I love Ziggi's Coffee and go a couple of times each week. The service is very prompt and this helps as I am usually running between meetings. The drip coffee is solid and they have a number of other speciality options that friends and family have enjoyed. The food options are limited so this really is a drink spot, but they do have a some pastries and cake pops. My only feedback would be to brew dark roast a little later each day.

They have my favorite raspberry truffle drink! Blended, iced or even hot. I love it. The other flavors are great too. I even tried a bunch of their sandwiches. They're on the smaller side but actually use real eggs! So overall a nice spot that's just hidden really well.

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

He was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. With SO many sandwiches on the menu, choosing was definitely the hardest part! I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.

Well, we gave Cheba Hut another shot last night, and while this was definitely a better experience…read morethan the last one, we are still completely befuddled about how we're supposed to place an order and actually get the food the way we ordered it. My wife ordered the Power Plant, and we paid extra for Extra Spicy Ranch. Again. But apparently the employees have some kind of vendetta against actually putting Extra Spicy Ranch on the sandwich when you order Extra Spicy Ranch. I can just picture someone reading the ticket: "Oh look, the customer has explicitly said they want Extra Spicy Ranch! They even PAID for Extra Spicy Ranch! But because I work here, and I am the gatekeeper of Spicy Ranch, NONE SHALL PASS!" At this point I'm convinced there's a giant slug-like mob boss named Cheeba the Hutt, cousin of Jabba the Hutt, sitting somewhere in the back of Cheba Hut guarding the Spicy Ranch reserves. Apparently selecting it online and paying actual money for it isn't enough to get past Cheeba. Every time we pay for extra, never have we got extra - how do I know? Because the sandwich is dry. I ordered a Build Your Own because Cheba Hut has decided to no longer carry the A-Train, which was my legit GO TO! I'm still salty about that one. I selected mayo, Dijon mustard, and regular mustard on my sandwich, so thankfully I had enough sauce to keep me content. Mine was actually pretty good. Then there was the Rainbow Crispy. What a con-job! I thought I was getting a Fruity Pebbles crispy treat. Oh noooooo. They watered that sucker down with Cap'n Crunch and Crunch Berries too! If I wanted a Crunch Berry bar, I would've ordered a Crunch Berry bar. Hoodwinked! I do want to be fair because this visit WAS better. Pickup went smoothly, the ingredients were fresh, and after our previous awful experience Cheba Hut refunded our entire order. Their customer service afterward was great, and I absolutely give them credit for making things right. I even reached out before this visit because I didn't want anything free. I just wanted to pay for our food, have it prepared the way we ordered it, and hopefully get back to having the positive Cheba Hut experiences we used to have. And that's really where my frustration comes from. Cheba Hut used to be a "Fo Sho!" for us. It was one of those places where you knew what you wanted, knew it was going to be good, and didn't think twice about ordering. Unfortunately, that "Fo Sho!" confidence has now been reduced to more of a, "Meh... I hope they don't mess it up again." So this visit does redeem Cheba Hut somewhat. We're moving back up to 3 stars. The ingredients are fresh, there's still a lot to like, and I KNOW they can make a damn good sandwich. We just need to figure out how to consistently get the sandwich we actually ordered.

On this occasion, I put my order for a club Lulu, which is basically a turkey Tom that includes bacon. I like to get my club Lulu and add onions, cucumbers, peppers, and mustard on the side. When I started to eat sandwich on my journey home, I noticed that it was void of bacon. The bacon offers a certain saltiness to offset the turkey. Thankfully, I had only driven like three blocks away, so I returned and let them know that they forgot to add the bacon because one of the sandwich didn't taste that great and too it was kind of expensive to get the club. Lulu and cost like $13 for an 8 inch sub. They were really good about remaking my sandwich and it was so much better. The second time around it had the perfect amount of ingredients and the bacon really does complement the turkey. I'm so glad that I was able to get the sandwich made the way it's supposed to be. All in all I was still say that I was a little disappointed in Jimmy John's and it's a hard sale to do an 8 inch sub for almost $13 so I probably won't be back and I probably will just end up making a sandwich at home because I can make several at least two sandwiches at home for the same price. I also noticed that they no longer have $.25 leftover bread and I'm sure that's because of the economy. But now the leftover bread is like $.93.
