ALWAYS an amazing fun place to go !!! Haven't been there for at least 4 years , stopped by on Saturday and the atmosphere was exactly the same as the old days . Crowd is awesome , live entertainment and not to mention the bar staff is top notch. If you want a great bar atmosphere this is definitely a place for you :) check it out !! We LOVE Zeppelinhall :)

JERSEY CITY: Zeppelin Hall Biergarten & Restaurant is a lively beer garden bursting with festive energy, delicious food, an impressive drink selection, and best of all, it is dog friendly in not one, but two areas! Leashed, well-behaved pups are welcome through the main entrance and can hang out in the second indoor room or enjoy the spacious outdoor beer garden. The menu is packed with European and American favorites like soft pretzels, bratwurst sandwiches, BBQ, pizza, and even vegan options. The beer list is extensive, and there is a full bar for cocktails and non-alcoholic choices too. We were impressed by the full liter pours, they are huge! You can also opt for a beer flight if you are in the mood to sample. The vibe is classic beer hall with festive touches and when we visited, it was Oktoberfest flair meets Halloween fun. On nice days, the outdoor space fills up fast, and it is easy to see why. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere made our visit a blast.

Great casual biergarten! Went on a Saturday night and we didn't have any issues with parking and finding a table! Super easy to order food & drinks! They also had a live band! Highly recommend the dry rub wings & the sausage sampler.

My sons 40th Birthday party was there! We had a great time yesterday. The foods & drinks were so delicious. Thank you all so much.

I had been wanting to come here with my gf for a while now and recently we got the chance to stop in one night after enjoying some beers at a brewery that was close by. As we approached it I had high expectations for this place as the area was great and the exterior was cool, but that soon changed. We walked in and I thought this is my kind of place. Btw, The place was pretty empty. I think there was maybe 10-12 people there including the patrons in the back. I sensed the vibe was off right away and douchey to say the least which put me off considering neither bartender working acknowledged us when we walked in or when we walked up to the bar to get drinks. The blonde haired girl was on her phone and the brown haired guy was too busy talking to a couple wannabe Wall Street types. We actually had to say, Can we get a couple beers to the girl on her phone because the other guy bartender was way too busy with his conversation. I mean you can't say, Hello, Welcome, Give me a second? SMH! We ordered an IPA and a sour which we've both had before. The beer selection wasn't great like I expected. We also wanted to order food but they told us that they had stopped serving right before we got there. What's the point of staying open late if you don't have appetizers at the least to serve your patrons!? Not acceptable! It is a cool place in general, but that doesn't matter if your service sucks and this place definitely sucks! Will we be back or will I recommend this to any of my friends. Nope! The one star is because architecturally it's very cool. Not recommended!

I ordered their pork schnitzel! It comes w/ potato salad and cucumber salad as well , the pork schnitzel was a bit dry . So I add there hot and spicy vinegar to eat ! They. Have a self serving station. So it's ok to leave your plate when you're done . The have bbq sauce and Carolina sauce to add on . The menu is soooo big here next time I order their bratwurst.

Our group always hosts event here for our German organization. While we obviously are grateful for the partnership and relationship built over the years, we've always looked past some of their flaws. Their outside beer taps always taste different than inside. I don't know if it's cleanliness, if it's flat, or what exactly it is. Would recommend an indoor bar or a canned or bottled drink instead. Also, we always come around 12PM, and their bathrooms are always overflowing, dirty, lacking toilet paper, etc. The ambiance is nice and the food is great, but our group is sad to have off-tasting beer and dirty restrooms when we visit. The pink hue in the ladies restroom upstairs is off putting at best. We always share feedback directly in addition to my review today, but wanted to share our true experience as we visit 4+ times annually.

Huge beautiful beer hall. It's family friendly, good for parties, and has clean bathrooms. I ordered the molden lava chocolate chip cookie and it was fresh baked. Pierogies were just okay. Potato salad rocked. Bartenders and servers are all friendly. We'll be back :)

This place has a nice selection of beers from Germany, Belgium, and the area. It has that German biergarten vibe and has plenty of seats. I didn't have a chance to try the food but maybe I'll give it a try next time. Looks to be a fun place.

Pleasantly surprised by this place today. The food was better than I thought it would be and the prices were less than assumed. Great outside area with huge tables. Inside was just as big. You order drinks from one bar and food from another. They give you a pager that's vibrates when your food is ready. Great place to meet a group of people since you don't have to split tabs. Great spot for brunch. Our mimosas were big and tasty. The kids meal cheeseburger and fries for $8 was a great deal and delicious. The chicken & Waffles $16 was a huge portion and also delicious. Overall a great spot that we will be back to.

