Service was great. There was a young lady named Tina who was very pleasant and polite when taking my order. This place seems like a nice small spot with workers who care. Ambiance: it's pretty small inside however they have some seating available. I would say it's good enough for a quick bite to get with family or friends. Food: I had the grandma pie and it was delicious, tasty, saucy, and cheesy! I can see why this is a popular item. Fried onion pizza pie is delicious. Glad I read the reviews and ordered it. It seems to be a popular item at Zevy's. When I first opened the box, I didn't see many fried onions. But there are a LOT of fried onions; they're hiding under the melted cheese! After reheating each slice, I used napkins to mop up the extra oil, as I do in most pizza shops. I wanted pizza at 10 pm on a Saturday night, found this place because my regular pizza places were closed. I placed an order online for a drunken grandma pie because a few other reviews suggested it. Aside from picking up the pizza and dealing with a huge line, waiting well beyond what my pick up time said and a very expensive pie...this might be the best pizza I ever had. Watching them finish the pizza is enough to make you never regret buying a whole pie (they literally throw handfuls of parmesan over the pizza right after taking it out of the oven). It's a shame that for those of us who keep kosher, we continue to patronize restaurants whose quality has gone down and prices have gone way up. We ordered a vegetarian pizza. It allegedly had broccoli, spinach and mushrooms. Why allegedly you ask? Well lets count the amount of vegetables; on the 12' pie there were 9 pieces of broccoli. The size of the broccoli was barely noticeable, you had to search for it. I'm not going to bore you with details, but let's just say there were barely any veggies and the price was $30. Was excited to try Zevy's since they just opened a few days ago. Popped in after Shabbos and the staff was friendly. Since they are open for a few hours after Shabbos they just had a couple different pizzas to order slices from, which was fine for us because we wanted to try their plain cheese pizza. If we wanted a different topping not available by the slice we could have ordered a fresh pie. The pizza is good! It's got a nice pizza to sauce ratio and the crust is perfect - not too thick, not too thin. I can't wait to go back during the week so we can try some of their pasta dishes and salads. Great pizza! They are kosher so I could not get my normal meatball topping but I got eggplant and black olives. The tomato sauce is really rich! Not sweet!! Which I love. And the eggplant slices are hardy. Would recommend! read more
