Food is pretty good. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Prefer this place over the other gyros restaurants nearby.

I was very unpleased with the service... The guy at the cash register, who claims his name is Eduardo, was EXTREMELY RUDE! I live about 30 minutes from the location and I don't eat gyros (or any meat other than chicken and turkey). I ordered a Greek chicken plate but when I got home, I somehow had a gyro plate. Fine, I understand that miscommunications happen. I called only to be put on hold for a very long time. Had to call from a different number to get a response, then Eduardo(if that's really his name) told me he couldn't let me speak to a manager and that the only thing I could do was come all the way back. He refused to just take my number and allow me to come back when I was closer to that area. He did not ask if there was anyway he could compensate me for having to travel back so far. He simply had very poor customer service. Do not go here and allow them to treat you like crap. read more

I like to keep it short and sweet. Place is very decently priced and I really really enjoy the food! Place does like a little shabby on the outside, but common we all know the best fast food comes from the dingiest looking place. Was here recently for lunch as I was in the mood for a good gyro. Or at least I hoped would be a good gyro. I was not disappointed. I got the number 1, and enjoyed every bite. The gyro is one of the best I've had in the city. The meat is very tender and tasty. The fries came nice and hot and were a nice balance of soft but a little crunchy too. I had a gyro combo, it had gyro meat sandwich with tomatoes, onions and sauce, side of crispy french fries and a drink. It was a good size portion, can be shared by two people. It has a small place, about 6-7 tables so I would prefer to take out. Overall, good food and quick service. I would return! read more

I've been coming here for years after my sister schooled me on this spot. I usually get the gyro plate or mixed plate and I must say the gyros are delicious. Their chicken breast is grilled to perfection and they give you a lot of food for the price. Better to get the plate vs the gyro sandwich. That way you can have leftovers and make an extra sandwich with all the extras on the side as opposed to them being drenched on the sandwich and soggy. Their fries are tasty and the pita bread is so good you can eat it alone. That's just me! Expect long lines during lunchtime, but they are pretty fast with the orders. So good! We are here yesterday and I must say the hype is valid. I had the gyro fries and nibbled on a pizza puff. The Fries were SO good. I asked for Tzeki (sp) on the side. I was so full from only half my order. The portions are very large. I definable recommend going here. read more

The meat has all the flavor you'd expect, but there wasn't too much of it and it was shaved a bit on the thin side. Fries was good. Awesome fast food Gyro place. I would stick to the gyro's, my favorite is the lamb, but for the money you could probably try both at once. Their chicken pitas are one of my favorites, I visit them quite often on weekends. Their customer service is lacking. I placed my order as a walk in, it was busy so if figured I would also tip the cashier. When I got home I realized my order was incomplete so I called and spoke with Janelle to convey my dilemma. She suggested I go back with the food in order to verify I was indeed missing my meal, as if that proves anything. I explained I did not drive and my ride had since dropped me off and asked if they could take my name and give me credit for my next visit since I and my family go there often. She placed me on hold and came back saying that was not possible and the cooks had verified they placed 3 pitas and 3 fries in the bag. Well if that were true I wouldn't have called. I was more upset at the employees suggesting I was lying then losing out on the $10 I paid for a mea I did not receive. Janelle further proved her lack of customer service skills when she hung up on me after stating there was nothing further she could do and basically calling me a liar. I quickly called back and asked for the owners name which she did not provide but did reluctantly give her name. I will no longer be suggesting this restaurant to friends or spending my money at this establishment. Her unwillingness to provide a suitable form of credit, provide the owner's name or even an apology for their error has cost them the business of a once loyal customer. read more

Zeus has excellent, fresh, tasty and authentic tasting Greek dinner food ( gyros, chicken kebob, etc...) for a fraction of the price of the sit down places around it. So my friends and I strolled into Greektown wanting to satisfy our hunger for gyros. Walking around while comparing prices and smells, we saw a small spot filled with cops. As the movie Surf Ninjas taught me, if there's a bunch of cops, it's got to be good. Enter Zeus, mightiest of all the gods. The gyros at Zeus match the name. Not only did they have the best price (5.99 for gyro fries and drink). The gyro itself was gigantic. So much delicious lamb it'll make you wanna slap your momma. Not only was the amount of meat large, the lamb was very delicious. Toppings were plentiful and the tzaziki sauce was good. Fries were pretty good as well. The service was very friendly and fast. The decor was just like any other hole in the wall mom and pop shop. The only downfall to the place was it's not 24 hr. All in all though, great experience. I definitely reccommend this place if you are really hungry and are craving gyros. I'll probably be back to try some other things on the menu. read more

Friendly young man greeted me when I walked in and was polite and helpful even though he was about to close. The food is good prices. Typical of what you'd find in a hole in the wall gyro shop. Oh my gosh, they give sooooo much meat. My wife and I ordered dinner for delivery, she had a gyro dinner and I had a gyro sandwich. There was so much meat on my sandwich that I couldn't find the pita until I ate for 10 minutes and then I still couldn't get my mouth around the sandwich. Same thing for the hug pile of meat in my wife's dinner, we had to dig out the fries underneath and ended up with a whole extra meal and salad when we were done. And by the way the gyro meat is very good too as is the tzatziki sauce. Also pretty quick and hot delivery in less than a half hour for us. read more

decided to give this place a try since i wanted to try a new gyro place... ordered the rib tips and a gyro.. the rib tips came with bread, ribs, fries, and coleslaw.. it was really oily and the ribs had a weird taste to it.. the BBQ sauce was too sweet also.. the fries was below average.. it wasn't as crispy as it should... the gyro was OK.. not the best and not the worst i had.. they loaded it up with a lot of onions and sauce.. read more

This review is only for the dipped Italian roast beef sandwich . Yuk. It's Arby's-like gelatinous beef of unknown Sysco origin. It's tasteless and quite unappealing although the crinkly cut boardwalks-style french fries are tasty. I recently came here for a gyro combo plate. The cashier/cook gave my food to the wrong customer. After I waited another 5 mins and asked where my food was they started yelling at me and said that I had to take the other guys food. As angry as I was I just walked out. I will never come back here and suggest that you never try it. The management really needs to improve if they want to last. read more
