I don't live in the area, so I've only been here twice to meet a friend (it was kind of the half-way point for each of us), but I would definitely be a "regular" if I did live closer. I am not a coffee drinker, but both of the chai blends that I tried here were great and the employees were very friendly as well. On both occasions, I hung out with my friend for around an hour and never felt like I was outstaying my welcome. It's a cozy, cute place with a very mellow atmosphere & good chai. This place is a great coffee shop. I'm super picky about coffee and this place was amazing. Their pastries were fresh and the barista made a wonderful latte. No one wants a bad coffee experience first thing Monday morning. The coffee wasn't good, but my complaint has more to do with a general lack of customer service. The person who handled my order displayed a poor attitude and a lack of basic manners. She seemed to have misunderstood me several times, which might have been part of the issue. I asked for my coffee for-here and she nearly gave me a to-go cup. I asked to return a sandwich because it was soggy, in exchange for a different item, and after she figured out how to complete the return, she sighed heavily when I asked for my new item. Overall, she gave the impression that my every word was ruining her day. She sighed and rolled her eyes several times. It was 7:30am and not terribly busy. In no way was I attempting to be a difficult customer. I was kind and patient with her, and I even over-tipped both times, even though neither interaction with her was something Ziggi's should be proud of. I have had better experiences in the past, and I believe Ziggi's holds itself up to a higher standard. I recognize how difficult a food service/retail position can be, but a smile and a modicum of kindness go a long way. read more

Great selection and imaginative flavors. I like the Almond Joy blended frozen coffee (Frapuccino to Starbucks folks) and the Peanut Butter Mocha (light on the PB). The drive thru location is fast and the gal there was very sweet. Look for 2 for 1 coupons in your mail-great value! read more

I recently moved from Longmont to Boulder, and I can honestly say the only thing I miss about Longtucky is Ziggi's coffee house. I used to go almost daily for a butterfinger iced blended coffee, and it was worth the $5 and the extra calories. The workers are almost always happy and usually remember you which is nice when spending $25 a week on coffee. read more

I frequent Ziggi's Coffee at couple of times a week. The staff there is awesome and recognize me and know my drinks when I go there. Brandon is an amazing business owner and has partnered up with my company to offer promotions to our clients and has always supported our Local Fundraiser, Bowling for CARHOF. I meet clients in a lot of different coffee shops up and down the front range and Ziggi's is the best yet. Their drinks are great and the atmosphere is perfect for both personal and business meetings. If you haven't been there, try it out. If you have been there, tell a friend who hasn't. read more

Ok...so we found this place about 4 years ago...just about a year after we moved to Longmont. I never in my life would have "thunk" that I'd be so hooked on a coffee shop. Where to begin...the owners, Brandon and Camrin...such cool people. They're friendly, they remember just about everyone who comes into the place...packed or not. I've seen Brandon handle some of the most difficult customers with a friendly smile and without blinking. Their staff is so friendly, fast and accurate with the orders. If you've ever been here on a Saturday or Sunday morning, it can be a zoo with a line out the door waiting for a latte or other delicious drink, but they always seem to move the crowd through within minutes while keeping the accuracy of the orders very high. They use Coda coffee from Boulder...I won't hold the fact that they get their coffee from Boulder against them! I love the stuff and buy a couple pounds of it a month for work. Their food items are delicious as well...but the one that tops them all is their Breggos (http://www.breggos.com/) if you haven't had a Breggo, you're missing out. These savory pockets of deliciousness go best with hot sauce (we get our jalapeno hot sauce from a place in Palisades. It's called "Dad's Jalapeno Sauce" and is more about jalapenos than vinegar: http://www.pearblossomfarms.com/ ) What's kind of crazy is my wife and I live in Longmont because she used to work in Boulder and I work in Fort Collins. Now that we both work in Fort Collins, we don't want to move north because it would ruin our Saturday and Sunday morning Breggo's and Coffee from Ziggis every week! Ziggi's is my absolute favorite coffee spot in Longmont. We are being inundated with big businesses, as the community continues to grow, so to see a local joint like Ziggi's always packed (and always adding new locations) is great. The espresso is good, the food is delicious, but it's really the staff and the sense of community that keeps me coming back. Their baristas are super friendly, and there are always musicians and artists and all sorts of interesting people hanging out there. read more

