. Overall, a bit pricey for what its worth.

Zen was conveniently located inside our hotel so we decided to go there for dinner. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. We ordered the chicken, miso sea bass, and wagu fried rice. The food was flavorful, fresh, and fulfilling. Everything was delicious!

We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was Kristy who was very nice and efficient. My spouse got the salmon with a toasted bagel deconstructed so I could eat the veggies. I ordered the classic omelette with added tomatoes. It was light, fluffy, and good flavor. It came with a tomato on the side with baked goat cheese also great and a fresh side salad dressed nicely. I ate all of it. All the staff were friendly. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor. It's nice and bright with windows to see the strip.

It's quite sad that the actual "real" restaurant at the Waldorf closed down and this cafe style joint is the only food option available on the premises. We had a bunch of food credit through FHR and being Hilton Diamond so we ate here multiple times during our stay. Wagyu steak and eggs - it's ok but nothing to write home about Breakfast sandwich - I didn't like it but objectively speaking it's not bad Breakfast burrito - It's not what i would call an "authentic" breakfast burrito but it's not bad Salmon Bagel - probably the best breakfast/lunch item we tried We also ate here for dinner i'd say definitely don't do that unless you have food credit to burn. The sushi fish was decent but the rice was terrible.... overall it was a very mediocre and overpriced dinner.

Came to have a glass of wine at lunch. Decided to share a club sandwich with my husband. The waiter split the sandwich and brought it on 2 separate plates. The lunch was delicious. The drink was yummy as well. I had a spritz. Excellent service. Nice quite lunch.

Tucked away on the third floor of Waldorf Astoria, Zen Kitchen is a peaceful oasis amid the Strip chaos--perfect after a family Vegas trip with the dog in tow. The modern space with courtyard views feels worlds away from the frenzy, and the service shines: attentive without hovering, even at brunch Had the seasonal maple latte--rich, creamy with perfect fall spice notes, not overly sweet--and the omelet (fluffy eggs loaded just right, fresh fillings). Both hit spot-on: latte warmed me up, omelet satisfied without heaviness. Portions ideal, quality shines through in every bite/sip. Fresh, seasonal American with subtle Zen twists (tuna poke on menu for next time). Prices fair for luxury hotel--worth it for the calm escape. Highly recommend; will return on future Vegas runs.

Zen kitchen's breakfast is amazing! Kristy our server is the sweetest person! She is so attentive, easy to talk with and helped us out so much. She checked on us continuously, and our water was always filled. The food is sooo yummy. The eggs Benedict is always made perfectly. The eggs are definitely quality eggs. I highly recommend ordering the pancakes! They are fluffy and delicious!

Zen, the in-house restaurant of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Las Vegas, was a convenient, quiet and very charming place to have a delicious meal off the crowded people streams of the strip. The interior was very modern, war-elegant, the service a bit slow and unresponsive, but the food was on point and definitely worth it.

    Chicken and waffles
    Fazle H.

The chicken and waffles a d fried chicken are both very good. The chicken was dipped in what tastes like a pancake batter. Our server Erick is one of the people we remember from our last visit. He is a very nice and welcoming person and knows the menu items very well. It's a small hotel restaurant so it's. It very busy which is nice. You don't need to wait long for your order to arrive either.

Assuming you coordinate your order(s) with your table and don't order rolls with a lot of rice, it's totally doable to get a great bang for your buck here! We ordered an array of items such as the nigiri, baked green mussels, oysters, edamame, mini udon, baked scallop roll, yakitori skewers, The Shit, Umami Special, and plenty more! Drink wise: 10/10 would recommend the Strawberry Lychee Soju cocktail Nicole's customer service was on point during my family's most recent visit. Everything we ordered came out at a reasonable time and our water jug was proactively refilled without us having to flag her down. She even greeted my dad for Father's Day! That was a lovely touch, seeing as we came in right before the dinner rush. Coming from a brief food service background myself and in the interest of mindfulness, I try to make ordering a lot of items as easy as possible. It helps a to have a server that's personable and attentive. We're so thankful for her taking such great care of us! Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto.