Food (4/5): Solid food and I enjoyed the burger and fries. I got the Hidenburger and while good it was a bit salty. Besides that overall solid and I liked the combination of sausage in a burger. The fries were crispy and nice. We also got the Jalapeno poppers which were well made too. The others got pierogi and the sausage platter which were also good. Service (4/5): No issues with the service and the waiter and the counter was patient as we looked through the menu. You basically order at a counter and then pick up the food. Ambiance (5/5): Very large biergarten with tons of sports playing on TV. There's board games hosted here and overall a lively vibe. Can be a bit loud depending on the groups.

I've been wanting to come here for a bit and was glad to get the chance. The menu isn't quite accurate. It said 3 giant pretzels but only comes with one. The pretzel was hot and soft. It came with 3 dips. No complaints there. The arancini were amazing. Super hot and yummy. Again the menu wasn't accurate. Didn't mention Parmesan on top. They were a bit greasy. I would definitely get both again. The place was huge as were the bathrooms. There are no waiters so you do everything yourself.

Pros: - very cool art painted on the exterior walls. If I were rating it for aesthetics alone I'd give them a 5 for sure! - they carry over 50 beers! Pretty solid for a beer garden. Their food is standard brats, pretzels, grilled cheese that you find at similar establishments. - if you're a tourist and in the neighborhood, then a central spot to take a break while walking around FiDi. - there's a row of food vendors set up on certain days of the week right along the street between the Oculus and this beer garden, so there are other food options in case you're interested. - convenient to public transportation, a couple blocks from the PATH to NJ, the subway 1/4/5/6/E/N/R/W and multiple bus lines. Just don't stumble down any stairs or escalators after a few drinks. Cons: - it's basically all outdoor, so you're at the mercy of the weather. if it's really hot or rainy then better idea to go elsewhere. - it's seasonal, so as of 2025 only open April 1st to October 31. - Some have remarked that prices are on the higher side due to the location, that being said--it's the location that's kinda cool right? Depending on what it is, $18 for cocktails is sadly not that much compared to some other places in Manhattan. Overall if you're in the area worth checking out though I might not go out of my way to come visit. Good for a casual drink and to take in a view of the Oculus and One WTC.

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

This was noticeable and immediately set a negative tone. After seating them, the host returned and asked if we had been helped. When I said no, another staff member was called over to seat us. While we were eventually accommodated, the initial interaction made us feel dismissed and unwelcome from the start. The experience did not improve. Our food was delayed with little to no communication, and the service remained inattentive throughout. In addition, the seating area was uncomfortably cold, with only a small space heater attempting to warm what felt like a large, open structure. We ultimately decided to leave early. The setting feels modern and comfortable, making it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal. It works well for both casual dining and quick business meetups. Service was smooth and attentive. Overall, it's a dependable spot that delivers a consistently good experience!!!!!!

The hotel location is great. There are Citi bikes right across the street. There are three coffee…read moreshops on the same block, two of which are not Starbucks. There are lots of places to eat nearby and this hotel is close to, within walking distance of WTC and Battery Park to prominent tourists destinations. The hotel is on the east of NY but a quick walk to the west connects to a bike trail that takes you all the way up the coast and is a scenic ride and/or great transportation. The room was comfortable. The shower was large and had a big shower head (high up for tall people too). The shower was spacious as well. The bathroom had both bright and dim lights. The only complaint was the water was very hot - always. The room had outlets in all the right places and automatic blackout shades on the windows. I found the 16th floor to be nice and quiet at night. The light control panel and AC panel was at the bed side which was nice as well. I would stay here again. Wall & Water, which Yelp currently lists as closed, is very much open as of May 2022. However, it is only open for breakfast from 7-11. There is no room service option but you can get to go orders. Breakfast was menu based and my basic brekky of scrambled eggs, sausage and toast and potatoes was very good. The OJ was good as well. Free coffee and tea is available in this area as well from 7 to about 2 it seemed. Once breakfast is over the space is quiet and there is a kind of second lobby of the hotel with some nice seating areas right off the elevators which reminded pretty quiet. Centric Bar & Grill is open for lunch (12-2) and dinner (4-11). I had dinner here twice and enjoyed both times. The bread pudding dessert was great. The salmon was prepared well and was as a whole a great dish sides and all. The chicken linguine was good as well. The kitchen made me a nice side salad that was off the menu as well - it was basically just spinach and tomatoes but was a big serving and had good dressing on it. The bartender was friendly and attentive enough and didn't rush you. I'm not sure if he wasn't the greatest bar tender or if his bar stock was just very limited, but he had a hard time going off the cocktail menu for me and another guest I overheard ordering.