Honestly, I hate everything Starbucks stands for, but at least the train their employees. Every time I try giving Ziggis another chance to get my drink order right, they mess it up. The baristas seem totally confused by even the most basic tea order, the drip coffee is invariably terrible and any pull coffee is poorly made, not to mention expensive. There is no real attempt at atmosphere, just a big room with cheap tables and chairs. Usually, children are running wild and annoying covers of Bieber songs are piped in. Yuck! Honestly, I feel bad for the baristas. Clearly the owner can't be bothered to give them any standard pointers. read more

now when it comes to coffee i'm no fool. i found ziggi's when i was looking for a place that had free wifi. it's in the old downtown part of Longmont, in an old brick building. i absolutely love the old brick walls. i was cautious about trying their coffee, but i eventually did. i haven't had any of their drip coffee yet (it's been far too warm), but i do really enjoy their iced mocha. they also have open jazz jam sessions during the week, and many many music performers. it's a very nice place, the staff is very friendly, and the espresso is good. read more

Went though the drive through on N. Main St. I asked for a 20oz with 3 sugar in the raw on the side. I was told they don't have packets. I asked for approx 3 teaspoons of sugar in the raw in a small cup so I can taste the coffee and see how much I needed. I was told there would be a charge for the cup- are they for real, $2.70 for a cup of coffee and then they want to gouge me for more money. This is a drive through, not a sit down place. Bright neighborhood place where people come to meet up for business or for pleasure. Coffee is really good and I am sensitive to all coffee. Good for kids... They have crayons and coloring books so you can have a real conversation with your friend. Friendly staff and they even ask you how much foam you want in your capp. A bit loud but otherwise lively and a staple in Longmont. read more

The place is okay, but on any given day there is usually a very weird customer that will try to get into your personal space. They think they are very liberal spiritual things and they don't see themselves as a psychopath or a sociopath. they are usually old baby boomer men. I have only been in Ziggies a few times when these people, (usually men,) break the social boundaries and try to get inside the minds of others. This morning one weirdo did this again. I went in to use a mug that I brought back from England. It was really cool with England's flag printed across the front. I have to confess that I wanted to use it to impress the cute girl who run the counter, but I also wanted to bring it 'in.' Man what a disappointment. The stupid sociopath would have made my trip into baby boomer karma and my memory would have become butter on a piece of old crusty social toast. I was mad and left the place in haste. I walked past the old creepy man and dumped a half of cup of coffee in the garbage can. I felt at a loss because I had to waste a half of cup of coffee, but at least I didn't have to loose my mind. I know this is real and not just some issue I am dealing with because I drove to Starbuck's and it is here where I am writing my review. Will I go back to Ziggies? I don't know, but I know one thing for certain. Cafes in Europe and in England are not at all like they are in the States. I think this experience was good for me because now I want to go back to England where people are treat one another with respect and where they aren't crazy. My favorite coffee in town. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is good. If there is a downside, it is that the wifi is slow (seems to be throttled to not encourage you to park your butt for very long) and that on weekends, the homeless seem to take up residence on the couches in the morning. As far as the drinks go, no complaints at all. Tonight though, I was hungry and tried one of their hummus wraps. The wrap was supposed to have red pepper hummus, lettuce, tomato, and carrots. What I got was a ton of hummus and a few very soggy pieces of lettuce. No tomato, no carrots. The sell by date was for 6/16, nine days from now (kinda lengthy?)...I would be scared to eat that sandwich after another day or two given the gross lettuce. Bottom line: quality of wraps not up to par. Wish I had spent that five dollars elsewhere. read more
