My husband & I have been regular customers since opening and always had a wonderful experience, not only with the food, but service until yesterday, May 1st! We are very unhappy with the service (lack thereof) by our waitress. I don't recall her name, but I'm sure the establishment will know who we are referring to. Not only was she very unpersonable, cold, never smiled, she showed no respect for us. After 15 minutes of being seated, I had to ask for the bread which came another 5 minutes later. There was a table of 7 young men seated next to us and on two occasions she went to their table (3 ft away) with coffee carafe and water pitcher and refilled their cups, turned and walked by us, never asking us if we wanted refills, which we did. I started to motion her and she just walked away. She never came over to ask if our food was ok or to refill anything. We sat for several minutes after finishing waiting for her to bring us our check (she walked by several times and attended the the big table, ignoring us) I finally had to flag her down to get our check. She passed by our table a few more times and each time I held up our check for her to take...she ignored me. A few times as she walked by I saw her look out of the corner of her eye towards us. Again, I had to flag her down to take the check, she asked if we need change to which I said yes. It was 15 minutes we sat and waited and finally I asked Koray where our change was. He said he would check on it. After another wait and the owner (I assume) speaking with her, she brought our change to us. There was no apology for her lack of consideration towards us. We were there 1 hr. 40 min.! We have always loved Zeytin, the food being exceptional and up until yesterday, good service. We have sent several friends to the restaurant since opening. What happened yesterday was unacceptable and no matter how delicious the food may be, poor service ruins the entire dining experience and we will not return any time soon. This particular waitress needs an attitude adjustment and learn to be cordial to the customers. read more

The food was so good we went for breakfast twice during our vacation! The bread and pastries are freshly baked in house and so delicious. I lived in Istanbul as a student and this is the best Turkish food I've had in America. The American breakfast was amazing as well -- the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was amazing, I was soaking up every last drop with the fresh pide bread. Highly recommend! Jasmine!!!! We sat at the bar for a small lunch today to try a few snacks---the lahmajun and feta cigars were amazing and the house made Dubai cheesecake was off the charts! However, the hidden gem in this place is the barista, Jasmine. Quiet maybe most of the time but we got her talking and she is really funny. The food was so delicious. Was laying in bed at the hotel and searched for a mimosa flight near me and ZEYTIN did not disappoint. There were two flights to choose from or a number of different individual mimosas. The Crème Brûlée French Toast was so delicious. My husband had the ZEYTIN Eggs Benedict and he loved it. The pancakes are light and fluffy and are like eating air. Skylar was our server and she was super friendly and steered us in the right direction for our breakfast selections. Sadly we are visiting from Seattle because this restaurant would become our go to breakfast restaurant. read more

Everything went well. The Turkish type atmosphere draws you in, and the service is impeccable! They go out of their way to please their customers. The menu from salmon to chicken or beef skewers to Turkish cuisine is nothing short of fantastic. Then; when you think they have outdone themselves, they serve the best desserts! Had breakfast at Zeytins for Mother's Day. After being greeted by our waiter Phillip my daughter in law and I were given beautiful flowers in recognition of Mothers Day.i ordered the Mediterranean Omelette with mushrooms, onions, peppers,Kalamata olives, tomatoes and feta cheese. My side was potatoes and also came with grape tomatoes and cucumber slices on side. Served with most delicious bread. The omelette was the best I have ever had. The freshest ingredients are used in this restaurant and the quality is evident in all our entrees. We all ordered different omelets and we all said it was the best we have ever had. The coffee we drank was Columbian and delicious too. The presentation of the Turkish coffee was beautiful with antique serving pieces. Also our coffee was served with lovely Demi tasse spoons. A nice touch. We had dessert to take home as we couldn't pass up the exquisite selection of pastries on display. They will start dinner service on weekends tge end of May. If you want fine food in a beautiful atmosphere give Zeytin a try. You will love it as we did. We stopped here for breakfast during our recent stay. I loved the atmosphere with its lively music. We had traditional coffee, which was very good. For our meal I had one of the avocado toast options. It was fabulous, but a lot for me. I took the other half home for lunch. My husband enjoyed the pancake breakfast. If you miss eating out in a big city, Zeytin is a great new spot for the Myrtle Beach community for you! The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the dining room's spacious, modern, and inviting interior design. My husband and I honeymooned in Turkey decades ago, so we ordered Turkish tea and coffee, the Mediterranean breakfast platter, and Menemen (which is very similar to Shakshuka). Finally, we enjoyed a freshly baked puff pastry for dessert. Everything was impeccably prepared, and the quality of the ingredients were simply top notch. Our server was delightful, too. Positive, inviting, knowledgeable, and very attentive without being overbearing. We don't usually eat at the same restaurant twice, but I believe we are going to become regulars at Zeytin! read more
